The apartment is located in a beautiful French country house with stylish furniture. The very nice landlady keeps the house in top condition. The outdoor facilities with pool are cleaned and freshly prepared every day. Even without air conditioning, the house is not too warm, even when the outside temperature is high. In the interior - especially in the kitchen - everything you need is there. The location is quiet and still close to the center. The distances to the bakery, pharmacy and supermarket are short. There is a parking space directly at the house. We had a wonderful summer vacation. The lovable and always helpful landlady, Armelle, should be emphasized. We'll be back for sure!

We had the best time at Armelle`s house. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and full equipped. The garden is perfect for a refreshing swim on hot summer days and relaxed dinners. Although it is centrally located it is very calm which makes it easy to relax. I absolutely recommend staying at Armelle`s and we will definitely return! Thank you again!

The property was very private and was fairly close to Cannes.It suited my wife, two daughters (aged 14 and 15) and myself. Ideally, it would be advisable to hire a car as the property is approximately two miles from the centre of Cannes. Cannes has a very good railway station and it is very easy to visit other places in the area such as Nice or Antibes. Armelle is a very pleasant, kind and polite host.

We had a very pleasant time with two kids (9 and 11) at Armelles Villa Yakasi. The 3 room apartement with 3 bathrooms is spacious and well equiped. Armelle thought even of the little things like anti mosquito plugs or swim toys for the kids. You have the lovely saltwater pool, which is cleaned every morning and terrace for yourself. Your host supports you with every issue and you feel very welcome. We started the days with fresh croissants from the bakery in 5 min walking distance. The place is in a quiet neighbourhood but you reach Cannes in 10 min by car and the airport in 30 min. The Wifi connection was perfect and we even had satelite Tv for the kids in the evening.Thank you again for this wonderful vacation. We can trouly recommend renting villa Yakasi. We are a family of 4 (2 boys at the ages of 7 and 9) and we have just spent 11 nights here. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a bathroom for each bedroom works perfect. We all loved the pool and the garden. It is very quied and private. The location of the apartment is perfect positioned for trips around southern France. Armelle was very helpful and we felt very welcome. We will definitely consider returning if we are going to Cannes another time.

We stayed for a week in August and had the most wonderful time. Armelle is very helpful, providing us with clear instructions on how to get to Le Cannet and a very warm welcome. The apartment is set in a quiet yet central location of Cannes and we felt at home immediately. It is very spacious, excellently furnished in relaxing style with plenty of space to spread out and relax. If you like cooking like we do you’ll love the very well equipped kitchen, it felt like a home from home as it has much more than could be expected for a holiday let, with lots of those unique pans, gadgets and a bountiful supply of utensils for cooking pretty much everything. Armelle even provided a range of basic necessities for our arrival. There are a number of good boulangeries very close by and each morning my stroll to for bread and croissants reminded me why I love being in france as you feel immediately integrated in this charming French suburb. Cannes is a wonderful location for access to the region and has a fabulously maintained promenade with excellent beaches. Le Plage des Sports is highly recommended for a beach restaurant if you want a day on the beach with a truly excellent lunch, parasols and chair seatings can be hired too and there you are right on the most beautiful beach with fabulous views of the bay area. Or choose to stroll along the prom or spend the day on one of the many beach/hotel fronts at Le Croissette in the centre of town. We spent many happy times too resting by the pool. We swim a lot and this pool, though only 8.5m has excellent water we in were in it as often as possible. Overall we had a superb time in Cannes much of which was due to the excellent location and relaxing atmosphere of Armelle’s apartment. We will definitely be back! Very highly recommended.

