Lovely little cottage in the garden, full of character. Nancy was warm and hospitable A nice break in the usual rhythm of our days!

We (a couple) had a lovely five-night stay in Nancy's quaint cottage. It was late August and the weather in Point Roberts was quite coastal (wet and coolish). The cottage was warm and dry and had everything we needed: cutlery, cooking utensils, small fridge, hotplates, toaster, coffeemaker, great water pressure, nice towels, comfortable bed and warm bedding. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but we didn't use them. We'd stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple of days and wish we could have been there longer. The garden was lovely, the accommodation is perfect for 2-3 people. Very close to beaches and the marketplace.
One of the highlights was definitely Nancy. She was so pleasant and welcoming and has put her blood, sweat and tears into maintaining a lovely property.
Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful little piece of history. We felt like we got to travel back in time while enjoying a very peaceful and quiet time away. The hostess is very friendly and resourceful as she helped us understand the history of Point Roberts, where all the wonderful places to visit, and was very hospitable. We would love to try coming back again

My daughter and I had an amazing time at the cottage. We spent time in the garden and walked a lot. It was a great time for both of us as we were able to completely unplug. Nancy welcomed us and we appreciated her caring approach.
The location is amazing, a walking distance to the local beach and lots of hiking opportunities. Point Roberts is a peaceful place by the ocean. We will come back soon.

This was a quiet retreat, filled with beautiful aromas from the gorgeous landscape , also well maintained. The unit offered exactly what was needed, bothing too bulky and overwhelming, but items that made for relaxing with your company an easy outcome.

Everything we needed was provided. A beautiful setting, and a quaint, cozy place to stay.

Nancy was a wonderful host who met us upon arrival. The cottage was delightfully charming with everything needed! Kind of felt like we were staying over at Grandma’s house and she was happy to have us! The loft bed added extra charm and was very comfortable. Its kinda like a tiny home-quite livable!

Rich history and artistic spirit permeate the property. A gem among bnb's, it is so thoughtfully decorated and appointed, and the host is simply wonderful - helped us to explore the point and the cottage. I can't wait to meet her again.

Nancy is a great host, ensuring our privacy and also that we are equipped with the necessary info to enjoy the area.
The cottage has loads of fascinating antiques and many kitchen appliances. Everything one needs.
We loved it!

Cute little place, built in stages with mostly recycled materials - done well. Comfy beds, charming details. Nancy was lovely at check-in, and in spite of living quite close by gave us all the space we needed.

Point Roberts is a quaint town and because of its unique geographical there are not many services available, so bring the gourmet food in wirh tou if that is desired. Local grocery store is okay for basics.
With that said bike riding is great and while there are some hills they are manageable without an e bike. We saw a pod of Orcas at South Beach fairly close to shore ovserving jumps and tail splashing. Along with the variety of birds, seala etc. It will make a naturalist smile.
The little cottage has a wonderful garden and very private dining area under the trees. The house is eclectic, but certainly very functional. Lots of chara ter and thought went into decorating the cottage. For those who tend to spread out when sleeping you may want to use the daybed as well as the loft. Nancy. The host is great and full of information about things to do.

This is a great little cottage with lots of character. We will definitely stay here again!
We loved being so close to the beach. While it is small it had everything we needed, blankets, games and books. The kitchen was small but still had what we needed to prepare simple meals. Nancy was very kind and also respectful of our space. The garden is beautiful, I imagine in the summer it would be perfect for lounging in the shade with a good book. We will definitely stay here again.

Three of us stayed quite happily close to the ocean for a restful time.

Wonderful retreat, wonderful hostess
This cottage is designed like an efficient, gracious vintage ship and Nancy, an integral part of this vacation community for 30 years, was a delightful hostess. We really enjoyed the gardens that lap the cottage, the frequently visiting hummingbirds, and the beach that was a short walk away.

Lovely getaway
Returning to this charming cottage was just what we needed. It was the perfect setting for a restful vacation. Walking through the beautiful garden, strolling through the surrounding, friendly neighborhood and enjoying refreshing swims at the beach were restorative. There are two wonderful restaurants within walking distance, one adjacent to the Marina, and the other, located right above South Beach, is a great place to have dinner on the spacious outdoor garden, and watch the sun set over the water. We remembered Nancy as a kind and attentive hostess and once again she made sure that we were comfortable and cared for.

