Poco A Poco Ranch - 25 minutes from San Antonio
Homestead allemand 1860 magnifiquement restauré niché dans le Texas Hill Country. Parfait pour les familles - composé de 3 maisons sur 450 acres magnifiques. Détenue et décorée par le plus grand designer de San Antonio, cette maison a été publiée pour son intégrité intérieure et sa beauté. Poco Un Poco a accueilli de nombreux VIP; un ancien gouverneur du Texas, des acteurs, des magnats du monde des affaires de San Antonio et de nombreux socialistes admiratifs. Luke Perry est resté ici quand il tournait 8 secondes. Une publicité de crème glacée Blue Bell a été filmée ici. La maison principale a une cuisine complète (incroyablement bien approvisionnée) avec un salon confortable et une cheminée, un endroit merveilleux pour jouer à des jeux, lire des livres ou tout simplement visiter, une belle salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes avec un coin salon. Il y a une chambre principale et une salle de bain avec baignoire. A l'étage se trouve une chambre d'enfant avec 5 lits jumeaux. Il y a une salle de bain partagée avec douche et un charmant maître avec roi. La chambre bleue est adjacente à la maison principale. Il s'agit d'une petite maison avec 2 lits doubles et une salle de bain avec douche. Il y a une autre maison que nous appelons le fumoir (c'était à l'origine vraiment un fumoir). Il a une cuisine complète, buanderie, maître avec une reine et salle de bain avec vanité, baignoire / douche. Il y a un lit dans cette maison et un canapé dans cette maison qui conviendrait parfaitement pour un enfant. Nous avons une belle piscine, aire de jeux, vélos. Nous sommes à quelques minutes d’une épicerie haut de gamme, de boutiques, de restaurants Boerne / Bulverde et d’antiquités. 25 minutes à San Antonio. Nous sommes à 3 miles du parc d'état de Guadalupe. Également à quelques kilomètres d’Anhalt, un dancehall fondé en 1887.

Poco a Poco is a magical place!! Each of the houses are beautifully decorated and unique! The grounds are quintessential Texas Hill Country!! The only problem we had was that no one wanted to leave!!

We loved our stay at the ranch and plan to return. It's a perfect set up for a multi-generational vacation and such a unique property - tons to do, very well stocked, plenty of space to spread out, and plenty of places to gather together. Photos give a clear indication of the layout and we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the family time.

The historical feel and rustic touches are beautiful and well placed. The best of both worlds country living with modern amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful property. The animals, pool, reliable wifi and gameroom were enjoyed by all the teenagers and teenagers at heart. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and outdoor lounging areas. Our family was able to cook incredible meals and enjoy nice evenings in the outdoor space. So much to see and areas to explore on the inside and out. All of the incredibly curated antiques were such a beautiful treasure hunt all over the property. We will be back for sure.

Second time to stay!
We absolutely love staying at the Poco A Poco- we loved it so much we’ve now stayed there twice for two large group gatherings. It’s truly the most perfect beautiful home filled with everything you need. I feel like I’m living in a movie set. The staff is very hospitable and easy to communicate, if there is an issue they fix it quickly and the location is not too far from San Antonio and only 20 minutes from Boerne. I hope to come back again with our family soon! The Poco A Poco feels like a home away from home!

Family Reunion
This is a very special place. Perfect setting and accommodating for a reunion of any kind. It allows each guest to have “ their own space” as well as great entertaining spaces. The pool area in the middle of the living spaces makes easy movement throughout. The game room is fun for friendly ( competítive in my family) ping pong, pool and checkers games.
We made so many great memories there. I cannot wait to go back.

Wonderful Poco a Poco
My wife and I have been renting vacation properties in the U.S, and around the world for a quarter century. Of all our rentals, Poco a Poco tops our list. If it’s glitzy modernity you’re looking for(and we have enjoyed those ourselves), this is not it. Instead, it’s an historic Texas ranch property that has been deftly adapted by a sensitive decorator to modern use with no loss of its charm or character.
The first morning after arrival, as the earliest waking adult, I stepped out the door to see 3 young grandchildren, cousins separated too long by the pandemic, standing together by the stone and wrought iron fence, gazing in rapture at 2 bison munching grass nearby. It was a moment I shall not forget. Over the next few days there were many other magic moments for our family reunion. The cistern and game room were magnets for small fry and rarely did anyone feel an impulse to leave the ranch. Poco a Poco has a unique charm and allure. Our grandchildren are clamoring for a return visit.

Every word that can be used to describe this property: amazing, beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, has been used in all the previous reviews. If you have a large group, are looking for a VRBO that far exceeds expectations, with tremendous owners and communication, then this is absolutely the place. Pleas read all the previous reviews and believe every positive word you read because they are all true, or understated. Magnificent place. Didn’t even know about the horses and Buffalo roaming freely. Outstanding! So lucky to be able to stay here.

Family Reunion
Amazing weekend in this home! I would love to come back each year....the home was better than pictures showed it to be an absolute treasure .. .we cooked meals for our family, enjoyed the pool, met some new animal friends...and made the best memories in this beautiful home. Rooms, kitchen, games,...everything was more than stocked with what we needed!

Fabulous Place for a Family Get-Away!
We had a family get-together, ages from 7 - 77 and we all had a blast! The grounds are beautiful and there is something for everyone! The game room, pool, animals, privacy, and the fabulous rich heritage that is obvious in the compound was more than we could ask for. I highly recommend this place.

