Cette maison de luxe récemment construit est situé sur la belle rive ouest du lac Tahoe, à quelques centaines de verges de Homewood Ski Resort et une très courte distance de marche de la plage et piste cyclable. Le ski / vélo / retraite randonnée ultime.
Cette maison de style de montagne de quatre chambres a la sensation de luxe rustique. Le niveau d'entrée comprend une grande chambre spacieuse ouverte avec grande
fenêtres qui apportent de l'extérieur à l'intérieur. Il a gastronomique spacieuse
cuisine avec assez de place pour de nombreux cuisiniers et beaucoup de place pour

A great home for multi-generational groups or families. Our group was 6 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen is well appointed and frig is plenty big for a group. Beds/Linens comfortable. Within walking distance to boat launch at Obexer's. Down stairs has huge media/game room - allowing kid-dedicated space, if wanted. Back deck is great in the morning for coffee and dining in the evening. Owner was responsive to our needs. Only challenge - no cell service at the house or out on street.

We had a blast during our stay. We were a group of three families with little kids. This house is comfortable for groups: large kitchen open to the living area so we could cook and hangout while the kids played.
Pool table and second living room downstairs were great places to hangout. And make sure everyone had some space.
One heads up, there is no streaming on the TV but does have a DVD player. We rented a movie for the kids one night from the Redbox at the local Safeway which worked out great. Side note, this was our groups preference to have the kids watch the TV rather than a computer/tablet.
The house is walking distance to Homewood resort (5 min!). A pleasant surprise is the house is on a dead end street. So, the kids could go outside and play in the snow without worrying about cars.

This place is awesome place for getting together with friends and kids. It's very cozy to enjoy coffee in the morning and couple drinks at night and very roomy for kids to play around with provided toys and games in the house. Host, Cheryl is very reasonable person who could bend the rule a bit to make sure customer satisfaction.

Property nice and as descibed on the listing. Location is ok, not much around other than houses and nearest stores and restaurants are a bit of driving away. The place was tidy but not not clean. There is a big difference between clean and just tidy. How do I know it? We are of culture in which it is customary to take our shoes off while in the house, so 10+ of us looking at each others blackenned socks told us that cleaning is done superficially. There was more evidence for lack of cleaning in the bathrooms,

We organized a family ski trip to the Tahoe area for the first time and are so pleased we found this beautiful property. The description doesn't do it justice. There was plenty of room for our extended family and the kitchen was very well equiped for our home cooked meals. A big plus during our stay was the location. It was a short walk to the South base of Homewood (even in ski boots) so we didn't have to drive other than going to Tahoe City for supplies. A major snow storm hit during our visit but we had no issues getting out becase they clear the access road that serves the South base. Also, having a garage was a major benefit so we didn't have to shovel out or scrape windshields. The host is excellent and provided clear communication ahead of our visit as well as answered questions promptly during our stay. I only wish we had discovered this place years ago. Highly recommend.

Two families with 5 teens! Enough room and then some. HUGE house. Location was prime and Homewood ski is the best kept secret for those seeking less crowds and a relaxed vibe. Kitchen has spices, bring cooking oil and more roasting/bakeware if you plant to cook stuff in the oven. There was a lot of foil/Saran wrap. Thanks for sharing your luxury with us!

The description doesn't do this place justice. The location is amazing if you're skiing at Homewood and the house is huge! It can definitely comfortably fit 10 people and nobody will fill feel on top of one another (unlike other houses where more beds are stuffed into each room). There's an upstairs and downstairs area that people can hang out in.

Overall great home! At the beginning of our stay the WiFi was out do to fires in the area, Cheryl took the time to reach out to the company trying to get us an update. The WiFi came back on the next day. Great trip spent with great friends in a great home!

The perfect cabin for our “mom getaway” for the Tahoe triathlon. Plenty of space, comfy beds, beautiful kitchen.

Minor points, but it would be nice to have larger soap bars in bathroom. Also, dining room light fixtures should be cleaned. The BBQ on the deck didn't get up to temp for cooking - would have been ok for grilling

Lovely large house, SO close to Homewood!
This is a beautiful, large, clean home and the location can't be beat. You can walk to the south entrance of Homewood in about 2 minutes, and it would be great in the summer as well. There are 4 good sized bedrooms (2 ensuite) and a huge bonus room which was great for the kids. The only very small thing is that there are no plastic plates, cups, etc. for kiddos, so just pack them if you need them. We would definitely stay there again!

The location and home is great. We had an awesome time there. Especially if you have children interested in a Ski School, it's the place to be. It's easy walking distance to the lifts on the South Side of Homewood.

Great Place To Stay In Homewood
Cheryl’s house was a great find. Was shocked how close it actually was to homewood’s second base. Easily within walking distance. The house itself was beautiful and spacious. The only thing that could have made this trip better was more consistent wifi. Wasn’t a big issue for our group but could see it being a challenge if you’re planning to work from here. Would definitely stay again!

Great family fun
The house was perfect for our family trip to the snow. The pictures don’t do it justice. There is a large family room downstairs with games for the kids. Often when trying to find vacation rentals it’s difficult to tell if the space will allow for quiet time for naps. This house has it all. We were able to all cook and eat together and we were walking distance to Homewood for snowboarding.

Cheryl was such a great host which made our stay comfortable. There were a multitude of issues that occurred upon our arrival and Cheryl was able to address all of them in a timely manner. Beautiful home, great location!
We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely home! When we weren't skiing, we were playing pool. It's a beautiful home and very comfortable. We did lose power for awhile one night, so be sure and bring flashlights and backup batteries, just in case. That was the only thing we couldn't find, and we didn't have cell service to ask. It wasn't a problem for us, though, since we had emergency supplies. We loved our stay, and the host was very responsive.

Beautiful home, wonderfully decorated (Christmas tree was a surprise and a very festive touch), owner very accessible during a very challenging week (record snowfall during our visit). Would definitely stay there again…and hope for just a bit less snow. ;-)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was excellent, the house was very clean and everything was easy to access. Cheryl was very quick to respond to any of our questions. We’d definitely stay here again.

Family of 7
Family of 7 with small children. The house is nice. We were unable to enjoy our stay and had to leave after 2 nights due to the heavy smoke and hazardous air quality (500+) brought on by the Caldor Fire. Everything at Tahoe was closed and the evacuation boundary was moving closer. We informed the owner of our intent to leave after the first night. Even though communication had been swift when dealing with an internet issue, our respectful requests for a partial refund were ignored. We complied with all check-out procedures before leaving. If nothing goes wrong, you will probably have a great stay, but don’t expect the owner to be reasonable if things go wrong, even if a fire is about to sweep into the Tahoe basin.

We'll be back!
Beyond our expectations! Beautiful, well equipped (beach towels, chairs and floats for the lake!) media room, pool table. We were in Tahoe for a family wedding at Homewood. This was a perfect location. There is great family gathering space and also separate areas so the " kids" could have their own space. We will be back again, winter next time! Chair lift for Homewood is literally around the corner, walking distance!

Perfect home for Homewood destination wedding
This home was perfect for our daughter's wedding at the West Shore Cafe, if you are having a wedding there this is the place to stay. The home had everything you could ask for, the floor plan worked perfectly for our family of 7 and our 3 truck loads of wedding supplies. Cheryl was so great to work with before, during and after. The wedding and stay was actually for 2020 but with covid we had to cancel last minute, Cheryl was very accommodating with changing our stay to 2021. Can't wait to stay here again, hopefully this winter! Praying for a lot of snow this year!!!
