We had a fantastic time at this home! Everything was perfect and better than we could’ve imagined. We took a girls trip and there was 8 of us at the height of the trip. The house perfectly accommodated all of us, the rooms are spacious and the 3 bathrooms came in handy. We also used the outdoor shower as it is quite refreshing. Beautiful kitchen and the fact the kitchen table is large and open to the living room made all of us socializing easy! I personally loved sitting on the couch in the screened in porch, very quaint! While we didn’t walk to the beach, driving there was easy after we figured out where to go, there wasn’t clear instructions on where to find parking to use the beach parking passes. Lastly, the beach….i never want to go to another beach along the Delaware/Maryland shoreline again! Intimate and relaxing. One day they came around and checked our beach pass while we were out, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. This home is at a perfect location and tucked back in the woods, it gave us a sense of home, while we were at the beach. I certainly hope to stay in this home again and several of the girls in the group wanted the information as well ☺️ thank you to our fabulous hosts! Very responsive whenever I reached out and we appreciate you allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

We absolutely loved this house! It has everything you need for a beach vacation and is so close to the beac. Parking passes are an added bonus if you want to lug a lot of stuff. The home is very well stocked with games, beach chairs, etc. We loved sitting on the screened porch in the evenings. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at this property. We came back because of its location, amenities, especially the kitchen and screened-in porch, access to a private beach and also because we so very much enjoyed our first stay. The owner is very responsive to questions and needs which is important when you are staying at someone else's house. We feel we made the right choice both times we have stayed here and highly recommend it. As a bonus, the owner provided great beach weather!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family when visiting extended family in the Bethany area. It’s right in Middlesex beach, which is very desirable due to the private, guarded beach it has access to. The home itself was spotless and looked recently renovated. It was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom and the huge screened in porch area was a great hangout spot. My kids loved the Wii system and the bunk bed room. I loved how peaceful, secluded and quiet it was yet it was a step away from restaurants etc. Really a wonderful rental and the host couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful! We will be renting again as soon as we figure out 2024 dates!

This is a wonderful house! We were a group of two families with two small children under 5 and this property had everything we wanted and needed: a beautiful, fully-stocked kitchen; a beautiful and spacious screened-in deck with fans where we spent almost all of our non-beach time; an easy single-floor but well-spaced layout for families; laundry; private bathrooms for all; a short walk to the beach; and lots of beach supplies. Our host offered lots of helpful info ahead of check-in and was super prompt in responding to a few inquiries we had. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect vacation
This is not a house. It's a Home. You don't need to take anything with you, it's all there.
All that you have to do - kick back and relax. Whether it be on a beach with very few people around you or on a nice and inviting deck, under some soothing pine trees. Have breakfast with the kids in the morning or a late night glass of wine with your spouse on a cozy screen porch that's either full of the nice morning sun, or warmly lit by magical fairy lights.

Spectacular
This is a spectacular house. The kitchen and master suite are fantastic. The island in the kitchen is awesome and equipped with anything a "chef" might need. We cooked almost every day and everything we needed was available. The screened-in porch was used every day and evening. The "ring toss" game outside was enjoyed by all. It was great to have beach chairs, umbrella and beach buggy available. It was also great to be able to walk to the beach and/or drive knowing that there would be a reserved parking spot available. This is the best VRBO house we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful House, Great Location
We really enjoyed staying! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to the beach. Very well kept up, with a fully stocked kitchen. Huge outdoor deck and the enclosed porch was so nice to sit out there, eat dinner and enjoy. We just loved the house!

Best rental house in Middlesex
This house is modern, very clean, and stocked with everything you need including beach items in the garage. The outdoor shower was clean of all of nature’s debris and nice in size. We have been renting in Middlesex since 2010 and this is our favorite house. Second years here.

Best of Middlesex
This house is amazing, I don’t even know where to start. This is the 4th house we’ve rented in the past 3 years, and it’s our last. We’ve finally found the house for us. The kitchen is the perfect place to cook a meal for a large family, the dining room table is big enough to seat us all. The screened in porch is relaxing and comfortable after a long day at the beach. The house is the cleanest rental I have ever seen, super clean. The house is well equipped with everything you need, it’s really a perfect rental.

