Stayed here August 2024 for 5 nights. Our group was in Crowsnest Pass for a family wedding. Very close to the flower farm venue. The surrounding area was beautiful. The kitchen, living room, dining room and backyard were an excellent size to accommodate us all. The host (Paula) was very efficient and thorough with messages about the property.

Infused with personality and stocked with everything a group would need for a comfortable stay, Larkspur Lodge is a total delight. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces and perfectly located to explore Crowsnest, I would recommend this location to everyone!

Our two families came with 4 young children. This house is big and has lots of room for families. We brought play pen and bassinets for the children and had lots of room in the bedrooms.
This house is definitely older and the stairs upstairs are a bit scary but you kind of get use to them. There were some cleanliness concerns we had that we discussed with the owner and they will make sure they’re addressed.
If you’re looking for a rental that has space and outdoor room this place is great.

This property worked out very well for our family reunion. It is spacious and well stocked. The only concern we had was it was a very warm week in the Crowsnest Pass and we were only provided with two fans to cover the four bedrooms upstairs. Also, we could not open any windows on the main floor to get some air flow. Other then that it was a great property.

The Larkspur Lodge has been the perfect accommodation for our Sinister 7 team for several years. The many bedrooms and common spaces allow quiet or social time. The lodge is well-equipped and provides us with everything we need for a weekend of fun.

Great character and amazing property. Very unique home with nothing missing for a holiday. Host makes sure every detail is looked after!

The house is full of historic decoration. Some of cooking species such as coffee , chocolate powder and tea bags are out of date over years. Appreciate to have the air fryer It gives us a great help in cooking Enjoy the size of the room A bit scary to walk the stair up and down , especially for elderly with bad knee and a tall guy.

The property on the whole was comfortable and interesting. We all enjoyed the period furniture as well as the 70s vibe. The yard is gorgeous and we used it when weather was cooperating.
All in all I would suggest this property to anyone.

Myself and 4 friends stayed at this property for 2 nights, and it was very cool to stay in such a historic home, in a cute town. The house and rooms were as described, and the host provided great instructions and was excellent with communicating regarding any questions we had.
The yard was wonderful including a fire pit (which we didn't get a chance to use, but it's nice to have). The house is large and would have been comfortable even with a larger group - there was lots of seating and decent sized bedrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and appliances you could ever need, and spices, cooking oils and aluminum foil etc.
For us, it was a good location to explore the CNP.
I would recommend this home, and I would stay again! Thanks for a great weekend.

We had a lovely family thanksgiving here. The kitchen is the best equipped of any that we have stayed at. Beautiful mountain views, cozy living space and bedrooms for all. Communication with the hosts was terrific too. Can’t wait to return.

This is a lovely, cozy spot with an awesome living area and working fireplace. Perfect as a home base for checking out the sites in the area. The house itself has a long and interesting history, though it suffers from a few of the issues that any older house will have. We loved all the personal touches and plan to visit again!

4 of us ventured out to Larkspur lodge for a weekend golf trip out to the Pass and had such a great stay in the home.
So much character, great location, all the amenities you need in the home are there.
Paula was an amazing host as well. Answering all of our questions, as absurd as they were, within minutes.
Thanks for a fantastic stay. We all had a great time!

Awesome location right at the foot of turtle mountain. Our group loved the outdoor space in the backyard and much coffee was enjoyed with views of the mountain. Kitchen had everything we needed for making all our meals and is very spacious. The living and dining rooms also had ample space which was great for socializing, eating, and making some puzzles that the house provided.
Hillcrest is a superb location. We visited Frank Slide, some waterfalls, Chinook lake, and ran along the crowsnest community trail. Beautiful nature in the region.
Communication with host is easy and fluid. Highly recommend visiting crowsnest pass using this vrbo!

Our 3rd time at the lodge, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Definitely the most unique, quirky, and well equipped rental we’ve ever used.

Our children love staying in the comfort of hotels but this time, the boss (my Wife) needed a place to stay that has more than its amenities.
As we entered the property, the smell of wooden walls and floors greeted us. The overall vibe was cabinlike but the space was generous for five people and more.
We had the old Manager's house all to ourselves. There was a dedicated living room, dining and kitchen, with a great stove and library, which we spent majority of our time during our stay.
It was a rich man's place for everyday people like us.
Cleanliness and upkeep wasn't an issue but definitely could be improved.
We got our money's worth and would 100% return next year Godwilling if ever we visit the area again as it is close to a lot of creeks, lakes and hiking trails.
Aah, for sure, a home away from home.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at the Larkspur Lodge and it is everything that is promised and more.
The numerous rooms and common spaces allow people to hide away or come together as desired.

We only used the place to sleep and have a quick meal each night but it was a great place and close to town where we needed to be.

My wife and I had an amazing time at this property, it’s way bigger than the pictures show. It definitely has an old school lodge feel to it with tons of charm. It’s also located in a perfect spot if you’re looking to explore the area. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it!!!

My dear friends and I, four in total, had an absolutely wonderful stay for three nights. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms well laid out, and certainly appreciated the two bathrooms. Paula responded quickly whenever we had questions, although we were provided with all the information prior to our stay and the expectations for our departure. We were totally engrossed by the history this home holds, and all the artwork throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped and modern, but we choose to eat out at some of the local restaurants. We would definitely book again, and look forward to our next stay, it was a much needed retreat for all of us.

We have enjoyed both our stays at the lodge. The location is great for fishing and exploring around the Crowsnest area. Even though the barbecue was out of commission, the hosts provided an alternative griddle which worked well. We truly appreciate the amenities at the lodge and locale. Would recommend the lodge to anyone!

Paula and Rob were so welcoming and their place was a retro getaway with everything we needed. Big yard, gorgeous views and a cozy interior allowed our group to spread out and then come together as needed. They have this place packed with everything you would need in the kitchen. Very hospitable and responsive.

This is unique and lovely property and a perfect place to make a home base while enjoying some activities in the Crowsnest Pass. We skied at Castle which was about 35 minutes away and did some cross-country skiing at Chinook Recreation area which is about 20 minutes away. The house has everything you need if you like to cook and chill out after a day outdoors. Great wifi, lots of games and even access to Netflix. The house is quite spacious, comfortable and has tons of character.

This one of a kind historical property is amazing. The fireplace in the great room, the big windows looking out on the mountains, the claw foot tub from the 1920s, and so many cool bunk beds for kids. All the amenities you’ll ever need for a relaxing stay. Tons of games and books and antique oddities to check out. Paula is super responsive and helpful.

My family and I booked a long weekend stay and had a fantastic, memorable time, everything about the house itself was amazing, such a wonderful history, lots of space for everyone who stayed, yet still so cozy, great scenery surrounding us in every direction, this house and get away totally exceeded our expectations...we hope to make a return visit in the very near future.
