Saybrook Point Cottage - Charming and Private
Charme, un chalet chambres situé sur l'historique Saybrook Point où la rivière Connecticut répond Long Island Sound. Cette maison entièrement meublée, très confortable dispose d'une chambre, une salle de bain, salon, et un manger dans la cuisine entièrement équipée. Il a également SmartTV, Wifi et climatisation.
Situé dans une rue calme qui se termine à South Cove de Saybrook, il ya des portes coulissantes en verre qui donnent sur une pelouse aux allures de parc magnifiquement paysagé, privé. Il n'y a pas de nager dans South Cove, il est donc juste un cinq minutes en voiture de la plage de sable de la ville. La maison d'hôtes lumineuse et aérée est idéale pour les célibataires ou les couples en quête de détente et d'aventures.

Cozy little cottage. Just right for medium petite couple (5’1 and 5’8). Very well supplied, a bit cluttered for my taste but homey and functional. We would definitely consider returning for a quiet cozy get-away. Real cute stay.

We had a few days mid-week to get away from work etc and this location met our needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable, great restaurants and walks nearby and our dog was very happy to have lots of space. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable, cozy cottage in a nice neighborhood close to the water. I enjoyed relaxing on the deck, walking in the neighborhood and watching the ospreys fish. Close to restaurants and shops on Main St. A great place to relax.

This was a brief trip, but we loved it. The location is fantastic and we were able to visit many cute towns and the outlets for shopping. Al was a great host!

We were supposed to stay 3 nights but due to a pet's illness were only able to stay 1 night. Al was gracious enough to allow us a late checkout on our last day. The cottage is cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Location is wonderful. Might consider staying again.

The cottage was cozy and had all the comforts of home. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals. The grill on the deck was nice for a couple nice steaks and the outdoor seating was great.
Al was an excellent host. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and even provided us recommendations of local establishments.

We lucked out with the weather, had a great shopping experience in Mystic. We ate at some great restaurants in Old Saybrook as well.

Everything you need in this sweet little cottage and a nice quiet neighborhood too. Our stay was great. Love that we were able to bring our little dogger with us.

Al is a joy and an easy to reach host. The neighborhood is lovely, wonderfully quiet, and convenient to many beaches and dining options. Food Works, an adorable and very well stocked health food store is minutes away. Ecellent restaurants with food on the heathy side are close by. I loved discovering Tea Kettle for delicious, organic breakfast and lunch. Dinner at Water’s Edge, overlooking the Sound, is yummy and has great views. The cottage is well cleaned and comfortable. Importantly, the cleaners clean well without the use of toxic cleaning supplies. Bed and sofa are comfortable for lazying about. The outdoor patio is a great spot for dining al fresco. Al is delightful, considerate, and prompt with communications. It's a perfect spot a solo trip, particularly for a traveler who prefers healthy environments and food.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway for our anniversary and this was perfect for us (and our dog!). The cottage was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Such a peaceful setting, with a beautiful. private patio. We both loved it and hope to come back soon.!

We found our stay to be private and centrally located. Close to town and for walking in the area. The patio is a great addition to have at VRBO. We would definitely book this again. loved our weekend even though the weather was not great!

This rental is exactly as you see in the photos. Clean and cozy. Extremely well designed to make the most of small areas. We did not feel crowded and were very comfortable. The property is very private, in a quiet and beautiful area, yet an easy walk to a nice park and the water. We had two puppies with us and the cottage is very dog friendly. The owner was wonderful… friendly, easy to communicate with, and accommodating. I’d go back.

This quaint cottage was PERFECT! It has SO much character and was the most majestic little getaway. The area was warm, welcoming and beautiful. Al was so helpful accommodating me on my booking at the last minute and greeting me once I arrived. I not only recommend this little gem, I can't wait to go back!!!

The cottage was so quaint and comfortable. Perfect size for 2 people and pets are accepted. Close proximity to all that Connecticut new England brings. Beautiful walks and jogs from the property to enjoy the river and sound!! Would stay again!!

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The cottage had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed grilling and having dinner on the patio. The owner was very responsive.

It was the perfect getaway cottage - cozy, clean and located near everything. Amazing 9 hole golf course right over the causeway, more restaurant, shop and roadside lunch spots than you could visit in a week and a peaceful backyard outdoor setting that was just what the doctor ordered. Our black lab was over the moon with all the walks and the backyard to romp in.

Great Potential, But Falls Short
Enjoyed Old Saybrook and being on my first vacation with my sister, but this cottage does not live up to its potential. Place was so small, especially the bathroom, and was cluttered with furniture in poor condition. It was not ‘shabby chic’ and was disappointing to me at this price.
I must admit, however, that the exterior was lovely, including a peaceful deck for morning coffee, The owner was charming and helpful.
The location is quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful
We loved Al's cottage! It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with kitchen items. We particularly enjoyed having drinks on the patio while admiring all the spring flowers and trees. Al was an enthusiastic and responsive host. We definitely hope to return in the future when we visit family in the area.

Quaint cottage in quiet neighborhood
Quaint cottage in quiet neighborhood- was as described in the listing. Probably perfect for warm weather - we were there for the blizzard of 2022. The path and driveway were shoveled promptly. The only improvement (and these are minor) might be parking closer to the cottage or a paved path to it. We’ll definitely be back!
