Location is insane and lots to do. The day spent horseback riding is one of the best days traveling I've had in a while. Views are amazing. Restaurant is nice. Massage was fantastic.

Only negative was incomplete access to wifi. Most of the staff were unilingual spanish, but a few spoke english. To be honest, neither of these things mattered. We had a wonderful time.

Place is gorgeous per se. Staff was very, very pleasant and helpful. Our guide on the visit of the waterfall, "el mago", was knowledgeable and very nice.

The property is full of beautiful walnut trees, grape vines, and lovely flowers. It is a true oasis amidst the desert. The lodge cottages are amazingly designed and extremely comfortable. The restaurant has great food/views for dinner and the included breakfast was generous. We are so glad we stayed here - a great jumping off point for hikes further up the valley and worth a visit without the hiking. there’s a good sized pool and lounging chairs on the pool deck for post hike cooling off too.
