We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday with friends and family. 5 private, air conditioned, en-suite bedrooms offered great privacy. The rest of the open air rooms were large and comfortable gathering places for games, visiting, dining, and relaxation. The pool was lovely and warm. The hot tub was not operable, but we did not miss it. The view was incredible. A short 5 minute walk to Manzanillo Beach (steep stair case access). Another short walk to a nice (not swimmable) coast line access from another path and stairs. 15 minute walk to full grocery. 5-15 minute walk to great restaurant choices. The week was made amazing by Chef Marla/Carlos. Marla provisioned the house before our arrival and planned and provided a breakfast and 5 dinners. The food was so fresh, authentic and delicious. She had a special cake, sparkler, and menu for my daughter’s birthday. Skye did 11 massages and she was exceptional. Jose Luis made everything fun and easy… he provided transportation, help us get money exchanged, taxis during the week and customized and really fun food tour and bioluminescent tour. I can’t recommend Casa K enough!

We had a fantastic week in Puerto Escondido at this beautiful home. It was spacious and comfortable, but the pool and the view set it apart. The kitchen was well stocked with any equipment you could possibly need, and the washer and dryer came in handy too. Everyone we worked with at the property was so friendly and helpful. Marla cooked us two amazing meals and Patricia helped us arrange a morning boat ride where we saw tons of dolphins. We highly recommended this property and would love to return some day.

We go to Puerto every year for Thanksgiving and this is the first time this house was available. We were so excited to stay here for a couple of days and it did not disappoint! Luke was amazing during the entire stay, very helpful and responsive. We had massages under the palapa, spent a lot of time relaxing in the pool and the sunsets here were incredible. All of the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Can’t wait to come back!

Casa K lives up to the pictures. The view is incredible. The house is very large with all the amenities you will need and had lots of awesome artwork done by the owner. Luke and his crew were very accommodating, friendly, and eager to help. The location is an easy 10 minute walk to Playa Manzanillo and another 5 to get to Playa Carrizalillo. I highly recommend staying at Casa K, you won't regret it! Our only (small) compliant is that the wifi was pretty poor and cell signal was usually spotty at the house but this was somewhat expected and not much of an issue as we were too busy enjoying ourselves to really need it!

I can't say enough great things about this house. The view is absolutely stunning. We had a party of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beach was a short walk away and plenty of restaurants and bars a short taxi drive away. The pool was a nice escape from the heat and humidity when we needed it and was kept nice and clear during our stay. The check in process was easy and communication with property owner/manager was seemless. The entire group loved the house and we strongly recommend it. You will not be disappointed! I would definitely come back to Puerto Escondido and to this house. . .

This property was every bit as wonderful as advertised! So beautiful with the infinity pool and all of the outdoor decks overlooking the ocean with whales swimming by!! More than we could have asked for. Each sunset was more beautiful than the previous. We could not have asked fir a more perfect place to relax.

Wonderful property for family of 6 adults and 3 children. Kids were in the pool in the morning, then we’d go to the beach and back in the pool! TV room was great break for them. Lots of room with great beds and pillows. Easy access to beaches.

This house is comfortable, luxurious and well maintained and the owner was supremely helpful and responsive above and beyond, with advice and quick responses to simple and complex questions. Housekeepers come twice per week and keep the place sparkling, and furnishings are comfortable and clean. Great for groups with lots of separation between bedrooms and different large gathering areas. Convenient location in a small neighborhood an easy walk from my favorite beach in town (Manzanillo) and a 20 minute walk (6 minute drive) from all amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning. Houses are close together and we had noisy neighbors one night, but the owner was quick to try to mitigate the situation, which was appreciated.

Our family had the most relaxing and fun time at this beautiful property. The home is so open with astounding views of the ocean beyond the infinity pool. Our grandkids had so much fun swimming and playing in the pool in fact we didn't venture too far because we had everything we needed at the house. Having 5 bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom was perfect for our large family. I highly recommend this property.

We travelled as a group of 10 for a fitness retreat. We did workouts & yoga on the pool deck as well as aquasize in the pool. Such an amazing experience! Flo, our cook was excellent. Delicious food! Thank you!

