So happy we chose this rental. We brought our own boat from VA. The marina is literally next door, opposite canal side from row of boathouse. The elevator/lift made bringing in luggage a breeze- carts available too. Close walk to town and on quiet street. Super comfortable furnishings, clean and fresh rooms towels linens, nautical touches throughout you really feel immersed in ‘The River’ life. The river and area cannot be justly described, it’s truly stunning. Hopefully you bring a boat, if not, a boat tour is a must to fully appreciate The 1000 islands. Boldt Castle was a worthy visit and this location could not be any easier to boat over and dock at castle or restaurants if you prefer float over feet! The men came to fish for smallmouth bass. The river is crystal clear; you can see bottom even at 25 ft deep, and it’s quite a sight to see the catch. There were always pretty little blue tail baitfish by the boathouse too. Geese, loons, heron, ducks, kayaking or lounging in balcony deck plenty of wildlife to admire. I did plenty of shopping in town, unplanned but couldn’t pass unique items for birthdays showers Christmas gifts. There’s much more than just touristy tee shirts. The museum is bigger than it appears and the staff are longtime locals, friendly and fun to hear interesting detail how the opulent life arrived in the islands. A week wasn’t enough time. We will be back and this rental is where we would choose again and again !

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was not what I expected when staying on the water, but perhaps that was my expectation. It looked over a small water way, with a run down house just across the water with trash (old tires and furniture on the lawn). We just chose to look to the left instead of straight across. It was right before the start of the season so they were prepping the boat slips which was fun to watch. We enjoyed the town and liked that it was close by.

The Villa is perfect for a small family - super clean, not far from Alex Bay, and just a short drive down to Clayton. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Superb experience all the way around! Communication, cleanliness, view, boat house, size of the place. This is our second time visiting the harbor villas. There is a convenient marina right across the inlet to launch your boat or jet ski.

The property was overall great and close to many things via boat or car. It was also especially nice that the launch was across the marina with trailer parking which made the entire process easy. We went most places by boat despite it being a little cloudy a few days. Laura was an amazing host and checked in on us throughout the stay to see if we needed anything via txt. Great property for the 4 of us (3 teen age kids 1 adult)

Lauren is a great host: quick responses and great recommendations. House is very clean, well appointed, great location and comfy beds. The boat house is a great bonus: we kayaked a few days and also rented a boat…..was great to be able to stop back to pick up extra supplies, people etc. We had a great week…. Highly recommend!!!

Great stay
We really enjoyed staying at this property, it was comfortable, clean, everything worked, great location, and great communication with the property owner.
The boat house was a really nice feature, we brought our boat for fishing and exploring the islands. Alexandria Bay was a great little town with plenty of places to eat and the people were friendly.
We would definitely highly recommend this place if you are going to the thousand islands area.

Wonderful Stay!
What a beautiful villa! As soon as you open the door it smelled and looked clean and inviting. Everything you need and want was in there to use. Beds were really comfortable too. This villa is highly recommended! Had an amazing vacation! Thank you!

Could not find anything that was negative for this property. Except for we would have liked to stay longer(next time). Check in was easy, home was clean and neat.

Extremely expensive
For the price of this place I expected to have toilet paper and soap in both bathrooms. There was about a tablespoon of laundry soap that was obviously watered down and enough for one load.
The four remotes that were there were confusing to say the least and after trying for a half hour, gave up watching any TV.
The dishes, pots and pans were all mismatched and appeared to be garage sale quality. The propane grill was completely rusted to the point where we cooked hamburgers inside on the stove.

My husband and I had a great stay at Lauren’s place! The condo was sparkling clean, well appointed, and the boathouse was absolutely perfect for our needs. Lauren was super responsive and everything worked out great. We look forward to coming back next year!

Great family getaway at the River!
Great week at the RIVER we love. Property had everything we needed and super clean. The boathouse was amazeballs! Used the kayaks frequently. Rented a boat from Aquamania. Hope to be back next year! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property right in Alex Bay!
This was my second time returning to this property and fourth time in the 1000 Islands. I always try and book this Villa if possible. I love being able to bring our boat and have it right at our house, as well as the option to walk to town. You are extremely close to Boldt Castle. The house is always clean and Lauren, the property owner is very responsive and responds quickly. From booking questions, wifi passwords, things to do, anything you may need during your stay she is always there to help.

Alexandria Bay
It was easy to rent this property and communicate with owner. She provided great recommendations for things to do and neighbors provided fantastic 4th of July Fireworks viewable from the deck. Listing needs updated so there is no expectation of being able to use 5 person paddle boat. Nice place, comfortable and easy to locate.

Weekend getaway to reset
Mother & daughter get away this past weekend was fabulous. If this isn't the cleanest property I have ever stayed at, it has to be an extremely close second. The owner has obviously taken great care to ensure occupants are comfortable and feel at home. Tastefullly decorated, comfortable beds, everything you need in a kitchen - which is super clean! 2 bathrooms - again super clean. The upstairs bathroom is smaller and while the property can accommodate 6 people, 2 of those 6 should be children. The bedroom downstairs and loft area upstairs are comfortable for adults. The third bedroom area is suited for younger children. This was a last minute rental and I cannot say enough about how pleasant an experience I had with the owner. Responsive, answered all my questions - just a pleasure to interact with. Location is good - a leisurely 10 minute walk to town. Sunset park with some ice cream that you pick up on the way was beautiful. And of course the kayaks being available right downstairs - we took advantage of each day. Wonderful experience!