We have recently returned from a wonderful two weeks stay at Villa Yakasi which was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve ever had. We decided not to hire a car for our stay and this turned out to be a good decision as we spent so much time by the pool and when we did venture out an Uber was only 5 minutes away. The pool was great fun, very clean and especially loved by our 2 boys (age 12 and 13) There were a couple of good bakeries within 5 minutes walking distance and a decent supermarket within 10. The apartment was also very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Armelle was very welcoming on our arrival (even though it was very late) and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We are a family of two adults and two daughters of age 9 and 15. The upstairs appartment in Villa Yakasi was perfect for us having two bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms, dining room and VERY well equipped French kitchen. We loved to cook our breakfasts and few diners in the house, which was clean and decorated with good taste. A pool was clean and the size enough for our needs, we didn't spend very much time by the pool since the beaches of Cannes are close. We had a rental car during our 10 days stay which allowed us to discover the Côte d'Azur widely. Le Cannet is very pleasant small town close to A8 highway, having nice old town with restaurants, but old town is a bit far from the villa Yakasi. There was couple of boulangeries close to villa Yakasi so you may walk in the morning to get fresh baguette and croisants. There is also a good grocery store in walking distance. Villa is located in a hillside in a calm neighborhood. Streets are very narrow and oneway. The road from le Cannet towards Cannes is buzy and you cannot avoid staying in trafic jam due to several trafic lights. You may avoid trafic jam by taking a bus which seem to drive frequently, and they have own lane. Armelle was as kind as described in all review posts, we felt very welcome to her house. We appreciated cold water and other beverages in the fridge upon our arrival as well as salt, pepper, olive oil, toilet paper, washing machine tablets etc. We can truly recommend renting villa Yakasi and thank Armelle again for this opportunity to spend relaxing vacation at Côte d'Azur. After a long journey due to the inevitable flight delays. I arrived at Villa Yakasi and was greeted by Armelle at 23:00. It isn't a long journey from the airport and is in a great quiet location. I travelled around the area using Uber all of the time. The swimming pool was lovely and clean and the perfect temperature for the South of France heat! It was great to have wifi. The house is a lovely building and the beds were very comfy and I felt like I was at home as I stayed there two weeks. My friends who joined me loved it! For the younger people the bars etc nearby were great and everyone was very friendly! I look forward to meeting Armelle again in the near future to stay at her lovely apartment in Le Cannet.

Although we had a bit of a problem initially finding the place (they just made on of the roads a one way) once we arrived at Villa Yakasi, we were treated to a warm welcome form Armelle and with instructions on how everything worked. There were even some provisions provided so we did not have to rush out and get coffee for the morning. The Villa was much larger and better stocked than I imagined. Every possible kitchen utensil you wanted was there. We initially had not planned on eating much at the Villa but did cook a few dinners and this worked out well. If you are visiting the Cote d'Azur you can not find a better situated condo. Only 5 minutes from the AutoRoute and nicely situated half way between Monaco and St. Tropez. Every day we made different road trips to different towns. Some of the small village towns north of Cannes are incredible. We fortunately did not have any problems or questions and therefore did not see Armelle until we left. However, knowing that she was close by if there were any problems was reassuring. The Villa is very quiet and you will have a very restful sleep. We hope to return to Villa Yakasi soon. Reg Z.(Toronto)

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apt was roomy, clean, well stocked and comfortable. The owner is a lovely lady who is most helpful and went way out of her way to please us. The pool was marvelous and well taken care of. The back yard had comfortable furniture. My only complaint was that yard was not kept up well and over grown and needed some TLC. The major advice for the apt was a need for fans and screens as our stay was unseasonably hot and there was no escape from the heat or the nats especially at night.

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenager) haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der Villa Yakasi verbracht; Ein großzügiges Appartement, sehr persönlich eingerichtet und von ausreichend Handtüchern über Gelsenstecker bis hin zur Espressomaschine und einem mit Wellcome-drinks gefüllten Eiskasten ausgestattet, war von der ersten Minute alles für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt von der sympathischen Hausbesitzerin vorbereitet. Un sejour parfait!

VILLA Yakasi was a perfect base for our family's weeklong stay on the Cote d'Azur. Easy to walk to the Palais (25 minutes - downhill!) and a bus that ran up and down every 15 minutes or so for 1E50 if you didn't want to walk. Renting a car was great - private parking spot right in front of the house. Armelle is super helfpul and considerate, yet totally hands-off and discrete. Pool is small but sparkling - see my photos. Very close to the A8 (less than 5 minutes), yet up a residential hilly street so you had total peace and quiet. 8 minute walk to the great grocery story (E. Leclerc) and two fabulous bakeries (one open 7am - 8 pm every day including Sunday). My family wants to stay a month next time (kids age 10/12).

I can't exactly recall how many times we have returned, but it's quite a lot. We think of Armelle's villa as our home away from home. It's very comfortable, has a very good kitchen with everything you need, and it's location is very good and quiet. Access to Cannes is simple, whether you walk or drive. We also thoroughly enjoy Armelle's company and sense of humour.

Armelle,who is a supercozy lady, has a really nice Villa. It`s even better than the pictuers show:-) We rented her house for 2 weeks this summer. And it was a perfect and quiet place for our family. We stayed there with our 2 kidz, 5 and 9 years old. And they had a great time in the swimming pool. The house is well equitted and had everything we needed.And the walk into Cannes city is not long... ( ca 25 minutes). It is also possible to take a bus. The bus stop is right down the road:-) We had a really great time in Armelles house, and would not hesitate to come back in the future.

