I’ve rented many homes and this was hands down one of the best. The neighborhood was charming and rustic and felt like we were in a fairy tail. The house was SUPREME CLEAN, had every amenity you could need and more. Furnishings were neat, clean, and fresh. Beds were incredibly comfortable and you don’t often get that in a cabin. The owner, Donna, was very responsive to our questions and is a sweetheart. The property was landscaped to a tee. We loved the giant fire pit, the porch swing, hammock, and comfortable seating for all. Our walks through the dirt roads were very peaceful. Lancelot Lake was a winner! Only a couple minute walk from the cabin. Great swimming, warm water, tons of wildlife. This place is one in a million and Ive already recommended it to many friends. Thank you Donna for your hospitality!!! I’ll definitely be back.

Being together as a family without the distractions of everyday life was what we needed to regroup and enjoy each other. Thank you!

We had a great stay at this property. It is in a very quiet neighborhood close to a couple ponds and it was an easy walk to both. The owner has an ample amount of firewood next to the fire pit which was convenient. The drive to get to restaurants and towns is a nice drive through the mountains. We stayed here as we went to a concert at Tanglewood which was an easy 25 minute commute. There was no air conditioning but with the large fan provided kept in front of the slider kept a nice cross breeze going through the house. Communicating with the owner was seamless. It was a great place to stay if you're looking for that outdoorsy, back to nature, relaxing experience. There are many state parks and hiking trails in the area as well as quaint, small towns. We would definitely stay here again.

Just the right ‘big enough’ size. Clean, comfy and has just about anything you might need. Small swimming pond right down the road.

A very nostalgic and cozy little set-up with beautiful woods and ponds nearby. Note there is no A/C so humidity should be considered.

We had a wonderful, relaxing 10th anniversary at this cabin. We were able to sit and sip tea and coffee and take our time reconnecting and planning for the future. The neighborhood was a treat to walk around, and we enjoyed sitting at the lake. We had some fun watching a movie and playing catch with some of the outdoor toys Donna provided. The bed in the loft provided the best sleep we've ever had on a vacation! Thank you for a cozy, homey retreat! (One evening we went out to Chester Common Table for dinner. Nice place with a humble but varied menu. Plenty of gluten-free options.)

This A-Frame House is perfect. It's cozy and beautiful. Has everything you need. It was the absolute perfect way to spend a few days away from the madness and disconnect. Would definitely come back for a longer stay. Thank you Donna!

My friend and I rented this cabin to have a few peaceful days away fand it was perfect. The cabin is adorable, the outdoor space was peaceful, and the place was very clean. It's a quiet neighborhood with friendly residents. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cozy getaway.

We really enjoyed the silence also so nice to take peaceful walks and enjoy nature! The fires were nice to sit by at night we even got to say hello to a night visitor a owl who came by to say hello! We had a little problem with the grill we forgot to mention some of the burners would not fully light but we did bring charcoal even though you could still cook on the gas grill! This place has everything you need and so cozy♥️ loved and will return

Lovely 3 night stay. During periods of rain, we enjoyed having a selection of provided movies and games. We appreciated little extra touches such as fire starters, basic pantry items, extra pillows, blankets. Great location being so close to many quaint "downtown" areas of beautiful Berkshire towns. The A-frame was very clean and comfortable! Thanks Donna.

This was the perfect relaxing weekend. This A Frame has everything, clean and in a peaceful and beautiful location. All we heard were the sounds of nature. We made a nice fire and took a walk to the lake. We have stayed here before and once again, this did not disappoint. Donna is an amazing host and takes excellent care of her home and makes sure you have everything you need when you stay here. Thank you Donna for letting us stay here again !!

We had a great time here! So close to everything but very peaceful and surrounded by nature.

On the positive side, I was happy to be able to have my dog. This is a very clean and obviously well cared for rental. The kitchen was the best stocked i've ever seen! It also had lots of refrigerator and freezer room.The location was good. Instructions and contact with the owner were excellent. For me however this rental didn't work so well. It is very musty. Also, the bedding was very fragrant, and I am allergic to perfumes. Because there was only 1 tiny window up in the loft that one could leave open when out it was not ideal for me.(There were big screens on the sliding glass windows but these were pretty flimsy and didn't lock.) Fortunately i brought my own bedding and there were some older less scented quilts I found the second day and was able to use under my bedding lessening (though not eliminating) reactions. the cottage did have several large free standing fans and one overhead that were helpful. My number one suggestion for the owner would be to use a non toxic, non perfumed detergent. Two, replace the upstairs window with a more substantial one, and screens down stairs with sturdier locking ones. Three, deal with mold problem on roof. Four put a brighter overhead light in the bedroom. Five, put some hooks near the door for hanging coats or rain gear. Six, declutter some of the closets/drawers - there was very little space to hang or store stuff since most of the closet and drawers were full. Likely others will be more able to enjoy the charm of the place

We were just looking for a nice quiet place to stay for a couple of days mid week and this place was just what we needed. Clean, quiet, and everything was as it was described.

The little A frame was very cute, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Donna's A-Frame in the Sherwood Forest is everything my wife and I were looking for with a weekend getaway in the Berkshires. The location was no more than a 30 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go over the course of the weekend. Better still, it is secluded and quiet in a peaceful dense forest. The outdoors space was spacious, with easily enough room for 2 vehicles and up to 6 adults. The area was well manicured for being in a forest, and the firepit was excellent. Inside the cabin, we found everything we needed for the weekend including filtered water, dishware, pillows, blankets, fire starters, marshmallow sticks, fresh towels, and a variety of small kitchen appliances. The cabin uses its small space very effectively, and we never felt cramped. I would gladly return here for another long weekend stay.

The place is as advertised. A few extras like fire starters for the fire pit were nice. We enjoyed the place and would consider it again.

A frame has everything you need, we also took advantage of the floats in the bin on the deck and enjoyed the lake! Will definitely be back 👍
