We enjoyed our stay at Cristas rental property. We did feel the listing was misleading in saying you have the space to yourself. The family has their trailer right outside the front door. There are a number of trailers and other equipment on the property. It didn’t feel like a quite secluded cabin in nature but like you were in someone’s home who was there. There was a fair amount of noise from kids playing around house and generator running. The home itself was exactly as picture - big open space, partial ocean view, suite has everything you need.

This property does not feel like a rental property; it is a lovely, clean, comfortable home that has everything you need for a short or long term stay with the added bonus of in suite laundry. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be pleasantly surprised when they open the door to find that the property surpasses expectation. Having such great accommodations will only add to the wonderful memories of the time spent on Galiano for my daughter's wedding. Thanks for sharing your home Christa :)

Thank you Christa for hosting us in such a beautiful and peaceful place. The space is on the upper level of the house and was so comfortable to be in for our family, and appreciate that we could bring our doggies there as well. Beach access close by is a bonus. Christa responded quickly to questions we had and made us feel at home. We look forward to coming there again.

This is our 4th time staying at Christa's place. We love the lodging, views, location, quiet etc. everything is as good as last time. Def recommend it everyone. Christa is very patient, helpful and lovely to be with.

Second time visiting Galiano and staying here is a major part of our return because we knew how much relaxing it is. Tastefully and practically furnished, quiet, near to the water and Christa is so welcoming - we hope to make it an annual trip which speaks for itself.

Stayed here for family wedding. Check in was good as host allowed us to check in early, although there were no check in instructions, but the doors were open. No wifi instructions and cell coverage bad but host gave wifi password via text msg. Kitchen dishes well stocked, but hand soaps in kitchen and bathrooms seemed to be all filled with water. Used iron but it sprayed black on our white shirt for wedding, so ended up buying an iron at hardware store. Colored towels smelled funky. We triple checked as we always do-- cleanliness and items we may have left behind, all is good and aside from linens and towels, all was left in same condition as we arrived. As we made our travels back home, the hosts messaged and said her lamp was broken at base and can no longer stand up. We did not break ANYTHING and if we did, we certainly are not the type of people to cower away without saying anything. Host proceeded to ask for payment - either etransfer to her USA account or thru VRBO. Host required to provide picture of said broken lamp. Her picture was of a lamp, outside at bottom of staircase. TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS AND VIDEO'S; OTHERWISE YOU MAY BE OUT $125 FOR "BREAKING BASE OF LAMP"

Wonderful location with a gorgeour view, especially of the sunrise. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

The home had everything you needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms very comfortable and quiet. The host was very helpful with island information.

We had a fantastic time! Great location and welcoming host. Great spot for two families. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a lovely stay as part of our Mayne and Galiano islands bike trip, the home and setting is as beautiful, tastefully furnished and outfitted as presented on the website, didn't lack for anything! Wonderful open design, high ceiling, ++windows and great deck. Hosts were excellent with communications and arrangements. Close to the ocean, quiet country road, forest setting, highly recommended:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. As it turned out, it was even nicer than what the VRBO ad listed. Our host Christa went out of her way to ensure that we had the best experience possible on this wonderful island. We would definitely recommend this home and would absolutely come back! (Also the wifi was really excellent)

Christa was an exceptional host! We felt right at home in their quiet neighborhood. Everything we could've wanted was provided (including some choice extras like a jacuzzi tube in the ensuite!). All in all a great base from which to explore the natural majesty of our favorite gulf island. Would recommend.

There were 4 of us staying here. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy and the host was helpful. The pricing was a bit confusing as it didn't say the price per night is based on double occupancy so when we booked for 4 people, there was an additional guest charge. However, the place was still great. Galiano Island is a beautiful island with so many shore access trails to hike. We would definitely come here again and stay at Arrowsrun.

The property was comfortable, clean and as shown in the pictures...we felt right at home:) The kitchen was well stocked. We had a great time at our accommodations and on Galiano. Highly recommend renting mopeds from Frank at Galiano Adventures!!!

We had a super comfortable stay at Christa’s place! She was kind and friendly and the house is stunning. Waking up in the comfy, huge bed to the view of the sunrise through the trees and the sea was so SO nice. Great kitchen, cozy living room, a peahen visited us on our way out… 100% recommend!

Our stay was amazing!! The pictures shown on the listing do not do the suite justice! Everything about it was great. It was warm and cozy. It was also our first time on Galiano. Christa was a great host! We were lucky enough to cross paths. She was super friendly and down-to-earth. Any questions we had about the island she was able to answer. What an amazing stay with Christa. Easily accessible and quiet area of island with a great beach access to enjoy the sunsets! We explored for four days - our host spent time and explained what we should see and visit — the ridges the bays the beaches and the bluffs and always nice to come back and sit on the deck at end of afternoon. Well appointed and large apartment- super comfy beds, great kitchen fully equipped with quality cooking utensils and nice dishes — obviously a lot of care and thought out into making this a great stay. Beautiful property! Very close to beach. Saw a beautiful sunset there. Only recommendation would be to make sure blinds are installed in the big front windows.

Loved this property, the location and the island of Galiano. Communication was great and the property is beautiful. Close to the water and near to everything that Galiano has to offer.

We have stayed at quite a few rentals over the years and this is by far the nicest! The furnishings and feel of the place were welcoming the moment we walked in and it’s so light and comfy we had to kick ourselves out to explore! However once we did, the very near by beach was lovely to visit at all times of the day but especially at sunset. The kitchen and barbecue were great to use and everything was clean. We also sat out on the deck a lot when we were there. Christa was very helpful when needed but otherwise gave us total privacy. Totally recommend as a wonderful, laid back sanctuary! On Galiano we really enjoyed kayaking, walking, and some of the lovely spots to eat - the cinnamon buns we got at the bakery before catching the ferry were HUGE. We have pretty full on lives with a lot of responsibility at home so most of all we genuinely just enjoyed being at this wonderful home which was so easy to relax in.

We loved the location with the beach access and sunsets so close by. The suite was beautifully decorated with everything that you need to cook your own meals. Great place to stay with family (we stayed in the upper suite) or a couple of single parents with their child(ren), as there are two bedrooms, bathrooms and living room areas. Christa is a great host and has great suggestions for places to go during your stay. We’ll be back!

This was a lovely and cosy upper suite of a home in Galiano. Crista was a great host, she gave us a lot of tips re places to visit & was very friendly and inviting. Close to amazing beaches and grocery store. Well stocked kitchen, Make sure to carry all your oils, herbs etc. Price listed for the space was a bit misleading, came to quite a bit more once you add everything up. I would definitely stay here again, it was very comfortable. It was great chatting with the host, she is great.

Clean, comfortable home, it has everything needed to make your stay pleasurable. We loved the location, close to beaches and the many hikes on the Island. Trees on the property made it very pleasant and kept the place cool. We all loved our time here and will most likely return. Hostess is very helpful, and has a very good knowledge of the Island. I give it five stars.

We stayed in upper 2 floors and loved the house to the very detail. There were so much space and light, everything was thought of. Christa was very helpful too.