Point Roberts Cottage
Very quaint with lovely hostess. TV was not working unless you wanted to use a DVD. Toaster did not work but owner was not aware and would replace. Good location and we enjoyed our first visit to Point Robert's. Owner was very knowledgable of the peninsula.

Point Roberts is a very quiet beach community with many outdoor and beach locations to explore. It was a pleasant two day reprieve from busy greater Vancouver which is what we wanted. We visited Lighthouse Park, hiked in Lily Point park, and spent some time on the beach. We shopped at Pt Roberts Market; and ate at Breakwaters Bar & Grill, a harbour restaurant where the food and service was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay in Nancy’s quaint guest cottage. The cottage is a short walk to South Beach. I easily walked back to grab my camera to photograph bald eagles 🦅 on the beach. The small cottage is sweetly set up with everything we needed and more, and tucked into full nature. Nancy the owner is a lovely lady. Her garden is full and beautiful.
We had bit of trouble finding the guest cottage on the back NE corner of the property when we arrived. There is a ladder to a loft (vs stairs), sit-up room only as in a tiny house. I am fragrance-sensitive and did have trouble sleeping in the cottage. Nancy accommodated by offering a mattress; I slept under a mosquito net I carry with me, on the deck of the cottage under the canopy of a large tree. I could hear the ocean as I fell asleep and when I woke in the morning. My sister slept just inside on the day bed.

Very pleasant stay.

Well equipped
This place is well equipped. The downside for seniors would be the loft. It is not easy climbing up and down the ladder type stairs. It is very quiet and close to the beach.

The perfect little garden cottage
My husband, myself and our three year old enjoyed a weeks stay at Nancy's perfect little Point Roberts garden cottage. This is truly a special place. Although the cottage might be considered small for some, we felt it's size only added to its charm. We found the cottage to be completely functional and fully equipped with everything we could need. We loved all the antiques and curiosities that filled the cottage. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and surrounds the grounds and the little cottage. There are many varieties of flowers and we enjoyed picking fresh strawberries each day. The cottage is in such a peaceful setting on a quiet side lane. We hope to stay again soon, I can't wait to go back. Thank you Nancy,
Shannon

Point Roberts beautiful weekend
Greeted by owner upon arrival. Nancy was very lovely, giving us a detailed walk-through of place/surrounding area. Very happy to share bits of her garden. (Nice touch)
The space is quite small, but was exactly as the pictures showed, so no surprises there. Garden is absolutely fantastic.
Got a great dining out tip, which was really good too.
Very clean.
Great location.
Would definitely stay there again with same # of people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A cosy place
The place was cozy. It is meant for people who like the out doors/camping feel. There was a provided lantern, but we used our cell phone lights to get back and forth. There was a problem with ants, but we didn't see them the next night. Thank you Nancy for a nice place to stay.

cozy cabin close to the beach
The owner was very accommodating and responsive. Cute little cabin with a well stocked mini kitchen. My only suggestion would be to have a way to adjust the temperature, it got quite warm at night.

Very lovely cottage
I spent three nights at this cottage and it was very lovely. Very close to the ocean. Great for long walks and tranquility. The only suggestion I have is better lighting at night in order to get to the cottage. I struggled in the dark to find the path. We always left in the morning and I didn't remember to put the porch light on. The lock to the door was broken and did not work. I spent the final night alone and this freaked me out and I didn't sleep well.

It isn't really a two bedroom. Studio with queen bed. And a one person (very comfortable) couch.
No cook stove but bbq area, electric cooking devices so very doable. Has. a small nice frig. Would have been more convenient if microwave was on counter instead of packed in a cupboard full of stuff. At the least a water pot to heat water. Would highly recommend the place for an artist or writer.
Would not recommend for those with mobility issues.

The perfect relaxing gettaway!
The host Nancy is so friendly and wonderful!
The cottage was so beautiful and cozy. It was very private and tranquil. You walk through a beautifully kept fragrant garden and make your way to the cottage. Once inside you will enjoy the rustic feel with open ceilings and cute little historic details. We will definitely be returning to enjoy all this amazing property has to offer. Thanks again to Nancy for everything. Definitely book a stay at The Garden Cottage!
