This was a last minute find for us due to a prior rental being cancelled. Owners basically rescued us on short notice and allowed us to book their beautiful home for days leading up to our son's wedding. When we arrived, it was simply beyond expectations. There were 11 of us and the 6 bedroom/6 bath home was amazingly spacious, and had breath-taking views. It was well stocked, well appointed, and so very comfortable.

We were told that an Event/Wedding Tent would be on the property when we arrived on Saturday. It was agreed that it would be removed on Monday. It was not. It remained on the property, adjacent to the house, all week. It obstructed 100% of the views from the ground floor and 75% of the views from the main floor. It was massive. The Tent is not depicted in any of the photographs of the house. The owner, Matt, at the end of our stay, admitted they " unfortunately" forgot to tell us that the Tent would be there all week. Additionally, there were significant issues (either not working at all or not working correctly) with the: 1. A/C; 2. Internet; and 3. TV. The owner, Matt, was indifferent to almost all of ours concerns, especially and surprisingly, the Tent. He even said the Tent was an " asset" !

This home is magnificent! Everything about it is top-notch! There is a large yard so our kids could play outdoor games. It is a beautiful area for running and the house is simply stunning. It exceeded our expectations!

I don’t even know where to start…it was the best rental experience ever. We had a big family get together with 11 of us staying in the house and another 10 staying in Monument. We hosted a Murder Mystery party and a catered dinner. The host family was quick to respond back and super accommodating. They met us at the house at check-in to explain how to work the heated pool, hot tub and in-house sound system. We had roughly 2 feet of snow the first full day, which made it hard to get up the driveway but they were quick to connect us with someone to plow the driveway and at a very reasonable price. Once the snow was done, it made for the most beautiful setting. Perched up on a hill, overlooking all the houses lit up in the neighborhood valley, the white snow covered mountains with the green trees and red rocks peeking through the snow, is something we will never forget. The house is a great size and never felt crowded. The bedrooms all have great views, were all good size and were very comfortable. The house was loaded with just about anything you can think of or anything you would need to host a group. The pool and hot tub worked great and were put to good use nightly. The location is great with plenty of food and shopping options nearby and it’s a quick 15 minutes into Colorado Springs. I’m sure I’m forgetting plenty and could go on and on about how amazing this house is but I’ll just say if you are considering this house, JUST DO IT! You won’t regret it!

We loved the house along with the heated indoor pool. It's nice for larger groups with lots of room to spread out. They have a very large property with easy to follow trails and a small group of deer wandered through the yard one afternoon.

The property was my best rental on VRBO. Reserved for Son’s 50th birthday party. Attended by 13 adults and one two year old child . Had ample room to spread out and enjoy all of he family. The custom house was one of a kind. Very clean and had all the amenities one could ask for and the location/views at the summit left us all not wanting to leave.

This house was everything you could want and need for a gathering with friends and family. We had people coming in from out of state to attend and celebrate my son graduating from USAFA. We have rented many houses during our 4 years of visiting CO, this house far exceeded my expectations. It was so well stocked with whatever you would possibly need. Diana and Matt were great and went over all of the details of the house with us. They were awesome and very prompt with answering questions via text.

We had a wonderful time at the Summit House. It's huge, beautiful, and it was the perfect place for our family to reconnect. It was beautiful inside and out. The kids had a blast exploring the trails around the house and were in the pool any chance they were given. The sounds system is super fun - you can pipe music throughout the house. The kitchen was spacious and fun to cook in. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were all spacious and well appointed. The managers/owners were responsive and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!!!

This was this perfect property for a family getaway. We had a 8 adults and 3 children, including a toddler — and there was plenty of room for all of us to gather together, but also spread out. The owners were very responsive to all our questions, both prior to arriving, as well as throughout our stay. Our trip to the Colorado Springs area was wonderful, largely due to the terrific home base we were able to have with this property.

100% perfect!
Matt & Diana were wonderful hosts. Matt met us at the house and went over everything we needed to know and also gave us history and information about the surrounding areas. Diana was so quick in replying and answered all possible questions, putting to ease the mother of the Bride :) They did everything possible to make our stay as good as possible. The house is amazing to say the least. The grounds and private areas are beautifully maintained and the inside of the house was as well. We were a party of 13 - Immediate family to the Bride and her bridesmaids and husbands. Everyone had their own private spaces and the house was perfect for an intimate dinner the night before the wedding, then had the most perfect lighting in the study for hair and make-up the morning of the wedding. We were able to take Bridal portraits at the house both inside and out before heading to our venue. The whole experience with the house helped to make the wedding a perfect and memorable experience for us all. I would highly recommend the house for any reason and thanks to Matt & Diana for everything they did.

