This is our second year staying at Heather's beautiful home in Hernando Beach. We absolutely LOVE everything about it. It fits our family needs so well. Two teenage kids. We fish, kayak, rent a pontoon and spend time at the Flats. Lots of dolphins and manatees this year. Thank you for a perfect stay. Christmas was perfect again!

From the drive into the community where the house is, to the house/HOME itself… EVERYTHING was fantastic. Easy commute from airport and plenty to do or not do around. We fished, kayaked and enjoyed the serene view!! Thank you Heather and family. We had a great family gathering!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful gulf front home with spectacular views and welcoming outdoor living spaces! We enjoyed the pool, use of the kayaks and standup paddleboard. (Note: It's easier to get on and off water vessels during high tides) We brought fishing equipment and caught lots of fish right off the huge dock. (Bait shop was right up the road.) Loved the privacy being on a cul-de-sac at the end of the canal with full view of the sunsets, that were simply amazing! We enjoyed the boats and wildlife going by while sitting on every level of the house! We saw dolphins every day, even from the kitchen window! We even saw a manatee, and that made my trip complete! Lastly, kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals. We checked in and headed right to Publix to stock up (there is also a Wal-mart close by). We also stopped by local specialty shop, Cupcake Heaven, for special cupcakes to celebrate my daughter and my shared birthday. Highly recommend! I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family!

This home is absolutely beautiful inside and out with an amazing view. The house was super clean and beautifully decorated! We will definitely be going back!

It would be tough to find another rental at this price point with the amenities and proximity to the beach that this has. Perfect for a family of four!

Last minute booking and needing to house a large family. This place was a perfect fit. Quiet street and direct waterfront made this place a perfect fit. The house was super clean and well equipped. We will definitely book again if available.

This property was perfect for easy access out to the scalloping areas, with easy access to the boat ramp and dock for any size boat. Communication with the owner was above average and made us feel very welcome. No complaints! However one suggestion, we could have used hand rails in the pool and boat areas for a couple of the older members of our party.

My family and I (hubby and 2 boys) had a wonderful time relaxing at this house. Beautiful scenery all around us- we saw dolphins and manatees and enjoyed sunsets from deck each night! Would definitely stay here again when we return to Florida.

We had an awesome week! Rental was exactly as described. Host was quick to respond to questions. Sunsets, wildlife, easy water access, and pool were our favorites!

Based on the amazing reviews and pictures of this wonderful home we knew it would be great - but in fact it was awesome.!! The home was immaculate -cleaner than any VRBO I have stayed in. The house was decorated beautifully and the furniture was comfortable, Best of all the beds were comfortable ! Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking and serving meals. Kayaks were provided but we did not have a chance to use. The pool was terrific. Every night we were treated to an amazing sunset, Most days we enjoyed appearances by dolphins and manatees. Quiet, relaxing and refreshing vacation for sure. Recommend the kayaking at weekie watchee state park. Also all the great hiking and biking trails at the preserve. Enjoyed a few delicious dinners at Brian’s. Also recommend the Silver Dolphin for an amazing breakfast. We Look forward to returning. Also - Heather was awesome - she checked in with us and was so responsive whenever we reached out with a question. Highly Recommend!

Our extended family of six adults had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home on the water! Loved having the pool and the two kayaks to use. Most of our time was spent outside on all the great outdoor decks and patios that had lots of furniture for lounging and eating. We saw dolphins with their young and a manatee with her baby. The large beds were very comfortable. The bunk room would probably work best for kids rather than adults, which is what it’s intended for. The kitchen was well stocked! If someone needs to rent extra kayaks, I recommend Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental…they deliver and pick up. The high tide provides lots of paddling about. It’s a beautiful way to see the mangroves up close and to spend time on the water. Very easy getting on and off board using the ladder on the dock. Thank you Heather and family for making your home available! We will stay there again if the future brings us to Hernando Beach

The stay was awesome, some amenities were not available for use right away but owner offered to bring items that were needed right away. We had new paddles deliver to the home during our stay. We tried fishing from back dock and caught some mangrove snapper. The bait shop up the road was very helpful, and owners are kind. We booked a fishing charter with Turtlehead Charters. Frank and August were amazing caught snook, redfish, sea trout, and lady fish! We kayaked when tide would allow, make note when tide is out the water behind the home is NOT accessible, but that didn’t effect our stay as we didn’t bring a boat. The rooms are large and our little loved the bunk bed room. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are on the top floor. Master is on the main and garage access is the ground level. There is a pool house area connected to home on ground level so it made it easy to rinse off after swims with out creating a mess in the main portion of the house. Each deck had areas for relaxing and napping! We left the back door open in the master bedroom when weather allowed it was blissful! Central AC and Heating (Yes heating! Our stay was in January) Owners are super responsive to all questions and the area around the home for food was within a mile. The Silver Dolphin had some wonderful breakfast. We ventured to Dunedin, Crystal River, and a lot of surrounding areas to peek at all offerings! Easy access to all. We will absolutely be back for a visit in the future!!

