Le lac de 134 acres est géré comme un étang à truites capturables et est stocké dans chaque année au printemps et à l'automne avec Brook, Brown, et la truite arc. Situé à seulement 15 minutes de Cape Cod et historique de Plymouth et à seulement 45 minutes de Boston et Providence, une myriade d'activités que vous et votre famille attendent.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage by the lake. It was perfect for our family of 6 that doesn’t want to rent 2 hotel rooms with a view of nothing special. Definitely felt like a family cottage rather than just a rental property.

Beautiful perch overlooking Big Sandy Pond. All the amenities necessary at hand including a well maintained gas grill. Was pleased to have an adequate and very quiet A/C system during one of the warmer weeks of the early summer season. Owner was quickly responsive to some initial day one questions. Dock at the waters edge in great shape. Only missing wished for extra, would have been a canoe or any means to float upon the pond. All in all a great overall cottage, setting & stay!

Perfect sized cottage overlooking beautiful pond. Owner was very responsive to questions and easy to work with. We came on a rainy/cold 4 day weekend so didn’t get to enjoy anything but the view. The property is clean and updated. Would definitely recommend and return.

We stayed for a few days in September while the weather was still nice and warm, we enjoyed the view and while neighbors are close the location is quiet and peaceful. Check in / check out was easy and the owner communicated directly, responded to questions quickly and made sure we had everything we needed.

This was a great lake house for our family to stay in. It seems much bigger than the description says it is. We had 4 adults and 2 kids under 10. All the trees around it made it feel very private. Back deck was perfect for lake views. It’s close to downtown Plymouth, Plymouth Patuext and whale watching. Fishing off the dock was super fun. The water is crystal clear and pretty warm, the kids swam all the time. House was fully stocked with all you'd need. Take advantage of the great weber gas grill while you are there.

We love this cabin. It’s a perfect location for us. The Kayak, the float and the noodle got lots of use. Minor problems were the sliding screen door, the leak and the shade in the twin bedroom but they did not detract from our overall stay

Cottage had beautiful view and was perfect for our needs. Owner was very friendly and called me when I had a question about the heating/cooling system. Only thing missing was a boat to go fishing in.

It was love at first sight as soon as I opened the door. I could immediately feel the stress melt away. The cottage was perfect, charming, welcoming, comfortable. Communication with Jeff was good. Loved the morning sunrises and missing them already. It was the perfect month long stay for me. Thank you so much and I hope to go back!

Being on Sandy Pond was amazing! Outside on back deck with sunshine on your face and at night, the stars, tree frogs, water…. It’s just perfect!
The house has everything you need and it’s super cozy and very clean!
Master bed is comfortable tempurpedic foam, lights, outdoor timed lights, all switches, appliances, nice to haves: bedside charger etc make it easy, intuitive and hassle free. It was cold but did 2 cold plunges in Sandy Pond (plunge = SUPER QUICK DIP 😂). The rental was precisely all I hoped for and would love to revisit in warmer months too.

Although I stayed in February watching the surmise over the water was still beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed and beds were cozy. If I’m ever back in Cape Cod, I’d stay again!

We had such a wonderful time at the lake. The facilities were more comfortable than I had expected. All rooms had air conditioning and each room had its own remote to control the temperature.
The dock offered great fishing and a nice perch in order to monitor my children as they swam. Also, a nice place for a glass of wine.
Kitchen very well supplied in terms of pots and pans and cutlery. I would return. Beautiful.

Another perfect stay on Big Sandy!
This is our 3rd stay renting this property and it never disappoints. The home is exactly as pictured and the large deck, dock, and views make the property amazing. Communication with the Lewis family was easy. Check in was simple. Neighbors are very kind and some even remembered us and our young son from last year. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a lake vacation spot. It is the perfect mix of quiet and peaceful but also extremely family friendly for fun beach days. We will definitely be looking to return next summer for our 4th year!

A Peaceful Haven on Big Sandy Pond
My husband and I spent a delightful week at this cottage, savoring the peace and the gorgeous lakeside location. Big Sandy is one of the Ponds of Plymouth, and the location couldn't be better for access to Cape Cod, Boston, Providence and the historic Plymouth harbor itself.
Being by the water has a healing effect, and we felt the stress just falling away as we settled in. The furnishings are homey rather than elegant. The bedrooms could perhaps use a refresh (in one, there are no shades, so the sun wakes you early; in the other, the shades are permanently down, so there's no light). But these are minor quibbles, because the lake view alone is worth the cost! The cottage is set in a lovely, woodsy neighborhood that is perfect for walks. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do take advantage of it! You won't be sorry.

Comfy & Cozy Cottage
My family enjoyed our weekend getaway @ this lovely cottage. It was perfect for our family of four. Beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly neighbors in lovely town. Communication with Jeff was excellent. The cottage is super comfy and the hosts have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this rental and look forward to renting again.

Just beautiful
The most perfect cottage for our getaway from the UK - we had unbelievable luck with the weather in April, the most stunning sunrises across the peaceful lake view and a lovely, well equipped , homely base from which to explore both Cape Cod and all that reaches towards Boston. Thank you Jeff and Karyn for being fantastic hosts and sharing your gorgeous home with us. We left a little of our hearts in Massachusetts.

Wonderful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Sunrises and sunsets are truly amazing. Home is clean and well stocked with anything you would need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

beautiful stay on Big Sandy
My family of 3 (me, my husband and our 1 year old son) had another great vacation at the Big Sandy cottage. The property is as pictured, but the views and peaceful setting from the deck and the dock are even better than the pictures show. We have vacationed at Big Sandy for years with my sister’s family who live a short walk from the cottage. This is our second stay at this location and we plan on returning again. Thanks so much! We truly enjoy making family memories here!

Just perfect!
We loved everything about the house and the area.
The best is for sure the deck and the lake access. It‘s so quiet and peaceful out there…..extra relaxing! The water around the boat dock was shellow enough that our kids could play there perfectly and enjoyed it so much.
The stay was beyond our expectations.
We would definitely come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and it’s surroundings. Clean but small(- as advertised)and was perfect for our needs. The lake itself is beautiful. Plymouth was a convenient spot for exploring and visiting family. The host promptly replied to any questions we had. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Best way to start the summer!
Such a nice and relaxing place! The view of the pond is beautiful. The water was easy to get into and very clear, made for fun to float and swim in. The house was super cute and had everything you needed. Most time was spent on the porch or dock by the water! Quiet and friendly neighbors. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back!

Quaint cottage.
Clean and quiet overlooking a beautiful lake with a dock! Did not have access to owners kayaks. 2 twin beds in one room and one queen in other. One bathroom. Didn't go up to the loft area (seemed hard to get to). Quick response from owner. Located 30 min from plymouth and 1 hr to provincetown depending on traffic. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Sandy Cottage. The views were spectacular and the neighbors were friendly. We loved being introduced to the bald eagle family living high in a local Pine. Wonderful visit!

Lovely setting on Sandy Pond
The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great view of the pond from the main area of the cottage. The upper deck is a large space with a good barbeque, comfortable and well kept furniture. There is a sitting area with furniture and a picnic table near the water. We spent most of our time on the upper deck. The pond was serene at this time if year. Enjoyed sunsets and evenings on the deck.

Very Relaxing! Great stay for our family.
Though this property is so close to the ocean, we felt content just staying at the cottage and swimming in the lake! It was a wonderful experience for our family. Our kids had a great time playing and fishing down by the water. This property allows great access to nearby beaches and provides the family with a safe place to swim in freshwater. We absolutely loved our stay.
