We had my husband and I and two of our adult children with their families. Perfect place with plenty of bedrooms and baths. The kids loved the pool and the game room. The view from the backyard is incredible. We would stay here again for sure.

This home is both very spacious and very comfortable. It easily accommodated our three families (9 bodies in total). The beds are dreamy plus each side of the house had its own thermostat which came in handy since 2 families liked it cold and one family did not. :] The kitchen is HUGE, with separate ginormous refrigerator and equally large freezer. TWO dishwashers, a warming tray, a separate ice maker built into the island, tons of cooking equipment and utensils... so easy to entertain!
Towels (bath and beach towels for the pool) were plentiful and there was a washer and dryer inside for our use.
We had a wonderful time there: the pictures don't do it justice.

Amazing property!
This property lived up to all of our expectations and more! The view and the yard are amazing. Pictures do not do it justice!
The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The gourmet kitchen has everything anyone would ever need. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games in the garage. The house is spacious and is set up for multiple families to stay comfortably. The location is also great, easy access to the expressway, close to grocery stores and restaurants and all the fun attractions in San Diego.
Sharon, the host, is wonderful! She always responded to my emails promptly before we arrived and while we were there we had one small issue (we couldn't get the key to work in the front door) which she also responded to promptly.
I would highly reccomend this property.

Great Thanksgiving stay in Escondido.
Eleven of us stayed in Sharon’s house for four nights at Thanksgiving, and it was a wonderful choice. There was enough space to be all together and to split into smaller groups for games or other activities. The photos of the house were accurate and the house was well maintained and in good condition. We especially appreciated the well equipped kitchen that allowed many people to cook at once. It was handy to have the extra oven and fridge in the guest house. Sharon was very responsive, both ahead of time and during our stay. We would happily return for another occasion, and highly recommend Sharon and her house.

Outstanding Vacation Spot!
We spent 4 wonderful nights at this amazing property! The home is beautiful and has stunning views. The location was ideal for our extended family with the San Diego Safari Park a 10 minute drive away and family friendly vineyards nearby. Some in our group traveled a short distance to the beach and even attended a baseball game. The pool and jacuzzi provided us with additional enjoyment and adults and kids had fun in the recreation room. Our hostess, Sharon was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Sharon, for a memorable time,

Reasons to rent this house:
1) Great host!
2) A dream kitchen with top of the line stove, refrigerator, freezer, warming oven (we used it twice a day every day!) and built in ice machine that kept all of us in ice! The Island is big enough for 10 people to work around at once.
3) The outside with the fabulous pool and hot tub; lots of lounging areas; an incredible view all which leads to relaxation!
4) A beautifully appointed and wonderfully comfortable home
5) The house is one level - no stairs.
6) The home is better than advertised; and my family has challenged me to find something better for next year - I am pretty sure I can't and we will be back!

Amazing property, everything it said it was!
We had an absolute blast staying at this property. We ended up having 7 adult couples for a total of 14 adults. The place has 5 dedicated rooms with at least a queen or larger and an additional bedroom with 2 queens. The house fit everyone just fine and we loved that the garage that had ping pong, basketball, and corn hole. The pool and hot tub hit the spot and we loved the view of the foothills. This is a great house for large groups, you won't be dissapointed!

Our 2 week stay here was great & lots of R&R. Home is beautiful with plenty of room, huge kitchen! Sharon is such an accommodating hostess, answering and helping whenever we needed anything. She helped us find a perfect ranch to take our kids too and set up tennis lessons for my daughter. She even picked up my hubby when our rental car broke down on him! Amazing 49th Birthday Celebration
From start to end this was an amazing stay! Sharon the property manager and owner was very accommodating and a great person to work with. This stay was during excruciating circumstances but the house and pool made it even more bearable. There were 12 adults and the house provided more than enough space. This celebration was a birthday party and a personal chef prepared dinner in the beautiful kitchen that had everything he needed to have a seated dinner for 12 guests. The bedroom were nice size with comfortable bedding. The view every morning from the big open windows or the pool area was phenomenal. Sharon checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, she walked us through the house to show us every feature. The garage had a large assortment of amenities that you could use at the pool. The poolside grill and bar area was a great area to have mimosas in the morning and cocktails throughout the day. We absolutely loved the house and the hostess. Thank you for making our stay during this pandemic a wonderful experience!

