This is our second stay at this location and it did not disappoint. It provided a perfect location for us to escape to on the beach and gave my husband a perfect spot for surfing. Jim is helpful and kind. It’s perfect for our family:)

Great location and amenities on the North Shore! Beautiful beach, close to town, quiet, secure and everything you would need for an awesome beach vacation. Our host was very helpful and accommodating!

My coworker and I came for some training and found this spot close to our location. It was very clean, friendly and inviting! Had a nice kitchen, laundry and linens provided. Close to lots of beaches, food, shopping and outdoor activities. Honolulu and Waikiki were about an hour away (slow speed limits and some traffic at times) but the drive was always beautiful! It was perfect for my first time visiting Hawaii.

Jim is a stellar host and property is the perfect location. It was like we had our own semi-private beach.

Spent a wonderful week in this small but comfy and clean cottage. Host was easy to contact and had lots of recommendations for us. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever dishes, pots/pans, utensils we needed, and beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach (literally a 3 minute walk), quiet, and had the whole place to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple or small family. Will definitely come back!

Grab a cup of coffee and walk a few yards behind the house to watch the surf in the morning and sunsets at night. Home is well appointed for entertaining. We were four adults and cooked in the home a few nights and had everything we needed. Host is on site and helpful. Stayed 7 nights and we were quite comfortable.

I traveled with my parents. We stayed a week and loved every moment of it! This is a beautiful location with a great piece of paradise right on the beach! It's close to a lot of shopping, sites, & restaurants, but far enough from the hustle & bustle of the city life.

Cozy house and great beach.

The house is very clean and plenty of room for 2 or a small family. Easy 15 second walk to the beach. Most of the beaches around here are quiet or have walkable sections that are quiet. Not a lot of restaurants in the area but there is a local grocery store in order to make all any meals at the house.

This location and beach are simply amazing. This part of our vacation exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this property! The accommodations were comfortable, cozy and perfectly located. Want your own private beach on the North Shore of Oahu? Choose this place... Note - you might have to share the beach with an occasional sea turtle or a couple other human beings from time to time, but seriously - the secluded beach access off this property is incredible! Inside the guest house, you'll find everything you need to have a great time in Hawaii. The individually zoned AC units kept things cool and temperate. Bathroom is nicely done with a great shower. Kitchen is well appointed and handles meal prep easily. We stayed in the back bedroom and slept comfortably each night of our stay. The owner, Jim, is great. Easy to communicate with and super friendly. We enjoyed talking with him on a few occasions as he occupies the main house on the property and was right there when we needed anything. There's also a large, mature mango tree shading the guest house on the property. We were fortunate to have a couple mangoes from it - they were delicious. It just added all the more to our tropical getaway stay at Jim's place. We're very appreciative that this property was available. It's a great place to stay on the North Shore. Can't say enough great things about it!

Our family of four enjoyed the stay. The accommodations were cozy and clean and just a quick few steps to gorgeous beach that offered the best sunsets. We especially love the close proximity to Haleiwa Town as we spend a lot of time there for shopping, food and entertainment. Also the quick access to Waimea Bay from here was a plus You’re right in between the two. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed to prepare a meal. The beds are very comfy, the A/C is nice and cool and you have access to a W/D. We used the beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear and foam top surf board during our stay. We’d recommend Jim’s place for your North shore stay. He’s a great host.

It is a short walk through the property with acess to the beach which was great. The ownered had all the beach amenities for your use. Located just 10 minutes from Shark Cove on the North Shore where you can pick-up your your groceries. Rush hour traffic is far from the volume of a busy city but it can be heard. This guest house is a perfect size four up to four adults. The owner lives in the main house but you have plenty of privacy. We were out most days as the location is a 30 minute drive to many of the places and attractions the island has to offer.

This was the perfect home away from home. I loved the North Shore and not being in the downtown mess. The property is amazing with a huge Mango tree right out your door to extensive landscaping and care. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the beach everyday and watching the surfers. Great sandy beach but April the waves are large and we did not swim there. It is located close to sharks cove for snorkeling and many other nice beaches to swim.

Property was wonderful, beach is beautiful in front but not swimable, waves are too tough. Calmer beaches are nearby. Close to town. Haleiwa has great local shops and restaurants

As expected, we had a great stay at on the North Shore. The property is great, very private (inside a gated residence), with quick access to the beach. The owner lives in the adjacent house and is readily available for any guest needs. Highly recommended.

This was heaven on Earth. The place is on a prime location with the most beautiful beach on the Island. Everything you need for your stay is available. The house is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The house is also in a very secure gate for your safety concerns. Jim is available when you need him. It was our first time traveling to Hawaii and this stay made it a memorable one.

The house itself is well situated, well appointed, reasonably priced and was very clean. The first photo of the rental description- sandy beach and expanse of ocean- and the term ‘ocean front property’ led us to assume that there was ocean view from the rental house. There is not. Access to the beach is easy but is not the same as ‘ocean view unit.’ True, there was no claim to ocean view, and the unit is located on ocean front property, but we were disappointed.

This was our second time staying here and it does not disappoint! The location can’t be beat….a beach practically to ourselves while whale and sea turtle watching. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possible need and is just about a stones throw to the beach. Jim is a gracious and respectful host. We love it here and are already thinking about coming back again next year!!!

Property was very enjoyable!

The property was perfect for our family of 4. Central location, close to Haleiwa but also close to Wiamea Falls and beaches a bit north. Decent amenities so for some in home meals. Steps away from the beach for relaxing and watching north shore surfers. The host was kind and responsive.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Beautiful property and grounds. Having the ocean right at your fingertips was great. The house was immaculate; very clean and stocked. Internet worked well, washer and dryer available, AC in each room. It was a very comfortable stay for my family of 3. Location of property is perfect! The owner was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here. We wouldn’t hesitate to reserve this property again in the future.

This was a great rental experience. Location is in the sought after North Shore with privacy and security. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The A/C is useful on warm evenings and also provides a nice ‘white noise’ for light sleepers. The unit has been updated and has a large and comfortable kitchen and living area. The beds were super comfortable (and I am a picky sleeper). The setting was lovely, being right by the beach. Great for watching surfers, sunsets and whales breaching-on New Year’s Eve! It was perfect and we appreciated Jim’s hospitality.

We really enjoyed the property and it's amenities. Being so close to the beach with easy access was a breath of fresh air to prior vacations. The host (Jim) was nice and checked in to ensure we had what we needed. The home was clean and well stocked with the added plus of a washer/dryer. We went to Costco our 2nd day so that we could make several of our meals to save time and enjoy the beach. The location was amazing and very quiet. Watching all the surfers was cool too! My only comment would be to change out the cooking pots and pans for those who plan on cooking while they stay. Highly recommended!!!

This was the perfect spot for our threesome! If you want beach time, this is an amazing place to stay. You are roughly 30-50 minutes from Honolulu depending on traffic. The nearby towns are awesome for strolling and very beach/surfing friendly. We golfed and surfed so this was a good central location for our stay. The guest house is perfect for 3-4 adults. Would be great for a small family with little kiddos too. The host was super responsive and had extra gear for our use (beach towels, boogie boards, snorkelling, etc). Washer and dryer were helpful to have.

Very comfortable and clean. We had all we needed. Location was super for dinners in town and many, many beaches including the one just outside the door! We had a fantastic experience. Thanks Jim for a wonderful stay!