Luke was awesome to deal with right from the start. Always quick to respond and very helpful. His property manager was also very gracious and assisted us greatly. We enjoyed the cook Flor, she did an amazing job for us! The house is very nice with spectacular views. We were able to watch whales and dolphins from the pool! This property is in walking distance to fantastic beaches, shopping and the markets. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family. We had a couple minor issues during our stay but they were quickly rectified. The wifi is really slow so that was frustrating for some in our group but other than that, it’s a fantastic house! Hope we can visit again!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything was coordinated well. The property owner, Pati, was very attentive. The property is located next to a very tranquil beach. Getting around town was very convenient. This was definitely one of the best experiences I have had in a long time which allowed me to unwind. We recommend this property. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing experience for our family on every level!!! Luke was wonderful and responsive to deal with. The house was amazing and worth every single dollar for our special life occasion. Every bedroom has a bathroom and 4/5 have a spectacular view. Patricia met us upon arrival and showed us around; she even dropped us off at the store. Flor was an amazing cook for very reasonable prices. She cooked cleaned etc.. and very sweet. Only suggestion would be to have warh to hot showers and a way to play music. Other than that, no complaints. Thank you again Luke for the wonderful experience!

Luke’s home is beautiful and our stay was absolutely amazing! The kids were in the pool nonstop. Manzanillo beach is practically in your backyard and Judy the cook cooks up delicious meals. We also found some yummy local spots and hung out at Zicatela and Carrizalillo. I was so sad to leave this beautiful gem of a home. The property is gorgeous and the art in the house is stunning. We loved everything about this mansion. The property manager and the other workers were excellent. The location was great - so close to two great beaches: Manzanillo and Carizalillo. And an easy walk to the restaurants on Rinconada and Adoquin. Luke arranged for a cook for us for the first night and the food was fantastic.We loved the pool and the view is fantastic, including whales and flying fish on a regular basis. We recently returned to Canadian winter after spending 11 glorious days at Casa Kuhn in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico. There were 10 of us- two families- including 6 kids (young adults actually, ranging from 18-26) so the 5 bedroom house was perfect for us. The house is located in a gated community overlooking the Pacific, steps away from Playas Manzanillo and Angelito, it's about a 5 minute walk down steps to these lovely beaches with shops and lots of small beach restaurants. But because it was Christmas time those two beaches were VERY crowded with vacationers, brought in on tour busses that lined the road outside the gate. Even though it was so close, and was very swimmable (other beaches are less so due to the big waves and undertow) we actually only spent one day at that beach, preferring to walk the 15 minutes Playa Carrizalillo or take a cab to the cool 'surfer' beach at the end of Playa Zicalela called La Punta. The house was also close enough to walk to town to get groceries, cash from the ATM and shopping. Upon entering the house you are stuck by the stunning view of the Pacific Ocean (the sunsets are magical and became a daily ritual with cocktails and snacks) from the open living room/dining room. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner's local representative Patty, who showed us around, gave us useful information about the area (where to get groceries, how to call a taxi, get to the beaches, etc..) She spoke perfect English (which many people in Puerto don't so brush up on your Spanish!)), and was very responsive a few more times during our stay when we needed assistance with a broken AC unit and water delivery. The house is very well kept, clean well equipped kitchen, unique art, lots of towels for the beach and spacious bedrooms. The only things to mention are that the wifi is spotty and can be slow when everyone is using it, and there is little to no hot water so showers were 'cool' some days. It's very warm outside, so it wasn't the worst thing in the world but that should be remedied if possible. There's AC in each bedroom and fans everywhere that work well. The owner Luke was amazing to deal with from the time we booked right through during our stay. He responded very quickly to all communications, arranged a cook and a day of fishing and even arranged to have a new AC unit installed on New Year's eve when one of the bedroom units broke down. Very impressive and much appreciated. Would we return to Casa Kuhn- 100%

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. Better than the pictures (more spacious, the pool is bigger, etc). We had a group of all ages: adults, teenagers and even a 3 year old. We found the rooms and layout allowed a perfect balance for us to enjoy group time together without feeling crowded and also to have time away in our rooms (all but one with a view to the ocean). We loved walking to the beach for the day (we walked to all three from the house) and then returning to have dinner, watch the incredible light on the ocean and cool off and play in the pool. Really spectacular. There were a few issues with small things, but Patricia was quickly responsive, which we very much appreciated. Would come again!

The house was clean and in good working order. We had 5 people staying at the house Had room for 5 couples to sleep comfortably. The property manager recomended 2?woman that cooked meals for us for a nominal fee. Overall I would book this house again if I ever return to puerto escondido.

