We loved our stay here! Multi-generational family and all had a great time. Beach view, easy access, great pool, very safe and clean. Uncrowded beach but with multiple restaurants walking distance along the sand (recommend Robertos!). Great communication with the property managers. We really loved our stay and hope to be back.

Family for SB, great location and our opinion the condo you want. Plenty of space for five people, kitchen stocked all you need. Pool is quiet and beach is calm. Plenty of places on beach to eat, we ate Roberto’s and Aqua the most. Grocery store 5 minute drive from condo. Easy drive from LLIR. We left condo, dropped rental and were at the gate in one hour. Had beach chairs and plenty towels for beach/pool. Already sent to friends to stay here.

The check in process was very smooth, we were met at the property, there was a gift basket of snacks for us at the condo as well. The home is stocked with any and everything you will need for a beach vacation. It shows that the owners love and care for this home. Beautiful furnishings, high quality and well maintained. There was nothing negative I can mention. An absolutely amazing property.

Lovely trip, beautiful sunsets, online listing doesn’t do this place justice. Well-equipped. Make sure to get a massage from Maria on the beach - we each got two! Great beach for walking and swimming. Grounds/pool were well kept.

This location and property was amazing - the view was so worth it! Spectacular! It was also very well appointed and comfortable with lovely decor. The neighbouring property (not Sol y Mar) has a security alarm (siren) that goes off at intervals during the night (probably set off by an iguana) - so hopefully this gets rectified soon. The property is steps from the ocean with a view like none other. Just stunning. We highly recommend!

Nice, spacious 3 bed/3 bath beachfront unit in a small complex on a quiet part of Playa Hermosa. Location and view cannot be beat! 2nd floor patio is large with dining table, plenty of seating and a bbq grill. The beach is a stones throw away and main bedroom and living room/kitchen have patio access/beach view. Loved falling asleep to the ocean waves, drinking coffee out on the patio, and sunset swims! Playa Hermosa is a lovely clean beach with many restaurants a quick walk down the beach--loved Roberto's for dinner and Hotel El Volero for Taco Tuesday (wear bug spray). Ocean is calm and there are jet ski/boat vendors along the beach. Condo had everything you need and was comfortable except the bedroom pillows were hard. The condo has lots of nice beach decor, but it may be too much clutter for some. Not a fan of the many photos of other guest. Odd that the protective coating on the stainless oven had not been removed. Dishwasher worked but looks corroded inside. Adjacent unit was being remodeled and we heard nonstop hammering all day, which on the first day there trying to sleep after a night flight, was miserable! We had issues with the water pressure and temperature during the day likely due to the construction. We should have been advised of the construction before booking, and at a minimum offered a discount. Unfortunate. Despite these issues, still a great stay and would likely return!

We were absolutely blown away by the property, the area, the scenery, and the great people we met. July/August turned out to be the perfect time - the “off” season wasn’t off at all. We had great weather and tons of privacy and perfect weather. This is one of the best trips we’ve taken!

I cannot recommend this property enough. The location is great, the amenities are first rate. Easy drive from the airport. We can't wait to go back. The beach is amazing, some great restaurants either walking distance or within 10 minutes in Playa Coco. Lot's of activities and tours. We did a snorkel tour and they picked us up on the beach outside the condo.

This was our first stop of three during our visit to the pacific coast. By far, this place was the best! Plenty of towels, anything you’d need in the kitchen, comfortable beds, tv in every room.
The unit itself is gorgeous- inside and outside! We got up at 7:00am each morning and swam in the calm waters of Hermosa. We did a sunset sail with Kuna Vella- highly recommend!!
Breakfast and Taco Tuesday at Hotel Velero (5 min walk on beach to get there)- Joshua is the best!
Visit Abraham at Coco Viquez- such a nice man- gave us each some of his “rice pudding” (warm and not as thick as we know rice pudding to be)- a family recipe for generations.
The property management was also top notch! Gustavo was kind and patient, answering many questions when we arrived and easy to communicate with during our entire stay. Simply 5 star all around! Thank you to everyone!!