Great House for Families, But Some Important Things to Know
This is a beautiful, serene property that made for a really fun family vacation. The best features are the beautiful pool and hot tub, the cozy living room, and the game garage. Note that the guest house shown in pictures and mentioned earlier reviews is not included in the rental. Also, the owner stays onsite in the guest house/casita during your stay. Neither of these things is made clear in the listing. Fortunately, the host took great care to smooth things over with us after we pointed this out. The owner lives in house when it's not rented, so be aware her clothes, toiletries, etc are in the dressers, closets, bathroom drawers. This seems a bit weird for a VRBO (perhaps not an Airbnb), but on the other hand, it means the house is well stocked with items. Overall, we would recommend staying here, but with the advance knowledge of these things.

Together Family Fun
The home is beautiful with a view and pool that was spectacular. Our family came from three different states and this location was the perfect meeting point that provided us a fun and relaxing place to spend time together. The little cousins had an great time getting to know each other splashing and swimming in the pool. The home is large and allowed us to spread out with plenty of space for the kids. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood and the perfect location close to beaches, parks, and major attractions. The property manager was so kind and thoughtful which helped us get settled in quickly. I would definitely recommend this property and will hopefully be staying again with the family.

Wonderful home with all the equip that you need in the kitchen; towels, huge game room and just a run house. Only drawback were the spiders that we encountered that were big and scary to me, but my nephew hunted and killed them so all was well. If ur going to the Diego area and have a large group this is the best place to stay. Sharon the owner is great!

Beautiful house, amazing pool and outdoor space!
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home! I specifically booked it for the single story, the en-suite bathrooms and the outdoor space. We had 7 adults stay at the house (ranging from age 82 to 25), and had another group of 5 in-town adults come for occasional meals and pool time. The fabulous kitchen allowed cooking for 12 with no problem- every appliance, gadget and pot/pan we needed! Sharon is lovely, and was quick to respond to any question. Each of the bedrooms is large, comfortable, and private. The house was a great floor plan for our group to gather and sit- both inside and (mostly) outside. The covered patio area poolside was especially nice during the sunniest part of the day. We spent time at Camp Pendelton, Leoness Winery in Temecula, at Pechanga Casino, in Carlsbad and in La Jolla. Easy access from San Diego Airport. My Dad was thrilled to get a tee time at Maderas through GolfNow, and I enjoyed walking up and down the hills in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this beautiful home, and make sure you leave plenty of "down time" to enjoy the gorgeous views and the epitome of California outdoor living!

We enjoyed the large beautiful kitchen and living room areas. The pool and spa were very nice also.
We spent most of our week at the house but did several day trips to Temecula and a drive down the coast to LaJolla .

Comfortable and Spacious Family Reunion
We rented Sharon's property for our first family reunion. We had 13 people, including a toddler, and the home was a perfect match! There was more than enough space for all.
The property is located about 30 minutes from the San Diego airport. We had 4 vehicles and there was plenty of parking for all. The home is positioned high on a ridge with the living spaces over looking the pool and a gorgeous valley.
Each bedroom had a private bath which made it great when we were all trying to get ready at once. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the beautiful outdoor area which included a dark bottom pool, spa, BBQ and gas fire pit. There was also a game room where we had family ping pong and basketball toss competitions.
The gourmet kitchen had everything you could possibly want and then some. There were two dishwashers, a large gas stove, a good size refrigerator, full size freezer, and a whole host of appliances. The kitchen flowed into the family/living area and was super comfortable. There was plenty of seating for all of us to cheer on our Arizona Wildcat football team on the large screen TV.
Sharon was so accommodating and helpful. We had a lot of questions prior to arrival and she helped us work through all of them. She even had a Pack "n Play for our toddler.
We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to working with Sharon in the future!

SPACIOUS HOME WITH LOTS OF PRIVACY
My husband and I asked our daughter to find a nice rental that would accommodate six adults and one teenager. We were traveling to California to attend our granddaughters graduation.
Our daughter found Sharon’s home for us and let me tell you we were not disappointed when we drove up to this beautiful executive home.
Sharon greeted us the moment we pulled into the driveway. Our first impression was the entrance to the front of the home. We just loved the iron gate that led us to a gorgeous double front entry door.
I knew right then that we were going to enjoy this home. Sharon had a vision of her dream home. So she designed and built what she wanted. Lots of prominent design elements throughout the house. I feel lucky that I was able to spend a week of pure enjoyment in her home.
This home is amazing just check the website let the pictures speak for themselves. The home combines stunning views of a ridge and outdoor living with patios extending from numerous rooms. When you live in MA you really appreciate the luxury of the outdoor lifestyle of CA.
The location is ideal. The home is in a quiet neighborhood yet only minutes away from the Westfield North County Mall, downtown Escondido, super markets, restaurants and interstate 15.
For an ideal vacation in this California location we highly recommend Sharon’s home.