Alexandria Bay stay
We attended a wedding in A-Bay back in May 2016. So when another wedding came up and was in the same area I knew instantly I was coming back to this house bc my first experience was that great. Lauren is super responsive and helpful. The beds are comfy and the house is cozy. I enjoyed my second time there just as much as my first. Would highly recommend it for the simple fact that it feels like home away from home 😊

Great place to stay!
My family has been coming to the Thousand Islands area for over 60 years and this by far was one of our best places to stay in the area! We loved the boat house and ease of access to Alexandria Bay, Boldt Castle and all of the Islands. The Villa was clean, comfortable and allowed our family to all be together under one roof. The balcony was a great place for a morning coffee and evening cocktail. We used the kayaks daily and enjoyed an afternoon swim near Pine Tree Point. The Villa was also super quiet, no noise from the neighbors and everyone we met this week was very friendly. We will definitely be scheduling at the "A-Bay Getaway" next year as well!

Location of property was great. Unfortunately the river was too high to launch our smaller boat. But the kids still had fun kayaking & fishing. The property is easily accessible & perfect for what we needed. Our dog loved sunning herself on the deck too !!

Perfect Vacation Home in Alex Bay!
Very relaxing townhome in Alexandra Bay. Had coffee on balcony each morning. Though did not use kayaks nice extra. Great location with surrounding activities. Do the boat tour of Bolt Castle. Close location to Kingston, Canada. Beautiful townhome, nice owners, nice neighbors who were very helpful.

The house was very clean and beautiful. It was great for 2 couples. We didn’t use the 3rd bedroom. It is connected to the loft so it wouldn’t be good for a 3rd couple. Great for kids.
It was within walking distance to the town.
We did the 2 hour international tour with Uncle Sams. We had beautiful weather for it and the tour guide was entertaining. We went to The Kitchen one night for dinner and the food was excellent. If we go back to Alexandria Bay again we’d love to stay again.

Great location, great house
Had a great week on Carnegie Bay. Easy walk into Alexandria Bay and Bonnie Castle, and a great little general store just a couple blocks away. House was setup perfectly, absolutely nothing else we could ask for. Boathouse was able to fit a large pontoon boat without a problem, just need to be careful if it’s windy!

Cozy, clean and beautiful condo in Alexandria Bay.
We had a great time visiting Alexandria Bay and staying at Harbor Villas! The unit was great for the three of us and our medium size Goldendoodle. The unit is well appointed, nicely decorated and most important, very clean. Everything worked well, the unit is quite comfortable and peaceful. Owners (Lauren and Pat) were easy to reach and clarified any questions I had. We used the paddle boat and the kayaks one day (the kayaks are faster to get around). The boat house underneath the unit was very convenient to pick up the rest of the family for a day out in the river (if you have your own boat, even better). Downtown is a short walk away, allowing us to dine a couple of nights downtown as well as take advantage of the boat tours without having to drive. We took the Boldt Castle tour, rented a boat for a day to enjoy the river, took our son to the Drive-In to watch Mission Impossible 6 (he did enjoy the experience), and raced Go-karts. For dinner we tried Riley's by the River, Riveredge hotel, the Admirals Inn, and Josie's pizza (highly recommended). We had breakfast at Cathy's coffee and do recommend the Sinful coffee and the french toasts. It was certainly a very relaxing time; Lauren and Pat have done a great job with their condo. My wife is already checking the calendar to plan our next stay.

Great villa!
The villa is charmingly decorated, conveniently located, and fully stocked. We had a wonderful vacation. We spent most of our time on our boat and loved exploring the River. We went to Gananoque, Kingston, Cape Vincent, Clayton, and Alexendria Bay. It was so helpful being able to walk or boat to so many places, especially since our car broke down on the way there and we were without a car all week. Lauren was a very good host and checked in on us several times to see if all was ok. We definitely would like to return some day.

My wife and I spent a week at this lovely town home. We enjoyed walking into town every morning for breakfast. Our favorite was Kathy's coffee pot. This was just a small little place, but you felt like you knew everyone in town. During the day we would go down to the first floor of the town home, get in our boat and go island exploring or castle touring or town hopping. Clayton, Rockport, Gananoque, and Alexandria Bay are easily accessible by boat. We didn't take advantage of the kayaks, bikes, or paddle boat, but these are included in your stay. The town home couldn't have been more complete for having a relaxing and enjoyable time. There are several good restaurants in A-Bay we would recommend. Coleman's is more pub food, but it's literally right on the water with it's deck out back. Bonnie Castle was a complete surprise with killer sunset views over Boldt Castle. This was by far the best food we had all week. The Channelside and the Seaway Grille were favorites in Clayton. Lauren was a fabulous as to being there if we needed anything at all. We loved our stay in A-Bay!

We had a lovely 5 day stay at this beautiful, well-maintained townhouse. Lauren was great and quickly answered any questions. The description is very accurate, but you must see it to realize how beautifully decorated and comfortable it really is! Well-equipped kitchen with new appliances. Comfortable beds and pillows. Didn't use the offerings of the boathouse, so I can't comment on it. I highly recommend this little gem and would stay there again.

We had a Girls' Weekend in Alexandria Bay and enjoyed our stay at Lauren's. The Thousand Islands did not disappoint, nor did the Boldt Castle. We also enjoyed a quick trip to a couple of towns in Canada.
A bit disappointed in restaurant options in Alexandria Bay and think Clayton may have been a better option for that. Seems A Bay was a lot more about bars and bar food.
