Venez magnifique lac Vermilion et profiter de l'un des dix plus beaux lacs dans le monde! Il ya plus de 290 miles de littoral, rock principalement glaciaire de conifères majestueux, et 365 îles uniques sur cette vierge nord du lac du Minnesota. We had a great fall trip here! Perfect location on Lake Vermillion with lots of opportunities to catch fish on the lake. Cabin had a very well stocked kitchen and the cherry on top was having firewood available to use in the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside as well. Highly recommend!

This cabin/house was exactly what we were looking for so we could experience Lake Vermillion for the first time. Amenities were plentiful with an extensive library selection along with games and puzzles. The deck over looking the water was ideal. Beds pillows and kitchen supplies were abundant. Neat clean accommodations and everything was as we expected. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful spot! Two families with small children stayed here. The only part that we didn’t live was that we needed to dispose of our own garbage at the dump and we needed to bring drinking water. It did make us more thoughtful about our waste though! We used the kayaks and they provided lots of firewood for bonfires. They also provided a highchair, pack n play and a crib if needed. The soudan mine park is very close and made for a nice close hike.

This was a fishing, hunting and golf trip with 4 old guy friends that have been vacationing together over 15 years. The cabin was perfect for our needs and provided plenty of room inside and out (parking & large garage was awesome)
We utilized the outside fire pit, fish cleaning table, dock and both decks that overlook Lake Vermillion. There are plenty of kitchen utensils, coffee maker, blender, 4 slice toaster, etc. so we didn't need to bring anything. The beds were clean & comfortable and each had it's own fan. Great for white noise sleeping!
They even provided some great welcome snacks which we thoroughly enjoyed.
If we had to find a downside it was the dock being too high out of the water. We had 2 fishing boats tied to it and when the winds blew they we subject to damage from bouncing under the dock. Maybe it was a low water year? Dock cleats & bumpers would be a nice addition.
All in all it's a great cabin & location. We are looking forward to next year's stay!

Beautiful home with all amenities you could ask for. Well supplied, great location! Perfect retreat for 6 couples. Some minor things needing attention: Issues with circuit breaker popping for boat pug in, ceiling lights in master didn’t work, dehumidifier necessary to use in basement bedroom but runs loud. All in all, loved it!!

We had such a fun time at this cabin! Communication with the owner/manager was great, And the property matched the listing. We loved seeing wildlife we don’t always see at home, as well as the beautiful lake sunsets. Truly a trip to remember!

Wonderful Stay
This property was exactly as listed. We stayed for a week for our snowmobile trip. Close to town, so getting provisions was no problem. Easy directions to and from. Plenty of parking for large vehicles as well as six snowmobiles.
The house was cozy and the beds were fairly comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out and relax after a long day on the trails or dog sledding. We saw an abundance of wildlife, to include bobcats!
Highly recommend this VRBO. With it being right on the lake, I imagine its just as beautiful in the summer time as well!

Great Location with Plenty of Cabin Space
The property is conveniently located on the southern edge of Lake Vermilion with close access to a boat ramp and to any supplies you might need in the town of Tower. The cabin is clean with plenty of room to relax. Also enjoyed the nice roomy kitchen that is very well stocked with all the tools we needed to cook all of our meals. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay!!
This cabin was perfect for our group of friends. The dock and boat lift were great and made for easy access to the lake whenever we wanted to go fishing. The deck overlooking the lake was a great place to enjoy dinner together. We enjoyed the little details like a fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities on top of an extremely clean and beautiful cabin.

Nice lake Vermillion cabin
We had a nice week at the cabin. Weather was great the last week of August for swimming (but could be cold for some). I think we most enjoyed the small island off the shore which was fun to swim to, and kayak to. The use of the kayaks and rowboat, and motorized fishing boat were great to have access to. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Lots of firewood for a pleasant fire every evening. Not super isolated,but felt private. Fishing pressure on the lake is pretty high, so fishing is not easy, but a good challenge. It seemed like the pontoon was included in the listing without an extra fee, but paperwork on arrival suggested it cost an extra$500 per week. We didn't bother investigating since it seemed like a bit of a hassle. Overall, the cabin worked out well for ages 6, 6, 8, 40, 44, 70, and 75. Nice place!

Before we came, Tamra kept in good communication with us. The property was as described. Plenty of space for individuals to spread out and good spots for group visits. The deck on the water was exceptional. We also enjoyed the deck by the house. The beds are comfortable. We had a great week. Thanks!

Beautiful setting
The property was everything promised and more. It was so relaxing. We ate fresh walleye twice. My brother and his family rented a place about 4 houses up the road. It was a place I would like to vacation again.

This lake home was a perfect setting and great spot for our girls weekend. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and the caretaker came over within a couple hours when we needed him for a quick fix. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms roomy. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed. The living area was very cozy and a great spot for early morning chatting. The handmade quilts throughout the home were a special homey touch. Large decks overlooking the lake where you can watch the eagles soar above. And stargaze at night! Great views of the lake from all the wonderful windows inside.The location was perfect , lots of wonderful walking and biking paths and you must do the Soudan Underground Mine tour, very interesting and a unique experience. Close to Ely for a fun day in town and eating. We had a great weekend and highly recommend this property.

