La maison comprend 3 chambres (dont une suite parentale avec une salle de bains attenante), trois salles de bain complètes et 3 combos canapé / dormeur. Très belle maison dans une grande région avec des tonnes d'activités pour profiter de la pêche de classe mondiale, du canotage, du ski nautique, du kayak et des tubes sur le lac White, la rivière White, le lac Michigan, le lac Muskegon et la rivière Muskegon à la randonnée dans la forêt nationale de Manistee . Il y a des pistes cyclables / pédestres à quelques pas de la route où vous pourrez vous promener. Medbery Park sur le lac Michigan est à seulement 8 minutes en voiture.

We had a great time at this lakeside property. Although it was very near town, we felt like we were far away from our busy day-to-day lives. The house was comfortable and fit our family of 4 adults just right. The kitchen was very modern and nicely equipped and we all had fun cooking in it. We loved the open concept, too. The bike trail being so close was a bonus!
We would definitely stay here again.

This property definitely exceeded our expectations. Stephen was very accessible through texts and emails to accommodate our every need. Like any accommodations there may be issues and although they were small Stephen promptly and thoroughly resolved the few issues that we did have. The house was amazingly supplied with all of the little things that most rentals do not have. The kitchen was especially nice with beautiful cabinets and an abundance of pots, pans, utensils and dinnerware.

We stayed over labor day weekend and it was amazing! Stephen was so quick to answer text, the house was stocked with everything we needed and it was very clean! The only thing we would have liked was a swimming area but there places to go near by if we wanted to swim. This was an amazing get away for our family! The house was very spacious, the bedrooms were great and had very comfortable beds! I would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Montague! A few of us tried out the kayaks, we used the Adirondack chairs and fire pit one evening. The kids enjoyed using the swim rings. The cottage is close to the bike trail which made it an easy walk into the downtown area. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen! Communication with the property owner was easy…we had a great week!

We we really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for out family. Besides being well equipped, it was very clean and in a very convenient location close to town. The only hiccup we had was that we brought a boat and a wave runner so we had two trailers. With multiple cars for our family and two trailers, there wasn't enough room for our larger trailer. Not realizing the driveway was so steep, I should have verified logistics of bringing multiple trailers with to the property. But overall, great stay and great host!

This property is very nice. It has great space for an extended family and was well stocked. It was a short drive to the beach/Medbury Park. We enjoyed being able to sit at the dock on the lake in the mornings. We used the fire pit and kayaks and walked with close trail access to get into town. Enjoyable week with plenty to do.

Perfect for my children and grandchildren to get together. Nice quality of bedding and towels, all the basics provided. We rented a pontoon and the dock was great. Also fishing from the dock.

The whole family had a wonderful time, from time on the water, to enjoying the open floor plan of the home. All the beds are very comfortable and the canopy of trees helped shade the rooms from the early morning sun.

We love this property and have stayed here many times. We have so many precious memories of boating, fishing, bike riding and sitting by the lake. The house is beautiful and Stephen provides all of the comforts of home. We highly recommend!

House is comfortable; host was easy to communicate with. Description is accurate. Property does have lake frontage; however, during our stay, it was not user friendly. There is not a sandy beach; algae was rampant and the geese are frequent visitors (and where there are geese, these is plenty of geese feces). This made it impossible to allow my grandkids to swim at the property. We made daily trips to local beaches, which was an unexpected added chore…but found the recommended beaches and other suggested attractions a fun outing. The deck is quiet and pleasant but quite a distance from the lake front. The steep drive was excellant daily exercise. And the surrounding neighborhood is nice for walking. Property lines are well defined and neighbors keep to themselves.

Lovely vacation home
Interior was gorgeous with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was enjoyable for cooking and hosting. The backyard doesn’t have as much privacy as what the photos kind of led us to believe. But it is lake front and pretty. Neighbors houses and yards are right side by side. The dock was a little wobbly and since we didn’t have a boat or anything with us we didn’t use it that much. Would be a great place for someone who had a boat and wants to take it out to Lake Michigan.

Perfect in every way
Cannot say enough good things about this property. The host thought of, and provided, everything we could have needed. The kayaks were perfect for taking out on the lake. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around. Enjoyed smores at the fire pit. The inside is well kept and as advertised. Not a single complaint!

Steep incline. Not a big deal for us, but can be for older guests or people
With ambulatory issues. Also there was no light above the kitchen table which made the room very dark at night. The lake was beautiful and the home was clean

Summer 2021 Vacation
I would recommend this house to others. It was very clean and tons of room. The bedrooms were perfect and big so we had plenty of room to spread out. The driveway was a little bit steep but we all enjoyed ourselves.

Love the house with dock.
The house snd the dock are really nice. We have stayed at this property for the past 2 years. The owner is making updates every year. Only downside was we did not realize we were being videotaped with neighbors surveillance cameras. It just made our family vacation with grandsons a little weird.