Don’t hesitate to book, this place is AMAZING
Our large extended family booked this ranch for a weekend and it wasn’t nearly long enough! We had ages 5-75 with us and it was just perfect for all. The homes are impeccably decorated with the most thoughtful and beautiful details and collections that we loved perusing, and all the beds and furnishings are very luxurious and comfortable. You have to see this place to believe it— our jaws were on the floor walking through it the first time! The property was just as gorgeous outside, with the rock courtyard being perfect for dining and hanging out. The kids swam in the pool all weekend, when they weren’t busy hanging out in the awesome game room. The horses, chickens, and bison came to visit us, too! This was a perfect getaway that I’m sure we’ll book again. Thanks for sharing Poco a Poco with us, we feel so lucky to have been able to experience it!

Poco A Poco didn’t disappoint
An unreal property. The pictures do not do this place justice. Our family of 7 really enjoyed our stay. All the buildings are well appointed and extremely comfortable. Pool is awesome. Beautiful country setting and an excellent place to unwind.

Poco A Poco Ranch is a remote, rustic paradise
Our family (ranging from 10 months to 62 years) fell in love with Poco A Poco Ranch! The property has several cottages close together with an assortment of bedrooms so everyone had privacy yet we were still close enough that the little ones could sleep while the adults played games and visited at night. Where else can you enjoy watching bison, deer, horses, and chickens and etc right from your doorstep or window! This ranch was amazing and truly a unique experience for our family!

Very cool, historic property with lots of Hill Country charm. Kids had fun in the pool, play room and looking at the horses. The number and arrangement of the bedrooms worked well for our big family. Great place!

Perfect getaway!
This property is immaculate and so interesting! We had five couples come out for a kid free weekend and had an absolute blast. The property is so well taken care of and offers so much to do without ever having to leave. We loved how friendly the horses and bison were, also! We are definitely coming back without a shadow of a doubt!

My DREAM getaway spot!
There are not enough words to describe how impressed and how much our group enjoyed our stay at the Poco A poco ranch! We had around 15 girls present for a bachelorette weekend and it could not have been more perfect. You could spent hours getting lost in the electric, and elegant details of the entire property. For everything that was provided, endless cooking and serving gear/ingredients, extra linens, plenty of towels, very comfortable ammenities, and incredible communication it was a great deal and well worth the money. We had a blast playing all night in the game barn, we could sit everyone around the dinner table and open up the screened doors/window so cold air could come through and we drove into San Antonio which was very easy. I already am scheming when I can come back for a long weekend with my family. It felt like I was at home but way better. Thank you so much to Margaret and the entire family for creating such a unique and special place to gather in the country. We were so blessed by it!

Family retreat
Our extended family of 11 gathered at Poco a Poco for the second time in two years. Among five kids and six adults everyone was enthusiastic about returning to this unique, authentic and outstanding property. It once again exceeded expectations.

PERFECT GIRLFRIEND GETAWAY
Poco A Poco is the perfect place for hanging with friends and family, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and surrounded by the comforts of a beautiful home. There is plenty of room for people to gather AND to scatter, the hostess was very attentive and we enjoyed every minute. Would definitely recommend to anyone that has a large group (10-20)...........and hope to return!!!! And, if you want some adventure while in the area - do a float trip down the Comal River........big fun!!!

Gorgeous hill country ranch close to the most adorable town of Boerne
We used this amazing ranch to host our family of 17 for Thanksgiving. It all worked perfectly. Everyone had their own space while still having the patios, main house and game house to gather. Great for all ages! Gorgeous old stone homes updated to perfection and the nicest of hosts. The owners made us feel welcome and right at home. Private and peaceful while still being close to Boerne and Bulverde. We can’t wait to book it again!

We had a great time. The houses are so beautiful and there is a ton of character. The property is amazing and the horses were so friendly. It was fun taking a walk and seeing them roaming around.

Awesome Getaway
I booked this property for my sister and her entire family for my son's wedding. Plenty of rooms and beds, very charming and a unique place to stay. Her grankids loved the horses and bison on the property. I highly recommend this location. Host was kind enough to allow us to drop off food two days in advance of their arrival. Can't say enough good things about Margaret and her awesome place.

Nice 6 separate bedrooms - with different entrances. Fun to have everyone together but yet apart. (Especially in the morning)

Amazingly unique property
We had an amazing stay for the week of Thanksgiving. A very old house with the modern comforts of today seamlessly integrated. Having the information to learn about the history of the property as well as the area available in the way of pictures and newspaper clippings was a very personal aspect of this house seldom found in a sterile VRBO. Very convenient to shopping and areas of interest as well . I highly recommend this property, especially if you are tired of the usual rental.

Entire property was wonderful - things for everyone to do & enjoy. Had all ages over the weekend for a small gathering of family. We had a wonderful time. Property was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Management checked in to see if anything was needed or if there were any questions. More than we could have hoped
Everyone in our group of ten (2 grandparents, 2 couples, 4 grandchildren) LOVED the property! What a pleasure to be welcomed into such a beautiful home and living ranch. With its multiple gathering areas, indoors and out, and recreational opportunities, we could not have had a better location for our family get-together. The kitchen, in particular, is so well stocked with cookware, tableware and serving items, every dinner felt like a banquet. Thank you for sharing Poco a Poco. No one wanted to leave!
