Short trip to Mammoth Cave with grandkids. Location on the lake was just beautiful and relatively close to the National Park. It would have been much closer if the ferry had been running (down for repairs). The cabin had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the sitting out on huge deck and taking in the peaceful views of the water. The owners were more than helpful and especially gracious to mail us some items the grands left behind!

We really enjoyed our time at Lakeside Dreams. It was quiet and peaceful. The water levels are down quite a bit in the winter so may want to check that out if you plan to use the lake much but our kids had fun skipping rocks into the lake nonetheless. The property was clean and as advertised. Our only snag was that we didn't receive the door code and upon arrival had trouble getting into the home for a few mins. This was quickly corrected by a fast response from the property manager.

Wonderful stay. Very nice and spacious cabin with large deck and excellent view. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Mammoth Cave National Park.

Love this sweet rental better than renting some big new home . This one is just perfect.

Plenty a bathrooms, comfortable beds.

We stayed here for a 3 night girls get away trip. It was the mid point meeting up with friends from Georgia and us from northern Indiana. We never left the property and stayed busy playing games, talking, crafting and eating. It was a great place to do everything we had planned.

Beautiful water view from the house and we all had a blast! Huge covered deck was really nice to relax and take it all in!

We were looking for a house for 3 adults and kids 15,11 and 7. This worked great! Kids loved the game room and parents loved sitting out on the deck with the view. Walk to the lake is pretty steep but we only went down once. We spent the day at Mammoth Caves and just the evenings at the house. Comfy chairs by the fire would of been a nice bonus but otherwise this house was very nice. The had a very simple checkout process posted on the fridge. Quick and easy to leave. Driving up the driveway could ve scary in the rain/ice but we had good weather and no issues.

Beautiful house... beautiful location! The bedrooms were great for our family of 5 with 2 boys & 1 girl. The playroom/sunroom was a great addition when indoors. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The outside patio was the best place to hang out for us ...we ate all our dinners outside!!! It is a bit hard to find...try to get there while its still day outside. Called the owner and she helped us immediately!

4 stars - could have been a little cleaner and more updated - otherwise met our needs well

The house is well equipped and comfortable. Make sure to stop at the store on the way in, or travel a bit to go back out. Very quiet area to relax and enjoy some down time. Thanks for sharing! Gail L

The only complaint is the very steep driveway, otherwise it was a beautiful place to stay.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the beautiful early mornings at sunrise with a cup of coffee overlooking the lake! Great place to stay!

Had a wonderful weekend at this house. Enjoyed family time and lake time. Very busy lake traffic due to holiday but still had a great time. Took our kayaks and was able to leave on rocky shore so we wouldn’t have to carry up and down each day. House had everything you need to have a great time. All you need is to make sure you bring groceries since there isn’t many stores nearby. Loved the huge front porch overlooking the lake.

This property was great. The walk to the lake was nicer than most of the other places I've been to. The property host's were fantastic. I definitely recommend staying here.

This home suited us very well, was clean, had all the amenities we expected with a spacious living room where we could gather. Beautiful deck and view. Were primarily visiting to see the caves, party of 6 adults made renting a house more economical. Was about 40 minutes to anywhere on curvy hilly roads, but we made it to all the sites we wanted to visit.

Beautiful lake view. Property was close to all the caves we wanted to tour and there were plenty of nice places to eat near Cave City and Park City. Nice relaxing weekend.

What we loved: The lakefront setting was peaceful and lovely. The deck. Well-equipped kitchen. A bathroom for each bedroom. Convenient to Mammoth Cave and Lake Nolan Parks. What could be better: The sofas are worn out, stained and not comfortable. Some of the beds had memory foam toppers, which are softer than we prefer.

The view and deck were amazing. Check-in was simple and fast. The property has everything listed in the add. Clean. The TV is big and super! My observation is that theThere is a very strong musty smell, especially in the kid's play room. The living room furniture is old and not comfortable and the kitchen chairs are metal. The basics are provided but do not expect any extras. Be prepared to wash dishes. No dishwasher. In defense however one is not listed.

We weren't really at the property much. The house was perfect size for our party of 6, I think that having 8 people there would be too much. Was a little disappointed that the lake in the front of the house was hard to access but overall a pleasant stay.

Great view and really nice house on the lake. The owners were very easy to work with and price was fair. Might go back in the summer for a fishing trip.

My family and I stayed here while visiting relatives. We really enjoyed this cabin. The view was spectacular, especially with bare trees not blocking the lake. Plenty of space for everyone. The back deck area was our favorite. The kitchen had everything needed for meals. The living area had comfy furniture and a huge TV. Three large bedrooms provided plenty of sleeping space, however, the mattress in the bedroom with the shower bath attached was too soft for my spouse. He did find the couch comfy for sleeping, though. Bathrooms were clean. The shower stall is a tight fit for adults. We did not use the sunroom at the front, since it was a bit chilly and had a musty smell. Overall, the cabin was a great place to stay. My only concern was that the photos and description do not convey how steep the driveway is. There is also a drop-off at the end of the parking area. We did not have any problems getting in or out, thankfully we had a backup camera.

I rented this place for a getaway with my daughters and nieces. The space was perfect for us and the scenery was stunning. Great hosts! I recommend arriving before dark if possible!!

The cabin and surroundings were beautiful. Nolin Lake is amazing. Property was awesome. Cabin was a little dirty (floors, dusty, etc.), but nothing we couldn’t take care of ourselves. Would stay here again!!

This is a nice place. It is easy to get to, there is a dollar general nearby, it has all of the basics. My suggestion to other guests is to bring additional bedding materials. There were no extra blankets and only one extra pillow. In addition I would bring some additional trash bags there were only a few available. And make sure you have all your shampoos and conditioner. This really is a quaint and quiet place with a beautiful view. You won't be disappointed.
