I was relocating up north and the house is perfectly located for everything I wanted to do. It was spacious and very comfortable! Steve was a great host and very communicative. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Clean

Located 20 minutes from the slopes and Petoskey, this home has all you need for a good family stay. There are lots of utensils in the kitchen if you want to cook, but bring a sharp knife, a colander, and a steam basket if you need these items. The wifi and TV works fine (I brought my own Roku) and one of the couches is quite nice. The loveseat could use some...uh...love. The cushions are like a flat tire. The bathroom works well, but there's not much counter surface to put your stuff on. The soap dispenser on the wall is a hygienic convenience, but the product it dispenses would probably not be your first choice for washing your hair or body. Finally, the bed. I slept in the king bed, and it was comfortable. There is the beginning of a divot in the sweet spot, but not enough to bother this side-sleeper. The shades work great at blocking out the light, so feel free to sleep in. Steven is a responsive host, and all of our expectations were met.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again in a second.

This home is a great place to stay and enjoy all of the things to do in this region. It is conveniently located near ski resorts, Petoskey and many other things. The home is well cared for, quiet and clean with lots of amenities to help your stay be very enjoyable.

Great Place. Is as pictured and actually more spacious inside than you may think. Came to ski (late December) and got some in though there was no actual snow but on the mountain. A great part of the property is the short drive to petosky, nubs nob and harbor springs. Did all those things. Hosts were great and attentive as well.

We had a lovely stay! The house was well-stocked. The bed was very comfortable. We slept soundly each night. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to a request. We enjoyed the location. We like to kayak and the house is situated near the inland waterways. It was about a 15 minute drive to Petoskey. Mackinaw is about 30 minutes drive. One of the best parts about the location was being in walking distance of a fantastic bakery that we took advantage of most mornings. I would definitely recommend this property!

We have stayed here multiple times and look forward to our next stay. Walking distance to Alanson businesses and local boat launches at multiple lakes. The house updates since our previous stay are really nice. The communication the property owner (Steve) was very prompt. Highly recommend this property.

This was perfect plenty of room, great drive for boat parking and charging, clean and all the kitchen tools if you are cooking. This was our third time, and we will be back.

This place is fantastic. Lots of room inside with a quiet location just off the main road. Great deck. Very clean with plenty of beds. Has all the cooking dishes and utensils you need. Would gladly stay there again as well as recommend it to others.

We needed a comfortable place to stay for our sons baseball tournament and this place was perfect. A grill in the back yard, along with a nice fire pit and tables. We loved the location too! Cute town!

This home was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and we enjoyed our stay. The bakery around the corner had the most delicious cinnamon bread! The little chihuahua that wandered over while we cooked up breakfast had a marvelous time running back and forth while my boys threw a football out in the yard. We got such a kick out of her. The washer and dryer were appreciated as well. Plenty of space for my family of 6.

My wife and I stayed her for her birthday weekend plus a couple other days. It's a nice property for the cost. Nice size kitchen, dinning room, bedrooms and bathroom. Somewhat small TV area for more than 2 people. The couch and particularly the leather loveseat have no functioning springs and you sit very low and not super comfortable. However, that's the only negative for this property! Nice deck, newer windows, 4 well functioning air conditioners for warm nights. This property could easily handle 8 people particularly if some are children. Nice private quiet neighborhood.

The week in Alanson was fabulous! It was located in a great place, the neighborhood was great! The property was fantastic, it had everything you would possibly need! Steve was great and easily able to get a hold of! Amazing property!! The fresh springs in Alanson were great too!!

House was clean and well equipped for up to 4 individuals or couples. Nice circle drive for parking with plenty of room for a couple of truck and boat rigs. Outdoor power right by the parking. Highly recommend!

Steve the host could not have been more accommodating. The week we scheduled our trip turned out to be the warmest week we’ve had yet. He made sure the AC was set up and ready to use if we needed it. We most certainly did and were grateful that he thought of it.