Wonderful Family Vacation Location
This home is well laid out for extended-family vacations, with 3 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, and 3 full bathrooms. It has been recently updated and was very clean and comfortable. If you enjoy biking on paved trails with no traffic, this is a great spot to stay. There is a nice view of the lake, but it does not have a beach or swimming area. There is a dock available for rental boats or one you bring and launch from a nearby ramp. Two Kayaks are included that can be launched from the dock. You also have access to the locked garage for storing your bikes, “toys”, and/or car. The location is convenient to Montague and White Lake downtowns, both by car and bike, and to several state parks and Lake Michigan beaches. The owner is a great host, quickly responding to questions.

Good home base for the area
The house is very well equipped. Updated kitchen has high quality appliances and cookware. Lake view is disappointing, very close to neighbors, who often had equipment in view. But the location is terrific for exploring the area. On different days we enjoyed three different state parks nearby for hiking and another day went kayaking on a river. A beautiful bike path starts within a few blocks of the house and a very large and complete grocery is within a mile. The host was very helpful both before and during our stay, answering questions and attending to any issues that arose.

Great Location and property
There was enough privacy and room to spread out. The bunk bed room was very tight but that is the only issue we have with the layout and facilities. Bathrooms were remodeled and very adequate. The decor was great and the kitchen had everything we would need. The only other suggestion I would have is a little more comfy furniture in the living area. We would definitely go back. Had a great time!

Nice large Vacation home
Nice place updated not long ago. Plenty of space in and out we enjoyed. Could use some nicer and more comfortable sofa, chairs, seats in living room and kitchen areas. Beware the lakes water conditions are pretty poor due to high water levels, but this is in many areas now including Lake Michigan beaches on rough days. If you bring a boat as we did or rent locally the weeds in mid to late summer get bad in front/no wake zones and small algae blooms cover the hole lake and float in the water column. Dock a bit tight on windy days if your not an experienced boater due to other close docks and boats, but I had no big issue boating for over 40 years. Geese issues in front of dock/lawn the neighbor is working on keeping them out, but had daily waste problems, snow shovel and rack worked best to clean up don't wear your good shoes LOL....Stephen was great to deal with, a few small issues he will address and one lock problem I just helped him out on. The "hill" you may read in other reviews is not horrible, it's actually good exercise but if your NOT a good driver or don't have all wheel , 4x4 or good tires you may have a hard time driving up if it's wet or raining. 3 spots to park at top though, more across street. Very nice to have garage access for our side by side and Explorer as well as the items I need to bring for all toys. Nice having a extra fridge/freezer in garage as well. The area overall is decent but seems like the permanent residents are not that friendly as you'll get more up north. Very close to subdivision type houses at top of drive, some of the residents seemed a bit sketchy (a few yonge punk issues I don't expect on vacation), but again we are more use to county and up north settings. I would consider returning except the lake conditions were not good for swimming or my jet boat!! Hopefully the lake levels normalize in the near future. Lake Michigan good on calm days but obviously you'll need a 40 or up footer when the wind blows. The Lake Michigan beach is nice and only about 10 minute drive, great sunsets there also. . Nice overall and reasonable pricing for the size of this nice house. Thanks again Stephen !!! Danny

Amazing family lake house
We had a phenomenal 2 weeks at this lake house! It was a super location with tons of fun outdoor adventures to do in the area (biking, kayaking, boating, sand dunes, horseback riding, trails, parks, and more). The house itself was a great setup for our family. It was nice to have the master & bunk beds on the same floor for our core family, and then another bedroom/loft upstairs which was great for guests. The yard, swing, and dock were beautiful and we spent many hours enjoying the property. The kitchen was a great set-up for prepping meals and we enjoyed eating on the deck. We loved our time and the owner was very responsive to all questions before and during our stay!

Fabulous stay!
This house could not have been more perfect for our family! There were 9 of us and we all had our space and great times together! The backyard was huge, the kids loved playing outside after a day at the beach! The house was spotless and so well stocked with great towels and kitchen needs (pots/pans/utensils). The notebook was great, it answered every question we had! The house was decorated so cute....I seriously cannot think of one bad thing! We made wonderful memories, we would definitely stay there again.

Love this little cottage
Love this cottage and the steep driveway means you are level with the lake...awesome! Needs a pressure washing and some tree trimming but inside is awesome!

Making family memories
We had a wonderful time at this house with our four grandsons ages 3, 4 and two 10 year olds. The house held 10 people very comfortably. We enjoyed having a large refrigerator in the kitchen and one in the garage. The dock was very large and we had plenty of room for our rented pontoon boat. We caught lots of fish off that dock. Looking forward to coming back to White Lake.