Fantastic Escondido Vacation Home
This was our second family reunion at Sharon's fantastic vacation home. Our family so enjoyed our time two years ago, all they talked about since then was returning. Three master bedrooms, one for each couple - triplet boys and their wives - and a king master suite for us. A cottage where our 6 grandkids slept. This property has everything you could imagine; pool, spa, outdoor bar and barbecue, fire pit area, outdoor dining, a huge kitchen and living room, a huge garage where the kids played ping pong and shot baskets and just a great view from high on the hill. Sharon's home is stocked with anything you could need in a vacation home, just bring your own food and drinks. One of our grandkids said she wants our families to buy it so we live in it, Nana, Grampy and Auntie to home school and her father and uncles fine a job! We will be back again in two years. Dreams Come True in this Magnificent Property
My husband and I have traveled all over the country, and we are very particular about accommodations. We only the book the best, because we believe it’s worth it. I have to say, when we pulled up to the property we were surprised and delighted. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice. We fell in love with this place: serendipitous aptly describes the atmosphere. There is so much love invested in this estate which is really a majestic home and that is no small feat in a rental property. The house and cottage each have a distinct personality and we were honored to be able to enjoy the warmth Sharon and the estate offered us. Everything you need to create lasting family memories is there for you, down to the salt water pool, large hot tub, outdoor grill and bar, coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels. We especially appreciated having a large gas grill that is built into a spectacular poolside bar. We also enjoyed the large covered porch to escape the sun and enjoy the surroundings of the amazing views atop the ridge overlooking the valley. The fully equipped and perfectly organized kitchen was perfect for romantic dinners and the king size bed with luxury sheets was extremely comfortable. The house and cottage looks like properties that you would see featured on television or in a magazine, inside and out.
Our amazement did not end with the first impression either. Throughout the week, we were continually impressed at how Sharon had seemed to have thought of everything we could possibly need to be more comfortable. Beautiful sights and sounds, tranquility and privacy, relaxation and bliss in the pool-which we spent quite a bit of time in. Another wonderful feature of the property was the 6 car garage converted into a recreation room perfect for adults and children. Sadly, due to our schedule we were unable to utilize the pool, ping pong table, electric basketball net and so much more!!! However, there is always next time.
My husband and I made lifelong memories on this vacation and all we can say is what a gift Sharon and her Sheridan Glen Estate presented to us for my 50th birthday. We will definitely return as we were able to experience the splendor and tranquility of this extraordinary vacation home. Beautiful home in a great location
We met up with extended family in LA and traveled down the coast to spend the week near San Diego. It was well worth the drive, and the house exceeded all our expectations. The host, Sharon, was lovely and tried to ensure we felt at home. She had fresh flowers waiting for us and walked us through instructions on using all the appliances, washer/dryer, hot tub, etc. My husband and I are runners, and we found it easy to get down to a good running trail. We were also essentially 30 mins or less away from many area attractions (such as the Safari Park, Legoland, and Balboa Park) yet away from the hustle and bustle so we could enjoy family time grilling out and swimming in the pool. If San Diego makes it on our family vacation list again, we'll definitely reach out to Sharon for another visit.

