Cozy and comfortable - the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom were above and beyond expectations. Candles were even provided for the dining table. The deck is private with lovely landscaping - the gas firepit is a wonderful way to end the day of exploring. Clay and Brenda are wonderful hosts - we highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in Woodstock! There is one parking spot just for guests and a front and rear entry that are easily accessible without even knowing your hosts live in the same home. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The space was very clean and perfect for what we needed - our son stayed in the bedroom (since he goes to bed early) and we slept on the pullout couch. Both were very comfortable. The outdoor space for guests is private, woodsy, and has a gas fire pit that was a perfect oasis for this time of year. The location is very close to downtown but it is up a very steep hill. We brought our bikes, but it was difficult to get back up the hill on them, especially with a toddler in tow. We wound up just walking to and from town and it's so close and easy to get to. Woodstock was extremely busy this time of year (as is to be expected) but we'd visit again a different time of year - the place was great!

Woodstock is a wonderful destination and Prospect Place is a perfect place to stay. The garage apartment was incredibly clean and well equipped. Easy to give this one 5 stars!

Loved the deck with the fire table. overlooking the woods and plantings. Nice kitchen with washer and dryer. Cute decor. Even though it is close to town, it is up a steep hill with no sidewalk part of the way. For that reason I would not walk it at night. We have minor back issues and found the couch very uncomfortable for the lower back. Seems like some of the springs were broken. All in all, I would suggest a stay there

Prospect Place is a wonderful home away from home and Brenda and Clayton are superior hosts. We highly recommend this unit and the town of Woodstock, which offers many excellent attractions, activities and restaurants.

This cottage is situated in a beautiful setting with lots of trees and gardens. It’s right in town and close to everything. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a wonderful winter weekend in Clay and Brenda’s apartment. The space is larger than the pictures convey and it is beautifully decorated. The location to the village was ideal. We had a couple of weather challenges with our car and the hosts were very responsive and helped us out. We would definitely stay here again. Sara and Rick

This property truly gave us the home away from home experience. The unit is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, well furnished, and in a great location for visiting Woodstock as well as the surrounding forests and parks in this area of VT. Our family really enjoyed our first visit to VT!

We had a fantastic weekend enjoying Vermont. The house is VERY close to town while still giving us privacy. The home was well stocked, we didn't miss a thing. We would stay here again.

Super clean and updated apartment on street very close to town. Lovely back decked porch that faces the forest. So relaxing and peaceful.

This garage apartment was great. Full kitchen with appliances working, full bath with good shower. The apartment was furnished with very nice antique furniture. Mattress very good. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Good location very close to town. Gracious and very responsive hosts.

Perfect location from which to enjoy all that Woodstock and the surrounding areas have to offer. Unit is very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the back deck. We felt like we were tucked away in our own little corner of Fall paradise.

Overall the VRBO post was what we expected. It was a great location to town and had all the space we needed for a short stay. The bed and sofa were not the most comfortable and just keep in mind it is a garage apartment so you may hear some sawing during your stay!

This was our first time visiting Woodstock, VT & we chose to visit during Wassail Weekend. Brenda & Clay were very responsive to my questions & the apartment was perfect for our romantic weekend getaway. They had it decorated for Christmas & we loved the proximity to downtown.

Perfect rental for a weekend getaway in Woodstock. Close walk to the town’s center. Clay was quickly and effectively responsive to a couple of our needs throughout the weekend. Would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town for a wedding at the Woodstock Inn, and we were able to walk to and from the Inn at our leisure because it’s so close! It was perfect for us. Everything was very clean and easy to find, and the host was extremely responsive. There were plenty of towels and sheets, and a well stocked bathroom. The AC worked great, and when it cooled down at night there were plenty of blankets. We would happily stay here again! Thank you to our hosts for such a wonderful stay!

This property is a gem! Very well designed, clean and well-stocked. Lots of windows make it light and airy and we enjoyed being able to see the forest behind the property. It’s within walking distance to downtown and has easy access to route 4 if you are driving places. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

A warm welcome from our host,who also sorted an IT problem. Was good to arrive at a cosy apartment which was more spacious than the images made it appear. It was well equipped with modern conveniences and a lovely deck out back which was quiet and peaceful. Was conveniently placed to be able to walk into Woodstock,shame we could not stay for longer.

We skied at Killington, it was under 20 minutes to the skyeship gondola. Woodstock has a great downtown with lots of restaurants. Owners were very accommodating.

We had a great 4-day stay! Our hosts were lovely, responsive and their apartment was just perfect! The space was very clean, comfy, cozy and had anything we needed and more! There was a great landing where we could leave wet shoes and clothes and plenty of closet space and storage in the unit. We had complete privacy and feelings of safety. The wall of windows was fantastic to look out at in the morning and at night we could snuggle up in the living room or bedroom and watch tv. The kitchen had all the ammenities, spacious rooms and a great bathroom. It was a quick walk into town and under 30 minutes to Killington, White River Junction and many other great things.

We enjoyed our brief stay in this spacious, modern apartment; beautifully finished and well-furnished. Close to Woodstock's shops, galleries and restaurants, as well the many hiking opportunities in the area. We loved our hike up Mt. Tom. Clay and Brenda were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.
