«That Red House» est une maison au bord du lac construite sur mesure. Le design de la maison est éclectique et unique avec un décor moderne et Adirondack. La grande salle est ouverte et aérée avec un plafond cathédrale, entourée de nombreuses fenêtres avec une vue imprenable sur la Montagne Noire au sud. Les planchers de bois et de tuile de teck courent dans toute la maison.
La cuisine gastronomique, entièrement équipée avec des ustensiles de cuisine, des plats et des ustensiles de cuisine pour tous les repas, est adjacente à la Grande Salle, le cuisinier n'est jamais en reste! A proximité se trouve un bar, une salle à manger et une salle d'eau.
Il y a une terrasse de 15 'X 20', accessible depuis la grande salle et la chambre principale, est parfaite pour simplement se détendre ou profiter d'un repas avec vue sur le magnifique lac George à seulement 75 '. De plus, nous avons un porche couvert Adirondack 7 'X 16' qui offre une intimité et une vue spectaculaire sur le lac au sud.

Nous faisons partie d'une association qui possède un grand quai en U en eau profonde avec un slip disponible pour un bateau jusqu'à 20 pieds de longueur. De plus, nous avons 6 à 8 kayaks à la disposition de nos clients, ainsi que deux kayaks pour enfants récemment achetés. Nager du quai en eau profonde est un jeu d'enfant grâce à deux échelles robustes qui facilitent l'entrée et la sortie du magnifique lac George. Les clients avec de jeunes enfants peuvent souhaiter visiter la plage de la ville. La plage de la ville de Gull Bay est à cinq minutes en voiture de la maison et est située à Gull Bay. C'est une plage de sable propre et calme qui descend doucement dans l'eau.

I can’t emphasize enough how great this vacation was. Everything from the beautiful design of the house to the view to the well-stocked kitchen and the easy to use dock and water toys that Marta provides with her one-in-a-million houses. Marta is responsive and super-nice too. We had our little doggies with us and she never let us feel uncomfortable about bringing our little guys. Thank you so much Marta. Can’t wait to return.

Marta was an excellent host for my family’s visit to Lake George. She was extremely communicative before and during our stay and provide a ton of advice about things to do during our visit. The photos do not do this property justice - it is gorgeous both inside and the elevated views of the lake from the windows and yard. It was incredible to have our boat docked in the lake just below the house and made it super easy to hit the water on a whim. If we come back this will be our go to house!! Thank you again Marta.

This property was amazing. Perfect location, right on Lake George with lovely views and access to the Lake. The house was really well equipped - we wanted for nothing at all in terms of kitchen equipment and supplies. Other than beach towels, our usual packing for a Lake George rental went almost entirely unused! And we were able to avoid the hassle of lugging our kayaks as Marta had them as well! Marta was a great host, actively and promptly communicating and leaving great house notes to guide us in new surroundings. We had a 1 year old in our party and though there was no walk in access, but there is a nice beach not far away by car. Adults can hop in the lake off the dock and swim to their hearts content following down a short trail directly from the house. We would absolutely return and rent from Marta again. Thanks for the great stay!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! The location was marvelous and the home was clean and fabulous. We kayaked and paddleboarded in the lake and had scrumptious meals in a fantastic kitchen. Marta was helpful anytime we had a question. We also found many great hiking trails nearby. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you Marta!

This was a great place for an easy trip to spend Mother’s Day weekend. Spacious enough for 5 people, and pet-friendly so we could bring our dogs. The house was exceptionally clean, and true to its description. The owner left tons of easy-to-follow directions around the house so we could find and use the different amenities. Great view of the lake, and the sun deck has me pestering my husband to build something similar back home! The house is within a 20 minute drive to some great walking trails in Ticonderoga, including the fort. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet weekend to enjoy nature on Lake George!

The view is breathtaking. Not exaggerating either.
The house decor was also perfect. Rustic but not too rustic. It’s eclectic and whimsical with so many interesting pieces of art, photos, paintings, antiques. I feel like every time I turned around I saw something new!
Kitchen was great, high end appliances, dishes, flatware, glasses, cook wear and kitchen tools. They had everything we needed.
The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfy.
The outdoor fire pit and the sun deck were great to enjoy some beautiful fall weather.
Marta is a gracious host and her communication before and during our stay was excellent.
I can tell you this, if you decide to book a stay, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous house with space for everyone. Views of the mountains and lake from the huge windows in the house. Three decks to enjoy a cup of coffee by yourself in the morning to a deck to have dinner while watching the sunset.
Great equipped kitchen to cook all your meals. Enjoyed the fire pit with Adirondack chairs and s’mores. The shared deck over the dock was a great place to watch the stars at night!

This tastefully decorated Adirondack lake house provides stunning views and water access for those who love getting away from it all. The house boasts all the comforts of home, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable and quiet sleeping areas, outside dining with a view, a dock to swim off, kayaks, SUP board, nearby hiking trails… lots of games, dvds and WiFi if you need it.

It's so well appointed, and the owner has framed cards sprinkled throughout with helpful info and instructions. The Red House could be described as a five star hotel. The house was absolutely gorgeous… spacious, immaculately clean, beautiful views…with every thing you could possibly need. Good for older kids
Spectacular home, clean, gorgeous finishings, million dollar view. This home is off the beaten path and situated on a steep rocky cliff. There is no yard area or beach area for kids on the premises. There is a dock you have access to, but not a suitable area for “hanging out” with kids. Basically, if you have active young children, this is not the ideal place. Great for older kids, couples etc.

Amazing Vacation at The Red House on Lake George
For our family summer vacation this year, we stayed at Marta’s Red House on Lake George NY June 19-26, 2022. The lake house is superbly designed, decorated and well stocked with all the necessities. The views of Lake George are spectacular. We Spent most of our time down at the dock kayaking, swimming, fishing and relaxing. The water is pristine there. Even our two dogs enjoyed their stay. The property was immaculate, with all the comforts of home, but with a better view! And kayaks! Notes scattered around the house gave instructions for everything from how to use the woodstove (we didn't need it) to reminders to enjoy "the oasis within the oasis" (aka the master bedroom). The kitchen is complete with everything needed for serious cooks (we brought 2!), and the firepit was a perfect way to end each day. I think the only hardship was a lack of cell reception (might have been a blessing in disguise), but I blame Verizon for that. We relied on my daughter-in-law's AT&T issue phone instead. We would definitely return.

Marta’s beautiful Red House is the exact location for a fantastic getaway. The house is gorgeous and extremely clean. The lake is stunning and the surroundings are just exquisite.
Marta has EVERYTHING you need at the house! But make sure to stock up on groceries because the nearest store is a bit of a drive!

Beautiful!
We were looking to go “off the grid” for a long weekend getaway and this was the absolute perfect place to do so! The house and views are perfect! Marta has literally everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals and I love all the personal touches throughout the home. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed our mornings sipping coffee on the upstairs deck looking over the lake, our afternoon hiking, and our evenings watching the sunset over the mountains by the fire pit. We loved how secluded we were and was the perfect place to relax for a few days. Marta was an AMAZING HOST!! I love her notes through the home which make finding everything a breeze and when communicating she would respond very quickly! She also left us a bottle of Prosecco (our fav!) We would absolutely stay here again!!
