The only negatives on the unit itself was the coffee table was too large for the space it was in - lots of bumped shins on that - and the beach chairs we found in the unit were rusted and basically unusable (that earned the unit a 3 star for quality of furniture). Bed was comfy and the shower was fantastic - like standing under a waterfall! The property, pool and grounds were really beautiful! Proximity to beach was perfect. Tram service was helpful, since we had a problem with our rental car for the first two days. Baytowne Wharf was fun! We loved eating at Slippery Lips - great food (the scallops and grits were amazing). Every person we dealt with in Sandestin was super friendly. Special shout out to Bette who was so helpful right from the time we booked through to the end of our stay, Carole at the pool for her help and Jonathan for his help, as well. The best people!

The view from the balcony is not exactly what I would call a gulf view, unless you want to look through a very small triangle shaped opening. However, if you can’t see the gulf from the balcony at least you are not looking at a parking lot or building as the palm trees are nice. The covered parking is nice. The Westwinds building and facilities are beautiful. The pool and walk right to the beach are awesome.

We enjoyed the property amenities, great location, and good for couples or families. The condo was not stocked with cooking ingredients and only starters of toilet paper, paper towel, etc so come prepared. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the condo was clean.

We had family with us in separate rooms. We enjoyed the stay and the area is just right!

We just returned from our stay and had a wonderful time! The condo was clean and had a great balcony view of the beach as well as pool and grounds. We didn’t want to leave!

But with that said we’d still rent again with Bette.

This property far exceeded our expectations. The security was incredible, the unit had everything we could possibly need. Management, when contacted, was on top of any issue and responded immediately. I have found "my place" in Westwinds and cannot imagine staying anywhere else from here on out. It was just PERFECT!!!

Excellent place

Perfectly located within walking distance to the beach, driving distance via golf cart to other areas. Very nice, clean property. Pools are great, people are great. If flying in to stay here and ordering groceries for delivery, just manage what you order (we had just a bit too much). Unused / unopened goods must be thrown out / taken with you, completely understandable, but would be wonderful if the property partnered with a local food-bank to pick up unopened non-perishable goods. That does not change my view of the property. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay. We will be coming back. The resort is so nice, very secure, and easy to work with. We were so impressed by all the different accommodations. Bette was amazing to work with. She was great at communicating. The condo is one of the cleanest ones I’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless!! We were just so impressed our entire stay. This resort as a whole is so nice with so much to do it in. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Could hardly turn around in Kitchen and certainly not designed for cooking. Refrigerator took up most of the room because cabinets had not been modified to accommodate the larger refrigerator. The bathroom tub faucet did not allow adjusting the amount of flow of water and I almost broke my neck a couple of times because of the slippery tub and no safety bars. Please fix these things. I wish weather had been a little more cooperative. We did not make it to the beach. However, overall it was a nice stay.

While in Florida hurricane Ian was making its way to floridas coast! Bette butler took it upon herself to keep us updated on every shift the storm had and kept our minds at ease! The location of the hotel is perfect can’t beat the spot your at! You’re in a gated community so only you and owners can access where you’re at! Perfect vacation for us!

Great place, great location! The tram service is so convenient. The pool is quite large and very nice. Easy access to the private beach. Already planning my trip back!

Condo overlooks the beach with a wall of windows in both the living room and master bedroom. Bette was so easy to work with and sent us a lot of communication before we arrived. The property has a gorgeous pool and bbq area and is right on the beach. It’s more of a residential type building so there is no front desk or restaurants, but there are plenty of places within walking distance to dine. The furnishings we very nice and comfortable, there were 5 or 6 towels in each bathroom, and plenty of cookware, utensils, and dishes. We loved it so much that we are working on booking it again next summer!

The condo has moisture sensors in the bathroom to prevent damage and When it senses any condensation it shuts the water off. So pretty inconvenient when your taking a shower. They are very sensitive! Other than that the room was clean, the manager responded quickly, beautiful grounds and location is perfect!