Summit House is beautiful and the location is great. The outdoor areas were comfortable and peaceful. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids and the adults. Everything you need is provided. We held a small group meeting with 13 people at this property! We had plenty of space and utilized every inch of the house! The downstairs was a perfect meeting space and the patio was great for some fresh air. Room sizes and bed set up fit our needs exactly. Incredible Home
We spent five days in this property for USAFA graduation. The view on all sides is incredible. So many places to be with your family or enjoy solitude. The house is definitely built for large families or groups that want to celebrate and have a good time. Matt and Diana were great hosts and were there to greet us and show us how to use all of the electronics, pool, spa, Sonos, etc. The home has a gourmet kitchen and I really enjoyed the Traeger grill. Would recommend a house to anybody.

My name is Oleg Stepanyuk and I am a youth pastor of House of Prayer church in Lincoln, NE. We were visiting sister church in Denver and had an opportunity to spend one extra day skiing/snowboarding. Truly loved this property. Great house with spectacular views (so if you need a great photo session or simply an inspiration - this is a huge win). Indoor pool with adjacent jacuzzi is cozy and gives you a rare chance to relax after your outdoor experience. The hosts take an extra step to meet us onsite and provide a brief orientation on how to use the pool etc. Great, welcoming people to work with. I am strongly recommending this place as one of the best we've ever stayed in!

If you ever decide to stay in Colorado, you need to stay here. For soooo many reasons.
First, Matt and Diane could not be easier to reach or more hospitable. We really enjoyed getting to know them and they are sincerely decent human beings. As for the Summit House, let me say it was beyond description! This home was meticulously appointed from soup to nuts....you long for nothing when you are here. Everything is high-end....we had 5 people in the house....it could easily house many more. BR's everywhere! With Bathrooms! Perfect for large families. Each morning in the back yard we were able to watch the deer eating and relaxing.
This home is away from the hustle and bustle of the city noise and traffic , yet just 5 min away from anything you need. Pharmacies, Grocery stores, fuel, restaurants. etc.
Don't make the mistake of passing this property up. Booking it will be the best vacation decision you have ever made. We can't wait to come back next summer!!!

The Perfect Wedding Weekend
My daughter got married at the Historic Pinecrest, just minutes away from this spectacular place. Upon arrival, Matt took us on a tour of the property, including a beautiful trail. We had a nice evening at the house, after the rehearsal, and the bridal party all stayed with us. We spent the next day getting our hair and makeup done in the Master Suite while family members enjoyed the pool and rec room and patios. So many beautiful backdrops were available for the perfect wedding pictures! The day after the wedding we enjoyed the entire property....being able to recap the wedding and enjoy this beautiful home! The entire weekend was perfect and seamless, and my daughter had her fairytale wedding with a "castle" as part of her story. This home is incredibly beautiful, but also so comfortable. It just felt like HOME to all of us. The owners were so accommodating and easy to communicate with...they went above and beyond to make ours a great stay. I can't say enough good about our experience, and I highly recommend The Summit House. It's every bit what the photos portray.

Perfect Weekend
We had a small event at the Summit house and it was perfect! The pictures can’t even do it justice. Every room has a beautiful view, we loved waking up and sitting on the balcony and watching deer walk around the back yard. The house was beautiful and clean, the property is well maintained, and the owners are very kind and helpful. Since we were having an event, they were very generous about the space and provided a lot of great suggestions. It was a beautiful setting and everything was perfect!

FABULOUS PROPERTY
We held our family reunion at the Summit house and had a OUTSTANDING vacation! We appreciated the time the host spent with us on check in day to explain all the many features the house contained. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 6 children between the ages of 12 and 4. Everyone had plenty of room and the indoor pool and spa was a major focal point of our daily activity Every night was movie night as our entire group could be accommodated in the large basement recreation room. The gas fire pit provided the opportunity to have s’mores on several occasions There are also four gas grills available for use The views from the balconies and gazebo are spectacular. Each morning our breakfast was interrupted by grazing deer which caused plenty of excitement for the younger members of our group The kitchen was amazing and we found the pantry filled with just about any seasoning you needed With two full refrigerators and freezers in the house and a backup refrigerator in the garage, there was more than enough room to store all our food and drink purchases. Plenty of utensils and dishes for our large group. The dual dishwashers were also a very nice feature. The house is located within 35 minutes of all the major Colorado Springs tourist attractions and within 10 minutes to Palmer Lake where we were able to use our kayaks and paddle board. We really enjoyed the 10 days we spent at the Summit House!

This home is absolutely beautiful and the location is even more impressive than the home! We had 12 and we all had plenty of room. The pool is a blast to end the day with the kids! Matt and Diana are so helpful and welcoming! We would recommend this property for a Colorado vacation. Hopefully we will get to return.