This beautiful Villa couldn't have been more perfect for our group of 8 (4 couples) to spend 2 weeks. It offered plenty of space to gather in the common areas, kitchen dining etc. The bedrooms were spacious and private. Love, love, loved the pool and its stunning views! Many margaritas were enjoyed around this pool each afternoon. You almost didn't want to leave such paradise. We arranged to have Flor, the chef cook for us a couple of nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Housekeeper was also great and made sure all was spotless. Location perfect...within walking distance to Manzanillo Beach, the Rinconada for dinner or down to the Zicatela. Luke, the owner was fantastic to deal with and quick to arrange anything we needed. Thank you so much for letting us stay at this piece of paradise! Our family had a wonderful 10 days at Casa Kuhn and we wouldn't have changed one thing about this luxurious property. We flew into Huatulco and Luke helped us arrange transportation to PE which was very affordable and saved us a night in Mexico City. When we arrived to the house we were shocked that it looked even better in real life than in the photos (usually it is the other way around :))! The villa was very clean upon our arrival and we had no problems during our stay. The pool cannot be beat, the best view ever. We basically lounged by the pool made drinks and found it very hard to leave the place. We did arrange for massages at the house and had a cook for about half of the nights which I strongly recommend (my husband was thoroughly impressed and wants me to learn the recipes!!!) There is a great beach right below the house that we frequented for margaritas and some great pico de gallo. My kids absolutely feel in love with Puerto Escondido so we will definitely be back! I am counting down the days already...

The location is excellent. Close to 3 main beaches for surfing or swimming. A short walk or taxi ride to purchase all your food and drink needs. The home is beautiful and holds 10 persons comfortably. The 5 bedrooms, each with their separate bathrooms are very comfortable and clean. The common areas are perfect for catching up on the days activities and enjoying the wonderful pool. The kitchen has everything you need to keep a large group fed and there is excellent dining nearby. Alain was there to greet us and provide some helpful tips on dining and getting around. We used Judy to prepare some special meals for us and were not disappointed. We celebrated a most memorable 60th birthday and were thrilled with the home. Thank you for helping create great memories. My family met up in Puerto Escondido for Thanksgiving this year and had a fantastic time staying in Luke's home. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was breathtaking and was a perfect spot to hang out at all times of the day. The calm Manzanillo Beach was just minutes away on foot, making it easy to bring our baby to and from the beach throughout the day or run home if we forgot something or wanted to take a quick nap in an airconditioned bedroom. Luke put us in touch with a cook who made a number of delicious meals for us, as well. Overall a fantastic stay and we are already dreaming of going back!

I highly recommend this villa to everyone wanting a property thats offers luxury, privacy, security and the most amazing pool. We've stayed in villa's all around the world and this one by far was the most equipped with bathrooms for every bedroom, a chef's kitchen and great bbq area, Smart TV with Netflix etc. The pool was by far the highlight and we spent most of our time swimming and soaking up the spectacular view. What a lovely villa! We booked Casa Kuhn for 8 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The place is very well taken care of and looks even better in person than what the pictures show! The view is incredible and we spent most of our nights in the pool watching the sunset. The owner helped us set up a cook for 4 of the nights that we were there, I highly recommend having the cook, it was cheap and delicious! He set up a fishing tour and we caught 2 massive what I believe were yellow fin tuna, which made for the best fish tacos I have ever had! Our group of 10 friends had a wonderful week at Casa Kuhn! The location, overlooking the ocean and just a short walk to Playa Manzanillo, the seawalk, the Rinconada or the Adoquin was ideal. The villa is well maintained and very comfortable. We had one small maintenance concern and it was dealt with immediately. It is in a quiet, safe neighbourhood.

Casa Kuhn es el lugar perfecto donde puedes olvidarte del ruido de la ciudad y sus preocupaciones. La casa es increible y nuestra estancia fue perfecto. Viajábamos 6 adultos, 4 niños y un bebe. La alberca fue perfecta para los niños, quienes no se separaron de ella y hay amplia vista a la alberca, podíamos estar tranquilos por su seguridad. Hemos visitado a Puerto Escondido 5 veces y esta casa definitivamente tiene la mejor ubicacion y vista. Fue una experiencia de las mejores! Saludos, Maritza

We had the pleasure to stay at this house and didn't want to leave! We were a group of 7 adults and had a perfect stay. We feel in love with Puerto Escondido and this house. This was a last minute trip for us and we stumbled upon this property and couldn't have gotten luckier! The bedrooms were amazing and very private. We walked down to the beach to enjoy a margarita a couple of times but we found it very hard to leave this house and ended up spending most of our days around the pool. I can honestly say that this is the nicest place I have ever stayed!!! Hope to be back soon.....