Great house, a great location, and a great owner!
My wife and I had all four daughters, son-in-laws, and six grandsons in for a family reunion in Sothern California. The house is beautiful! Everything in the house is QUALITY. With 14 people we easily fit into the large home and mother-in-law suite with room to spare. We especially liked the pool and spa which was our prime entertainment other than Disneyland and the Safari Park The house is less than 10 minutes from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and only about 1 hour 30 minutes to Disneyland.
We were amazed by the house and its furnishings. The kitchen was huge and had all of the features desired including two dishwashers, a professional gas cooktop, a Sub Zero refrigerator plus a Sub Zero freezer, ice maker, trash compactor and more. Most meals, however, we cooked on the gas grill outside and eaten near the pool There are ceilings fans galore throughout the house. We never needed air conditioning as the house is near the top of a hill and we always had a gentle breeze going through the house.
The grandsons loved the pool and the spa, but they also spent a lot of time in the 6 car garage with ping pong, basketball challenge and playing Guitar Hero on the 60" TV. The main TV in the family room was hardly used as we kept busy with other things to do. I can't even remember ever hearing an "I'm Bored" from our grandsons (ages 9-16) so it went well.
Sharon was great to work with. She instructed my oldest daughter on using all of the features of the house and pool and answered several questions for us. We were able to spend some time talking with Sharon and found her to be very personable. She had designed the house as a 'dream house' with all of the features and quality that you would want. The house itself is very impressively built.
I could go on and on about the house and property, but one thing is the most important to say, we definitely, definitely want to rent it again if we can manage to get all of us together again in the future. A wonderful house and a wonderful vacation.

Christmas Vacation! (for real!)
This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 15 people to spend Christmas together and celebrate my mother-in-laws 80th birthday! Sharon is fabulous to deal with as well - she went out of her way to ensure everything was handled for our trip from putting up some Christmas decorations to heating up the pool for us in advance of our arrival, to getting us great discounted tickets for the Wild Animal Park and ensured our stay was perfect. It was not easy to find a place that could host 14 adults and a 1 1/2 year old! It was wonderful as each couple could have their own bedroom and bathroom. We stocked up at the Costco that was close by and made all our dinners in the fabulous kitchen. Everyone was able to have a seat for dinners, using both the dining room table and kitchen bar. The huge center island was so wonderful for serving and preparation. Having 2 dishwashers for our large group was key! One of our favorite things was spending our mornings out on the patio by the pool and the firepit. Everyone got their coffee and enjoyed the sunrise and talking in this warm and inviting area. We BBQ'd lunches and also made some great steaks on the outside grill. The pools/patio area of the property was loved by our entire group - the views are spectacular and sunsets amazing! The kids also really enjoyed playing ping pong and basketball in the game room. We all spent alot of time in the hottub and thoroughly enjoyed it each day! The spacious living room allowed space for our entire group to play games together at night and enjoy our annual Christmas tradition of watching, "Christmas Vacation" on the DVD player and big screen TV. It was absolutely quiet at night and made for a peaceful and relaxing sleep for all! We spent one day at the Wild Animal Park which is literally about 5 minutes from the house. Had an easy drive to the airport from the house as well. Highly recommend this property for a large group in particular!

Dream Vacation Home
Best vacation paradise we have ever stayed at. In July we celebrated our triplet boys' 40th birthday. This included a total of 9 adults and 6 grand-kids. This executive home is fabulous, on the top of a hill looking south. We rented the house and cottage which gave us 5 bedrooms, each with it's own bath, plus a guest bathroom and outdoor shower - which the kids really enjoyed. The outdoor area is fantastic, a large pool with a nice spa at one end. The kids rarely got out of the pool, being too busy with all the floating toys which were included. The adults played water volleyball with them. Then there is the covered outdoor bar and barbeque, the barbeque pit where we roasted marshmallows for s'mores, and the outdoor dining table where we ate dinners. The kitchen is huge with everything needed to cook. The large pantry is filled with all kinds of supplies. The living room accommodated our large group with it's big screen TV, but we were really too busy outside to enjoy it. The bedrooms are large and the master enormous. We went to Legoland, African Safari and the beach which were all within a half hour drive. We had ping pong tournaments and mini basketball challenges in the large garage. Our family will never forget this vacation; we were spoiled in luxury. Sharon is just a wonder to work with, which helped make our vacation so enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this vacation home to our friends.

GEORGEOUS HOME/Family Vacation
This fabulous home and guest home was rented for a family vacation with 13 adults and 1 child. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a big plus. The Master bedroom was outstanding in every way. The kitchen was gorgeous with lots of supplies. Every room in this fabulous home was very clean and well maintained. The backyard was breathtaking! Beautiful view, so peaceful and quiet. I had my coffee out there every morning. The pool was used everyday along with the game room. In the evenings, the spa and the fire pit was a great place to gather for conversation of past memories and making more memories. We all had a wonderful time, I didn't want to leave. Sharon is awesome and so easy to work with. Thank You Sharon for sharing your georgous home with us, it's perfect in every way. You can't go wrong in renting this georgeous home for any occasion.
