A lovely time where we were able to share meals with other families there for graduation and had the beautiful dock and environs to enjoy when we weren’t at functions. Hydrangeas were gorgeous. The WiFi was out and that was unfortunate but the property manager did everything they could to get it fixed—-it just couldn’t be helped.

The property is on a quiet inlet, just off the main channel. There was low boat activity our 4 days. I spent every minute I could, on the dock. The house is well laid out for large groups, with several sitting arrangements, including a screened off porch. The property is spacious, giving a sense of privacy. We have already decided to do it again next year, but a little longer and more planned out to enjoy all that house has to offer. I can't express how perfect it was for us.

This home was so peaceful and relaxing. It had more than enough space for our group and the shady beach was perfect for our toddlers. We enjoyed the fire pit and the kayaks, as well. The home was equipped with toys and life jackets, which we were grateful for too. I’d highly recommend and hope to come back!

Beautiful location on Lake Norman. Plenty of space. Hope we can return someday when there is warmer weather.

We would stay again

Our family needed a place near Lake Norman to attend our daughter’s wedding. It was a great place with plenty of space for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and all the things you needed to cook. A wonderful lake front place with all the comforts of home.

House was clean and provided great scenic views of Lake Norman! We enjoyed our short relaxing 3 day stay with family!

We had a great trip. The house was exactly as advertised. The weather was perfect and it was a very relaxing and recharging trip with friends.

This property is in a very quiet area - both by land and by “sea”. The oldest guy there (me) paddled a kayak around most of the cove. Kayaks and paddle boat were great. From previous experiences elsewhere, we knew we would want to have morning sun (not so hot) and afternoon shade (also not so hot). This turned out to be extremely beneficial, as we could spend lots of time on or near the dock and water. The sun was optional. Once we read the instructions, everything worked as they should. Icemaker is a big plus! Kitchen and multiple seating around it served us well. We were able to spend quality time together without the stresses of ownership (that must have been included in the price!) Overall, a great experience with this property, at a reasonable price, compared to other options!

Family looks forward to meeting here every year for a great time at the lake. House is roomy enough for a big group with everything you need in the kitchen. Always clean & plenty of toys for the lake.Thanks Chuck for another great stay.

The property was great. The lay out of everything was just what we were looking for. Everything was accessible and easy to find. The directions given to the property were great and the instructions were laid out and clear.

Outstanding property, right on Lake Norman. Spacious, well appointed, well stocked kitchen, good layout home. We have 6 adults and six kids, never felt cramped, rather plenty of room for all. Kids and adults love kayaks and paddle boats, water was very calm. Outstanding sunsets. Saw Dee's everyday walking through property. Very quite area, yet only a short drive to grocery stores and alike. Would deffinetely recommend.

This property was perfect for a stay with family and friends. The kids loved the water amenities and lots of fun for everyone!

This was our 22 year of taking our Family on a Christmas trip. This home was easy to get to and plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Home was clean and ready for our arrival time. The home is laid out great for everyone to hang out together or you could always find a place to spend quiet time alone. Plenty of things to do during the day and evening to keep everyone happy. We all enjoyed the indoor go cart track and putt putt golf nearby. My wife said this was a place that made you feel like you were at home. We gathered at Hideaway for our son's college graduation. The house was perfect for our family. We would love to go back because we had such a great time at this house. To name a few things - the access to the lake, the part of the lake it is located on, the huge windows in the house, the screen porch, the outdoor sitting areas, the docks, and the kayaks made our stay very memorable. We all agreed we would love to go back for a vacation. Thank you to the hosts for such a lovely stay!

At our 3 generationsl gathering we all enjoyed the home. It was very well stocked. Loved the dock and items for kids to use.

The house matched the photos and description perfectly. There were eight (8) adults in our group and the layout of space worked great. The views of the lake are spectacular and although it was a bit chilly to go swimming we did manage to take a kayak out for a quick "stroll" near the house. We will rent again and highly recommend for large groups, all ages.

This was close to where we were working. Wished we had time to enjoy the home.

Nice place with lots to do. It’s an older home with a generally dated appearance. Could have used a deeper cleaning under furniture. Noted extra dust in these areas as we collected kids toys while they played. Upstairs bathroom had urine on the seat at check in.

This was a perfect house for our family. The three sitting areas served us well. Tried to book for 2022 but it was already booked.

I can not say nothing but great things of this property. I went for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. They had everything you need, the view was spectacular. I love the walk way all the way to the dock. We would definitely recommend. There really was no need to contact the owner. Everything was great thank you!

Beautiful home and location, with everything for an easy stay. Worked well for our baby and two toddlers, plus grandparents--very easy space to use for all.