We started most days with breakfast and a dip in the pool. Then it was off to one of the coves, beaches, near by cities, golf courses, etc. relaxed and ready for the hustle and bustle. Returning to the peaceful relaxed house at the end of the day was something to look forward to (another dip in the pool!) Obviously we can't say enough about the house, really nice. It is well equipped with everything you need. The WiFi works great. Having our two teenagers’ bedroom on the other side of the house was a plus too! But for me the best thing was the easy access to the highway for traveling to other spots. The access to Cannes and its shopping, beaches, restaurants etc. was just as easy. Simply a great location. It seems tucked away but you will easily get your bearings by the second day. Armelle went out of her way to insure we were taken care of. She really took an interest us as her guests and was really concerned that everything was perfect. Thanks Armelle! We would definitely stay here again.

This villa in Le Cannet, just north Cannes, provides the epitome of gracious Cote d'Azur living. Our stay during late March was delightful in a setting of sumptuous beauty and peace. Because the villa is walled, it became our island of tranquility and our base from which we explored the French Riviera from St. Tropez to Menton. The amenities were comfortable, with a good bed, an efficient kitchen complete with espresso maker, large refrigerator and stove and a good internet connection. Our hostess provided all the help we needed to get settled and find a grocery story (and even dinner to order in), and helpfully translated when my basic French was inadequate. The town surrounding the villa is charming and provides shops to meet all our needs during our week away from home. We rented a car and recommend other visitors do so. Highly recommended!

I stayed one week with my daughter and granddaughter at this place. Everything that was offered was there and I only have good things to say about Armelle, the owner. She was always so helpful and nice. The place was just what we wanted, a tranquil getaway but at the same time just a short walk down the hill to the city. If you do not want to walk too much, a bus will take you to the boulevard de la Croisette where you'll find all kind of restaurants and shop to your heart's content. We also loved that the property is so well maintained.The apartment was a lot more spacious than I imagined and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely I recommend the place I we are thinking of returning, maybe for a longer stay. Thank you, Armelle, again

Un endroit parfait pour recharger ses batteries dans le magnifique jardin ou la piscine de la propriété ou encore dans le grand salon avec son comptoir bar, après de belles journées à explorer Cannes et ses environs (les Iles de Lérins, Nice, Beaulieu-sur-mer et autres endroits enchanteurs). Un hâvre de paix loin de l'agitation de la ville et pourtant accessible à pied ou en bus. Lieu parfait pour des nuits de rêve au son des étoiles et un réveil en douceur avec les oiseaux enchanteurs qui partagent le jardin avec vous.

A lovely villa and a very warm welcome! We spent a week at the villa in September 2012 and really enjoyed it. It is very well placed to visit Cannes as well as the rest of the Cote d'Azur. We easily drove to Monaco. Nice, St Tropez and Grasse. Armelle is the owner and a really lovely person who greeted us with a warm welcome and helped plan any visit or gave advice on locations, places to visit etc. It is her family home so is as well looked after and comfortable as you would expect. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you would need for a holiday. It is an easy walk or easier drive to shops so we were able to have fresh bread and croissants each morning! It is also a quite place to relax with a great pool and garden surrounded my modern furniture and cool places out of the sun if required. I would recommend the villa either for a couple to have a quiet time together or for a small family. My final recommendation ......I would definately go back!

After looking at 20 thousand pages on internet we just got lucky. When we saw the pictures of Villa Yakasi we really liked them, so we wanted to be there. But in reality what we found far exceeded our expectations. When the owner Armelle opened the garden door and warmly welcomed us it felt immediately like coming home. Armelle is just such a person that you feel instantly comfortable with. The villa was as expected gorgious, calm and comfortable, with an original French touch. Our 10 year old daughter was in the pool after just about 10 minutes. This became a common routine while we were drinking our champagne on the romantic balcony. In the evening we were enjoying our dinners with the doors open overlooking the flowered garden. All we needed to prepare these dinners was abundantly available. For relaxation after that we sat down on the couch in the living room and watched the giant flat screen with humming crickets in the background. The location was an excellent starting point for our little trips in the environment. We can only wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place for you to experience the same.

We are two middle aged couples, travelling together to interresting locations. This time we targeted on Cote d'Azur. I found this villa on internet and get into touch with Armelle. After arrival, we just open our eyes wide. Beautiful and quiet place with old tree, garden and large pool was fantastic. And as we went through appartment, we felt like home immediatelly. Fully equipped kitchen and big screen TV were just completing the whole picture. Perfect position above Cannes was ideal for our day trips around. But the best of all was the owner - Armelle. Friendly and smiling all the time, we felt much more like visiting the friends, than a renting the vacation flat. Thank You Armelle and hope we will manage it to come back. These 9 days were one of our best trips and it is because of You and Your villa Yakasi.