From the moment we landed in Costa Rica our concierge Gustavo was in touch with us. We rented our car and drove to the properly easily using Google maps. He met us there with smiles, and a warm welcome! Our fridge was stocked with the grocery order I had placed a week prior. He gave us a map and showed us the lay of the land. The security guards at the gate were very kind, and I felt very safe. We have four children ages 14, 13, and twins that are 11. There was plenty of room in the spacious property for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need and a welcoming basket of treats was there for us when we arrived as well. Play air Mosa is a tranquil part of the beach and lovely to take walks in the mornings, especially. We were able to see monkeys on our morning stroll! Several cute and quaint restaurants in the area as well. We especially like to taco Tuesday at El Velero, which was a few minute walk down the beach from the condo. Watching sunsets from the front porch quickly became a Family favorite every evening and falling asleep listening to the waves could not have been more relaxing. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gustavo and staff for allowing us to make an amazing vacation memory!

This condo was the perfect set up for our family of four. The main bedroom is in the front and overlooks the ocean. The other two bedrooms were perfect for our kids in the back (ages 13 and 10). Everyone had their own bathroom! The owners thought of everything- from beach stuff to towels to sunscreen. The deck has the most gorgeous view of the ocean. If you haven’t been, this beach is lovely. Quiet and laid back, with good restaurants to walk to. We will be back!

This condo is outstanding! The owners obviously have put in a lot of care and attention to make not only a comfortable home for themselves but a welcoming vacation property for guests. It’s all in the details - well equipped kitchen, great storage, hooks to hang your belongings in each room, comfortable beds in each room, so many creature comforts!
The layout of this condo is perfect for a family. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. We spent a lot of time on the front deck overlooking the ocean. Lots of comfortable furniture for everyone to take in the sunset.
The property management company is excellent - very responsive and helpful. I wish every vacation property was this comfortable and this well run!

The place was great. We would sit on the front porch and watch the sunset. Beautiful. Not a great walker but yes you could walk to the different restaurants without any problems. Everything was clean and the washer and dryer was good so we could go home with clean clothes. The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our vacation.

Excellent location just steps away from the beach. This home is special. Luxurious comfortable interior with absolutely everything that you need. The view from the balcony was outstanding and we loved being able to relax and eat meals with the ocean right there. The location is perfect. There are several great restaurants and bars just a short walk on the beach. You can even get a massage. We definitely plan on returning here.

This place is better in person than the pictures! The beach and pool area were very quiet and not crowded at all. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Everything in the condo was in good working condition and it has everything you will need for kitchen utensils and linens. They even have pool and beach equipment to use! There are multiple restaurants in walking distance. The surrounding area felt very safe. I would not hesitate to rent again if we return to this area.

I'm not the Playa Coco or Tamarindo type of person - so if you want to stay on a beach and be somewhat close to that but not have to deal with all the time Playa Hermosa and this property was great. Stayed there with my 2 teens - so it was a bonus for them to each have their own room. But also could have fit 3 couples easily as well. We struggled to find what we considered good food - but highly recommend the jet ski tour with Berny. The concierge recommended by check in did not ever return our call so I recommend figuring it out yourself. ANd most we found on our own were far less expensive that Tico. Other than that (and I really wasn't even expecting help with that) was lovely !!! plenty of beach towels, sunscreen and anything in the kitchen, for the beach and laundry we needed.

Fabulous condo
We were met at the condo by the property manager to go over maps of the area including restaurants, grocery stores, etc. He also went over tv instructions. The condo was in a great location, close to great restaurants within walking distance if desired. It was clean and also very spacious with three of us staying there. Pool was fabulous as well as the view from our balcony. We even saw monkeys in the trees across the street which was amazing! The only problems we had is that the hot tub was not working which would have been lovely with some of the weather we had and the water pressure in the master shower was non-existent especially if you were showering at the same time as someone else in the condo. For future renters, the drinks at Foodnication were fabulous, great food (tapas) at Ginger, and great pizza at El Marino. I would recommend a car because the best grocery store was Auto Mercado in Playa del Coco. The manager called it the “American grocery store.” It had local foods but also a better selection of foods that you would see in an American grocery store (hence the description). ;) Altogether, a great trip! Would definitely stay again.

Great Family vacation
We had an amazing family trip with my wife and three adult daughters. This condo is in a great location with easy access to several amazing adventures. I would definitely recommend renting a car, as there are so many amazing things just about an hour away. Of course there are also a lot of great restaurants and a beautiful beach but out your back door. I would definitely recommend this beautiful beach condo.