Another fantastic stay in Middlesex
I hesitate to write this review because I almost want to keep this gem of a house a secret. We love this place! Lots of space to spread out, all the comforts and little extras. We love the screened-in porch overlooking the wooded yard. Love the beautiful kitchen. We've stayed here twice in the past 10 months and just might return in the fall.

Clean, Quiet, Great Location
The house was extremely clean and uncluttered. It is tucked away on a quiet dead end street but just a short walk to the private Middlesex Beach. Emily was extremely responsive to communications. All in all a great place to stay in Bethany.

My husband, our daughter, her husband and our 2 grandchildren ages 7 & 10 stayed for a week. The kids loved their room. The kitchen was wonderful to work in. Excellent stay
We had a wonderful time at the beach. The private beach was not crowded at all and we were able to safely social distance. The newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped. We had everything we needed at the house for a fun and safe week!

Beautiful, Clean Home
We felt so lucky to find this house! The new kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. The whole house was exceptionally clean, too. The best part was the private, guarded beach. We've been social distancing since March but really needed a mini vacation. Being private, the beach wasnt crowded at all, but the beaches on either end were pretty packed. We loved the location and would definitely want to stay again. The owner was also very responsive. Great rental!

Wonderful Bethany Beach vacation!
My family and I had a great time at this rental. We were all so pleased with the floor plan for young children and the cleanliness with the home. Not only that, but the house is so well stocked with beach essentials, games, kitchen tools etc. We liked the option to either drive or walk to the beach- both were super easy. This was our first time at Bethany Beach and we will definitely be back!

Perfect beach getaway
We stayed at Emily’s place in South Bethany for a week and honestly did not want to leave! We were 10 including my parents, sisters and partners and our 2 boys of 5 and 7. From having morning tea in the screened ventilated patio to the beautiful private beach minutes away, the owner has thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The house was a welcomed relief from a day at the beach with a clean outside shower to wash off all the sand! We would leave with a beach chair every morning on our backs and a full buggy provided at the house and slowly made the quick walk to the beach being greeted by other vacationers or residents as we walked. The town of Bethany is quaint and quiet, beautiful surroundings and lots to discover. For those who need action from time to time, Ocean City and Rehoboth provide entertainment and are only a short drive away. We regret only staying 1 week! Emily responded quickly to our queries that we had before leaving and was very accommodating. The house was so clean, homey, plenty of commodities, this is THE place to stay. Great job and thank you so much for hosting us :) We hope to be back quite soon 😊�

Sweet comfortable home in Middlesex beach
House was exactly as described, great layout, beautiful quiet screened porch, well-equipped with chairs for beach, bikes and kitchen equipment.
Very large and redone master bed/bath and fun kids room with plenty of space. Third bedroom with comfortable queen size bed and it's own bathroom.
Owners were attentive and flexible.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property at beautiful Middlesex beach!

Great Beach Hideaway
This house has everything for a comfortable stay. The owner quickly answered any inquiry. We returned for a second year for our family beach vacation. The house is clean and very well equipped in a nice quiet community but close to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed crabs on the screened in porch. The three bathrooms are nice if you have several guests staying. We hope to return for a third year.

Very nice clean home! The rooms were all spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a plus, and the separation of the bedrooms from the living area gives privacy. Kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended!!

Clean, comfortable, and chill home. With private beach to boot!
My wife and I brought our four children, ages 17-23, for two weeks to this super comfortable and well decorated and supplied South Bethany home. It is clean and well appointed and the kitchen well stocked. The house has an awesome screened porch with two overhead fans and the garage comes supplied with beach bikes, beach umbrella, and beach cart. A pass is provided for use of Middlesex Beach, a private beach just south of Sea Colony, which was one of the best parts of our stay. The private beach made for uncrowded setups and a mellower experience than the crowded beaches just north and south of us. It's a short, 8-minute walk to beach and you have to cross a sometimes busy Rt. 1; but there are parking passes if you want to drive instead (we never did). Home has many amenities including an outdoor shower. We had one of the best vacations together in a long time. So relaxing. The Sparrows have provided a wonderful house, and they were excellent and friendly in their communication. Hope to return!

Clean, comfortable, off the beaten path
The house was comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms were spacious, with decent separation between the master and the kid's room. The three full baths were really appreciated as our 7 person group had all 3 generations present. When it came to meals, the charcoal grill was a nice change to gas. All amenities were well maintained. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
