wonderful place to enjoy the eclipse and nature!

We rented the property so we could all be together for Christmas! It was perfect! It was cozy and comfortable! We really enjoyed the outdoors as there was enough room for the children to run and play and the adults to have a few good games of baggo! The property owner was easy to deal with and extremely helpful! We will be back!

Beautiful cabin right on the river

Not what we expected. Beds were very uncomfortable. Not enough comfortable seating for seniors, furniture was very worn. Evidence of a previous birthday party under dining area. Poor lighting at bottom of stairs, one of family member slipped and fell. Luckily not injured. Poor supply of towels, bath tissue, soap. Outdoor grill not clean!! Evidence of of dog urine on rugs.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, the river & the wildlife surrounding the area. We will certainly be back!

The inside of the cabin was clean. The outside was very lacking. The windows were very dirty and most disappointing was the outside downstairs where the grill was So nasty and yucky. The burners on the grill are rusted out and only partially worked. Too nasty to sit out. The yard should have been cut a week before we got there. The view was good from outside but it’s really dirty. I took pictures but can’t find a place to post.

Nice place and pretty quiet

We had an amazing time at River Ridge cabin. Firstly, the drive to the cabin area was beautiful with the surrounding Myrtle trees and foliage. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The cabin was very clean inside and had all the needed items. The bedding was soft and comfortable and the mattresses felt pretty new. The walk-in showers were fantastic with good water pressure and plenty of room. There is much to do both in the area or the 40 minute trip to Hot Springs. We were expecting to have to buy groceries in Hot Springs Walmart but there is no need at all. We visited the local Wrights grocery store and it’s a full-line grocery store with some of the nicest people we’ve met on vacation. Even our teenage girls commented on how nice they were. There is plenty of space for the family to hang out and we had several game-nights. The loft for the teens was a hit! The deck is amazing for morning coffee and evening wind-down. We didn’t use the fire-pit because our visit was during the heat warnings but the setting is perfect with a recently added bench. Also there is a shared sitting area and stairway down to the river. That area is huge and could be great to gather if a couple families were staying at other cabins. We were close enough to other cabins to not feel secluded but far enough away that we really didn’t realize they were there. We had a great view of the river and it was nice watching the kayakers and our sun-bathing turtles. River Ridge is in our Top 5 cabin list.

We enjoyed ourselves again at this cabin!! The owner is always accommodating and hospitable. It is a great location and we truly enjoy it!

Gorgeous views with somewhat challenging river access. The general feel was "better than camping." If you're a light sleeper, the beds squeak, but overall a great experience.

We enjoyed the location and cabin very nice and the only probkem was the beds downstairs were very uncomfortable and the couples in these room didnt sleep well both nights. There was also mowers there the first night mowing and weed eating as we tr I ed to relax on the back deck. They weee t there for at least 1-2 hours that eveni g.

Absolutely one of the best cabins we have ever rented. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Will strongly recommend

Family Christmas vacation. We were looking for a quiet little getaway out away from the hustle and bustle of our usual Christmas stays and this was fantastic. The cabin was amazing. Stayed warm even on the single digit cold nights. It had a nice back porch area overlooking the river that was nice to sit and relax and just watch the river flow. There was a very nice fire pit seating area to relax around on cold days and let the kids run and play outside on all the open land around the cabins. The cabins are only a couple of minutes from Glenwood. So, when you inevitably forget to bring or need something you are only a short drive from the local Dollar General or Wrights Food Mart. If you need something more than that can provide it is ~40min one way trip to either Hot Springs or Malvern to get to a Walmart. The only oddity we had with this cabin compared to other cabins we stay in at Christmas is this one did not have a washer and dryer in it. We have gotten so use to cabins coming with those I didn’t even think to ask or look for it in the amenities. This in now way broke or ruined the vacation, it’s just something you definitely notice when you’re use to having it.

We had a great time and plenty of room . Lots of wildlife to see and awesome views . Close drive to restaurants and etc

My family enjoyed Arkansas scenery in this cabin located on a river bank. The cabin is perfect for enjoying the big windows open to the outdoors or on the deck that goes round three sides of the cabin. Easy access to the river for hiking and exploring and still close to the amenities of the small town of Glenwood. Close to Hot Springs and all that offerings there. If you are thinking of staying in the cabin with a large family or group over several nights, perhaps bringing a few essentials would make the stay more pleasant since there were not enough towels for our family, paper towels, garbage bags, or dishwasher pods. Kitchen is not poorly appointed but if you plan to cook extensive meals for a large group in the kitchen, pots and pans are for more minimal meals. For grilling, there is everything one would need! I would highly recommend this getaway location for unplugging and relaxation.

Beautiful property on a beautiful river although it rained all weekend we still have the best time together as a family. I love the warm cozy Cabin feel on a beautiful river, We will definitely stay again!!

We had this trip planned before Hurricane Ian destroyed our home so this was more than a wonderful place to escape from the destruction. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The porch and the view of the river were so relaxing and nourishing for our weary souls. The owner was very accommodating and kind and we were all very happy with our stay at the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay, cabin was very clean and a great view of Caddo. The cabin is nice but beds and floor creaks with the slightest movement, other than that everything was great. We will definitely be back!

We loved sitting on the deck every morning with our coffee and watching the river.

This place was everything we expected and more. Check in was fast. The place was clean. Very quiet and beautiful. Host was very kind. We will definitely be going back. We celebrated my daughters 18th birthday there. She said it was the BEST!

Everything was great, it was so relaxing to sit by the river. Lots of great restaurants in the area, a Dollar General is nearby. The grounds are beautiful, we even saw a bald eagle fly over. We will be back.

Beautiful cabin right on the Caddo River. Close to town if you need to go grab something. The cabin was equipped with stuff for cooking and grilling. We had planned to float the River while we were there, but the River was too high. We found other stuff to do. We had a great time and loved this place so much. We will definitely be back!
