Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything about this home was perfect for our Northern Michigan getaway. The location was ideal for exploring beautiful Leland and all that the surrounding Leelanau peninsula has to offer. And the home was both cozy and spacious with a great layout inside and outside to have some memorable meals together and get some much needed rest and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was the perfect size for our family reunion of 10! Exceptionally clean and the perfect location to walk to town and the lake. Everything was thought of in this house- emergency supplies, extra bedding, all the kitchen supplies you could need, info about things to do in the area and a great book explaining all you would ever need to know about the house. To top it off, the owner is really nice and is easy to communicate with. A gem of a rental for sure!

This spot was perfect for some great family time. It is a beautiful home with an owner who has thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. The location is perfect. We were able to take a short walk with a couple of kids to Leland and Fishtown with ease. We hope to stay here again in the future!

This was a perfect retreat in Leeland, MI. The house was beautifully cared for, Michael provided easy and effective communication, and there was more than enough space for our group. We loved that the lake was right down the road and Fishtown was also a short walk away.

The only word that comes to mind to describe this home is 'perfection'. I stayed here for about a month and a half and really got the full experience. Everything about the home is just so comfortable, warm, and beautiful. From the woods that were used throughout, to the beds, to the light that comes through the many windows and skylights. It truly feels like home. Now what could be better than a perfect home? Well, a perfect host. And Mike was exactly that. Always so helpful, patient, and always willing to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I couldn't write a review and leave out Jane (the next door neighbor and Mike's mother). She welcomed me like one of her own sons. What a wonderful woman! So thoughtful, sweet, and very wise. She was also the most perfect neighbor one could ever want. I will conclude with this, some places carry on with you long after you've left and this is one of them. Feelings of joy, happiness, and love. Ones that you too will experience as soon as you walk through that front door.

We loved the property and the area. Mike's house is a gem and the area is quaint and peaceful. Hiking Sleeping Bear Dunes in Dec is an experience everyone needs to enjoy. Had a great time and will be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

The owner’s personal involvement during our rental experience was heart warming. He was so personable and helpful with all my questions and concerns. Our group of girls had a wonderful time and all our needs were met. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone. The beach is only a short walk away and very enjoyable. Adequate sleeping quarters, functional well supplied kitchen, relaxing fire pit, washing machine on sight. It has it all. Thanks for a wonderful get away.

Michael is a Great host, answers questions quickly. His home is well organized clean and relaxing. The town is great with a lot to do in the area. I had my whole family there for three days went over to sleeping bear dunes, rode bike, played at the beach and ate in the town. I can highly recommend his home and hope to visit again. We had a wonderful stay. Due to weather our arrival date kept changing but the owners were very accommodating and worked with us. This cottage is centrally located in Leland. The home is well furnished and evident so much thought to every detail to make our stay enjoyable.

My family of 6 enjoyed this home very much in Leland for our vacation. We loved the actual home, the layout of the new construction, and everyone had their own bed - which was great. The homeowners were extremely thoughtful and supplied many things for our stay - including nice linens, soaps, coffee, tea bags, condiments. The area is great as a launching pad to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and Lake MI as well as Lake Lelanua which was a mere few houses away. The townspeople were all very nice as well. The home as well as everything around makes rental this well worth it. We lacked for nothing during our stay and loved this new amazing home.
