We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spent a lot of time on the porch during the day and the backyard at night looking at stars. Location is perfect and wonderful for morning and evening walks with the Hotel Paisano right across the street for food, drinks, and patio sitting. Great recharging vacation and can’t wait to go back.

Per usual, we had a great trip to Marfa. We always try to book the West Texan when it's available because there's just not a better fit for our family. Spotless, spacious, great outdoor space, pet friendly. Check in and out are so easy and if you do need something, communication is quick and clear. Couldn't ask for more.

The house was exactly as described. Communication was good and property access was easy. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the neighborhood and the location was perfect for walking to everything Marta has to offer.

We had a quick trip to organize a photo shoot in Marfa and surrounding towns. The West Texan was perfect. Plenty of room. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere and everywhere. Highly recommend and will be back.

My sister and I were looking for a centrally located place to stay in Marfa that had two bedrooms. This spacious house could easily accommodate six. It is even better than the pictures and could not be better situated. Outdoor space was very pleasant with lots of furniture options and shade. Would be great for a long stay as there is a great deal of storage and super nice washer/dryer. Beds were very comfortable and linens were nice. I will return any chance I get.

Very conveniently located; easy walk to just about everything in town. House is surprisingly spacious; adobe walls plus pre-set thermostat made the house very comfortable at all times (even though the temps dipped in the night). Kitchen is well-stocked and the yard was a great reading/hangout spot. We all kicked back on the couch in the evening and had a couple of West Texas movie nights: No Country for Old Men and Giant. A fun time was had by all. :)
P.S. If you are in town on a Fri or Sat, do yourself a favor and go get BBQ at Convenience West (get in line BEFORE they open at 5). INSANELY GOOD.

We absolutely loved staying at this place! The layout was perfect for us as we each had our own bedroom. We were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was - things we didn't know we needed were there! The place was also warm and inviting inside, and we loved hanging out on the comfortable couch each evening to talk about our day. The location is also perfect as it is within walking distance of so many great things in Marfa.

It was a great place to stay for our family, more space than we could actually use. Great location in the heart of Marfa and easy walk to various places. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a spacious, clean and very well appointed two bedroom place situated at the center of Marfa. Can walk everywhere. The decor is charming, the apartment has everything needed for a short or longer stay. The owner, Lauren, is very accessible.

My family and I were in Marfa for the Marfa 100 bike ride. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we discovered that the renovated adobe house we stayed in might have belonged to my great uncle many years ago. My 94 year old mother lived in Marfa in the 40’s and she has fond memories of the area.

This was a wonderful surprise! Our son asked that we visit Marfa on our way to another event. He informed us this was at the top of his bucket list. WOW now I understand! Great location within walking distance to nearly everything. We rarely needed our car for anything except day trips to Marathon, Alpine, and Ft. Davis. We walked to and from breakfast, lunches/dinners, and bars in the evenings.
We didn't use the kitchen much, but bathroom and laundry worked well. No complaints. Great for a couple or a small family.

And the location was centrally located to everything. Restaurants, bars & coffee shop were all within walking distance. Love it and will continue us to stay at this one from now on!

The West Texan is the perfect home base while staying in Marfa. Especially when traveling with dogs. The outside space is great and there's a little patch of the softest green grass (with no pickles! Very hard to find in Marfa). The inside is just as great. Everything you need, clean, bright and you can't find a better more central location in Marfa!

Four girlfriends stopped here for a couple of nights on the way to Sedona. The location is perfect and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. The house is precious and has wonderful beds and linens. It was very well-appointed and we didn't want for a thing. I would definitely bring my family here for another visit. I would highly recommend the Star Party at McDonald Observatory, dinner at La Ventura at the St. George and brunch at Buns and Roses (hot but so worth it). We also enjoyed Chateau Wright and Altamarfa wineries. Overall amazing stay!

Beautiful property. Great location for walking to most businesses. I loved that the two bedrooms had a connecting door. Plenty of room! Easiest checkin ever. Wonderful patio that I wish we would have had more time to enjoy. Highly recommend this property.

The house is walkable distance to places to eat, to the Judd Foundation, part of the Chinati Foundation, shops. It was comfortable with nice outdoor space and kitchen with everything you might need. Marfa is unique and worth a visit. Besides the art foundations mentioned, close to Fort Davis and the McDonald Observatory and some gorgeous drives.