Beautiful and relaxing views with this property. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. We had all of the amenities we wanted, and even a few extra! ;)

This was our fourth time staying at Eagle’s Nest…and we enjoyed it this time as much as the first time. The views are incredible and truly what we call our “happy place.” The kids absolutely love playing in the pool, it’s a perfect size…my three girls can all play happily! This year we saw a manatee for the first time which was fun, but the best part is watching for dolphins every day. Even as an adult I still get excited to see them! Heather is always quick to respond anytime we need to communicate. The house is always cleanly, nicely decorated and creates a nice getaway place! We love to go to Pine Island beach about 10 minutes away, it’s private and small but perfect for the kids to play. We will continue to come back!! Thank you Tuttle family!

We came down to see the Weeki Wachee river and this house is very close. I wanted something on the water with a private pool and it literally felt like we were on our own private island. So relaxing and the large porches were our favorite place to be. Would definitely stay here again!

The view was stunning and each room is thoughtfully decorated and styled. The pool area and downstairs cabana room and bath are the shining star of the property.

We had an amazing time at the house. It was so clean and felt like home from the moment we arrived. We had cooler weather the week we were there, so the kayaks were a huge hit with me and my kids since swimming was a bit chilly. We saw beautiful sunsets each night as well as dolphins a few times. The neighborhood was very quite. We'd definitely love to stay here again.

My family reserved the house looking for a little something different for Christmas this year. We wanted to relax but have a location close enough to head south for a few beach towns and north to swim with the manatees in Crystal River. This location was perfect. We rented a pontoon a few days and swam in the Flats. That was amazing! We kayaked, fished & swam most of the time. Everyone had a space of their own. Heather was an excellent host. The house had everything we needed. We Loved it so much!

My husband, our twenty-something and teenage kids, and I loved this property! We actually canceled plans to spend more time biking, fishing off the dock, using the kayaks and paddle board, and swimming. The house is complete with everything you need. And, added bonus is we saw dolphins and manatees from our balcony every day!

The house was just as it was pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to do cooking. Beautiful views from all 3 porches. Great location to have a boat and play on the nearby sandbars or fishing around the mangroves right by the house. Very peaceful area with a couple of local places to get seafood. Nice relaxing pool with plenty of other recreation activities. The owner responded quickly and answered all our questions. Best place we've ever stayed through VRBO or other rental websites. Definitely looking to book again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Hernando. The house was plenty big enough for 6 adults, 1 child and 2 toddlers. The location was fantastic and we took advantage of being on the water. We brought 2 boats and they both fit at the dock. The Pelican marina down the street was perfect with a boat ramp and secure storage for the trailers at a bargain price of $45/week. Tropical Storm Fred threatened to spoil things at the beginning but we only had 2 days of rain and after that it was beautiful. The house had everything we needed and more - a big comfy couch, a kids table, high chair, toys and books, balconies overlooking the water for enjoying sunsets, kitchen was stocked (the only thing we needed was our food), the pool was used daily and we found lots of pool toys downstairs as well. The boys used the kayaks, we scalloped, visited the springs by boat and cruised the waterways. There are so many restaurants nearby and I think we tried them all. One fun place worthy of mention is called Sunwest Park in Hudson. Big spring fed lake with a shallow beach area for the little ones and a fun water obstacle course, wake boarding and more for the older kids and adults. Just remember to bring an umbrella and chairs. Heather was wonderful to work with and responded immediately to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again. One thing to mention is that there are a LOT of stairs so make sure you bring along some healthy young adults to help bring up your gear ;-)

The view was incredible, the beautifully decorated house and pool was perfect, and we saw dolphins every day while paddle boarding and kayaking with our 5 year old from the dock. Could definitely get used to that lifestyle. Not sure what else we could ask for from a short escape. Absolutely loved it and hope to share it with more family and friends again soon. This home is beautiful and the owners have done an amazing job decorating. The view of the water and preserve is incredible and you are just a short boat ride out to the Gulf. This place has it all.

Booked this spot for the beginning of Scalloping season 2021, for a 10-day trip and it did not disappoint. Hurricane Elsa left us with one 3 solid days of scalloping, but we had a great time. Highly Recomend.

Can honestly say this was our favorite family vacation. House was perfect, pool was amazing sunsets straight from a picture book. We caught fish off the dock, saw dolphins everyday and manatees. Hands down wonderful.