Great Vacation getaway
The property is excellent. The property manager met us at the house and helped answer some questions about the area and was very helpful. Highly Recommend - Beautiful Cabin
Our Family rented this cabin for a week to enjoy the beautiful lake and make memories while staying in a wonderful cabin. AND without a doubt we chose the best place to accomplish just that.
Excellent communication between the owner and myself in preparation for our trip and any questions.
The perfect location on the lake made for a wonderful view of the sunset every night to enjoy while fishing, around the fire pit or on the substantially roomy deck.
The cabin itself was remarkable, roomy, clean and charming, with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips.
Very close to town for shopping and bait, our grandson enjoyed going and seeing the bears at the Ely Wildlife Center. So many different places to go and see and experience close to the cabin.
We spent our week there appreciating every minute of this admirable cabin. And are so thankful to have been able to enjoy a week on this property and have the memories it has given our family.

Awesome
The cabin is great and the deck right at the water is exactly what going to the cabin is about. We had a group of fisherman for the opener and had a great stay. I will book again but maybe a little later so i can take advantage of the nice Minnesota summers.

Perfect getaway
This is a high quality house with amazing views and a great family setup with the campfire area in the center of it all. Owners were very responsive to questions and needs. I highly recommend this cabin! Lake vermilion is pretty awesome as well, it won't disappoint.

Had a wonderful time!
We stayed three nights here. Tamra and Steve were very responsive and the entire visit was wonderful. We enjoyed snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and cross-country skiing. There were 6 deer that also resided near the property and were great entertainment. Thanks for making the deer food available! The cabin was clean, comfortable and convenient. The wood-burning fireplace in the living room proved to be a great focal point for the adults sitting around after a long day outside and enjoying a glass of wine! Will definitely try to return!

Wonderful location and home
This is the second time we have spent the Christmas holidays in this cabin (house) It has been a great family gathering location and accommodations. We will be going back in the future.
The house is everything noted and more. Tamera is a great homeowner and easy to communicate with.
We spent the week ice fishing and snowmobiling both right out the back door.

The beauty of northern Minnesota in the winter!
We spent four days in front of a blazing fire overlooking Lake Vermilion with our two daughters and their families. The cabin was perfect for our group, and we loved the open floor plan which allowed the whole family to be together even though they were doing different things - cooking, playing games, reading, or just talking. The perfectly frozen lake called the kids outside several times a day to walk, ice skate,or just explore the winter wonderland. A perfect Thanksgiving!

The group of seven from southern MN enjoyed the house and its close location to the snowmobile trail being out the back door on the lake. The accommodations were excellent, but the garage was VERY nice as we could put the snowmobiles inside and not worry about them!! We snowmobiled over 665 miles in 5 days riding. Was nice to have Tower close by to eat out or pickup supplies. Beds were very comfortable.
Tamra was EXCELLENT to work with at the last minute planning.

The location at the end of a point allows for a sweeping view of islands and the sunset. Total immersion in nature with Tower five minutes away. With ample room, this cabin accommodated seven of us ages 23 to 58 perfectly. Bedrooms are situated so early risers do not disturb late sleepers. The kayaks were immediately in the water on arrival. The little fishing boat was perfect for my adult children to take out around the islands and nearby bays where they caught walleye, northerns, and bass. We saw eagles and loons right from the dock with a bench that is perfect for coffee in the morning. The deck over the water is a unique feature that was used as a gathering point to string fishing poles, sketch art, enjoy happy hour and sunset dinners. The kitchen was well appointed. My artist son from NY appreciated the photographs, paintings, and ceramic pieces. We made a backyard fire and s'mores almost every night. Original plans to tour the north shore, Soudan Mine, camp on an island and golf all went undone as everyone was pleasantly content and busy enjoying "cabin life" together. Owner was a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back again!

A couple guys and myself rented this cabin for our annual golf trip. I realized after the trip was over that we enjoyed the time fishing, sitting by the camp fire, and relaxing at the cabin more than the golf. The cabin had everything listed and more. The location is amazing. We were very pleased with the 3 golf courses that we went to (all within 45 minutes), the lake was beautiful, had great privacy, yet still had plenty of stores within a half hour. The fishing boat was a great amenity and can spaciously fit four. Owner was very nice and was a pleasure to rent from. I can't state enough about how pleased we were with the whole adventure.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was our first time ´Up North´and we were absolutely amazed by the beauty of the lake. The location of the cabin is wonderful, it is well maintained, the kitchen well equipped for many guests. We rented the pontoon boat and were positively surprised about the 2nd boat that was offered to us. Not only the kids loved being pulled ... everything was just perfect!
We will definitely do it again in fall or summer.

When we arrived early, Caretaker had no problems letting us come in early. House is beautiful inside and out. had plenty of room for all 6 of us, with more room if needed for others! Property is very nice and open, beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Spent many hours on that. Pontoon is great to use when not windy and smaller fishing boat does it's job. Slow week of fishing, but we did manage 1 fish fry for dinner with some to take home. During the week you feel like you are up North by yourself. Very quite and peaceful, heard the loons, fed the deer and ducks, so we had visitors all week. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice peaceful getaway with a lot of fishing options. Thanks for the beautiful place to stay, we hope to be back one day.
