10/10 will definitely stay here again next time we're on Oahu. Just a short walk to the beach. So close we could see the water every morning on the great lanai while having bfast and coffee. Communication with Maureen was great. Quiet location/residential area. Has everything you need for your stay including things for the beach. A/C is a bonus.

This adorable unit is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, even all the beach toys like chairs, ice chest, beach towels, floaty toys and boogie boards! Just bring your swimsuit and enjoy the very short walk down a private trail to a beach with the softest sand I’ve ever experienced. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. I can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay here while enjoying vacation and traveling for work. We teleworked from the property for a couple days and found the WiFi and setup to be great. The location is so close to the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. Short drive into Kailua for additional services. Two things of note for others. The bed is on the softer side and there isn’t a dishwasher so dishes are hand washed. Whoever stayed before us did a so-so job with cleaning them, so we ended up having to rewash before using in some cases. In the scheme of things these were fairly minor and we loved staying here!

Everything that this listing says is true…Perfect location..private access right or your door for one of the top 10 beaches in the world.. close to all kinds of food.. walking distance to your morning coffee and food if you don’t want to fix yourself. You won’t go wrong with this ohana.

Best location, best price, best everything!! It felt like we were Kailua residents for a few days - private parking, private beach entrance (far enough from the public beach that we had the beach to ourselves), and the accommodations are perfect. Hosts had thought of everything for us - cooler, beach chairs, towels, even after sun aloe for when I didn’t wear enough sunscreen. Perfect getaway for a couple, even has a private balcony with a sunrise ocean view. Stay here!!

It’s a small place, basically just one large room. Certainly perfect for someone traveling alone as I was. Also fine for a couple who doesn’t mind a smaller place. The location is absolutely unbeatable, being a very short walk to the sand.

This place is legit!! The location is incredible--a short walk down a private path to a wonderful, quiet beach. This place is perfect for a couples trip--plenty of room and all the amenities you could ask for. We will definitely stay here again!!

We had a pleasant time in the treehouse and enjoyed the close beach. Would return anytime.

The “treehouse” is amazing in every way, from the location steps away from the beach, to the beautiful aesthetic and friendly neighbors, to the ease and kindness of check-in and communication with the owner. Best place I’ve ever stayed in all of Hawaii, and I’ve been to the islands many times. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Clean, quiet, and well-equipped with good quality chairs and towels for beach days and plenty of cooking tools for meals. The only thing missing is standard height seating. The small breakfast table has stools, and the table on the lanai is a high-top with oversized chairs. An ergonomic challenge for us, but otherwise a great unit and the perfect location.

Great and easy access to the beach, in out opinion the most beautiful beach in Oahu. The treehouse has everything you may need, very clean, have a nice balcony to have your breakfast, complete kitchen, the bed is very soft to my liking but it’s ok. It’s close to a nice market (Kalapawai) 👍

We had a wonderful stay at the Tree House. The property was just as described. Communication with Maureen was great. The location of this property can't be topped. Just steps along a private path to a beautiful beach! Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from and an easy drive to many great sights to see. You won't regret booking here. We hope to return in the not too distant future!

This is a lovely, spacious studio that is laid out perfectly. No cramped feeling in this unit. Lots of windows facing the beach so there's delightful air flow and the soothing sound of waves breaking on the beach. We didn't have to turn on the air conditioner even once. Lanai is positioned on east side for terrific roof top dining, sunrise watching and a peak of Kailua Bay. Kitchen was well equipped with nice, new dishes and cookware. Cupboard had a nice selection of condiments, teas and spices. Bathroom was spacious with a lovely rock floor shower. The unit is nicely divided by a half wall so you don't ever feel like you're living in the bedroom or sleeping in the living area. VERY clean, not a single bug visitor during our stay. We couldn't find any garbage bags, so we called Maureen and some bags showed up on our front step within hours. The walk to the beach is REALLY only 75 yards, through an unlocked, clean walkway. Easy to race over ten minutes before classic Kailua beach sunrises without spilling your coffee. We fully intend to return to this unit on our next visit to Kailua. I can’t imagine we could have found a more perfect place in Kailua for our budget. Easy access to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever experienced, good coffee and breakfast right around the corner, walk to town, adorable cottage equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt blessed to be here and were sad to leave.
