Terri & husband were responsive, met us onsite and walked us through the home. We were only 2 adult couples and were very comfortable, but the home is family friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and there were movies, toys and games. My daughter was able to bring her toddler over to visit because there was a gate for the stairs. This was a very cold weekend and the great deck and outdoor firepit were unused, but I would love to return during spring or fall months. Lastly, my son carelessly left property behind, but I was able to call Terri and she took it in stride, allowing him to return and retrieve it. I was mortified. Mary from Chicago

Stayed for a small family reunion. Home was very clean, with many amenities. Huge fire pit, wildlife, outside patio and large inside dining table for us all to gather depending on weather. Owners were very hands on and available. Grocery, pharmacy and restaurants very close proximity.

A wonderful, clean, peaceful home and property to stay at! They had everything you needed and then some. Very helpful and provided great information on things to do. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were large. Loved it and would highly recommend if staying in the area!

We enjoyed the whole month of July in this beautiful home! The space is comfortable, well-equipped, spacious and accommodating. We experienced lovely meals on the deck and evenings around the firepit. Our hosts were most communicative and accommodating! We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Terri’s beautiful home. Plenty of space for the entire family to relax and gather together. Terri and her hubby were very attentive even coming by frequently to remove the snow so we could get in and out safely!

The house is super nice. Clean, well stocked, comfortable and beautiful yard. We enjoyed Thanksgiving weekend at the house with a 3-generation family of eight. The basement family room was perfect for a kids play area and we had big meals and game nights at the dining room table. Three full bathrooms were helpful for getting the whole gang ready in the morning. Terri is the ultimate host, making us feel very welcome and willing to help with anything. Highly recommended property!

Great house and great location! There for our sons wedding in Minnetrista! We had a great time the house was big enough for all of us! Wish we could have hung out outside but were too busy and weather was not that great after the wedding! Terri met us and showed us around with a plate of delicious cookies! We would stay there again! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable furniture. We slept great - quality mattresses, no outside noise, and room darkening blinds. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely home and property. We stayed at this home the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. Being just 10 minutes from the Arboretum, it was a perfect location. Two large gathering areas indoor and at least 3 outside made for easy family time. Terri is a great hostess and the tips about the house that she provides at checkin are super helpful.

This property is very well cared for. The owners live close by and will be in contact with you as they do prefer to meet their guests. Everything was in great working order. The setting is beautiful. The house rules are very clear, but do note that at no time may there be more than 15 people on the property. I did not read this closely enough and had to move a Family Reunion Brunch to another location, but that was my fault. We would stay here again. Thank you!

What a perfect place to enjoy our summer month away from Florida! The home is beautiful, well furnished, and very comfortable. It is situated on 4 acres of various trees and outside seating. It is secluded yet close to shopping and dining places. The hosts were most responsive and pleasant to work with. We will definitely return!

This was the perfect spot for our family gathering. Terri exceeded our expectations from the start. She was quick to answer any questions, provided items that helped with a few great grandchildren that visited and was attentive to our needs. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable and the property was surrounded with beautiful trees which gave privacy. We loved the special touch of the warm chocolate chip cookies . . . which were gone by the end of the afternoon! Thanks for a great experience Terri!

We booked this house for a family vacation with our adult children and their families. The location was ideally situated between our planned venues of Target Field and Valleyfair. It is on a main road and sits well back from the road. The grounds are beautiful and include extensive nature area for hiking! The open living, dining and kitchen spaces open onto the back deck, making it ideal for family gathering. The homeowners even provided a gate for the stairs so that our youngest granddaughter, who is crawling, couldn’t get to the stairway. Our grandkids found the well stocked closet of games right away and set up a board game on the dining table. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great for our family, with everyone getting their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The only downside was that the rooms were not very soundproof and the Queen mattresses were uncomfortable. There were also no headboards on any of the beds, and my son cut the back of his head on the edge of wooden shelf in the lower level bedroom. My husband and I stayed in the room with the en suite and had zero complaints. While the homeowners were very welcoming, their requests to know our arrival and departure times was somewhat intrusive. With various work schedules and other obligations we just wanted to be able to arrive on our own schedule without the accountability.

The house and property is very well maintained. There is plenty of room and seating inside and out. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. And the hosts couldn't be more helpful. It more than met our expectations and would definitely recommend.

My family stayed for a wedding at the outpost center, The home was assessable to many things including the outpost center easy access centrally located for the area. The home was very clean and spacious and the whole store very accommodating everything you need is there in the home.

15 minutes from Mall of America, Plenty of Space, QUIET/ low traffic. The stay was fantastic, the house set up was perfect for 5 adults who wish to not share a bed. Could easily Cater to more. Perfect space for entertaining!

This property was well maintained and very clean. Check-in was a breeze with Terry and her cookies are out-of-this-world! The property is only minutes from grocery stores etc. and although it is on a four-lane boulevard the road isn't terribly busy and when the windows are closed you barely hear the traffic. Our grandkids had a wonderful Easter egg hunt in the backyard woods. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property that has a beautiful natural setting (with trees, large deck, and wild turkeys in the backyard in the morning), but also conveniently located on west side of twin cities with easy highway access to explore all the cities offer. Property is clean, well-maintained, and owners are incredible hosts that greeted us with fresh baked cookies. I would definitely stay here again

The house was fantastic...6 guys going ice fishing and we had a blast...all of us are in our 40s and quite out of shape but had so much fun at this house we even took the sleds out and it brought us back to our childhoods....the warm hot cookies at arrival were amazing...the owners kept in touch throughout and I would definitely stay there again

Terri & Dave welcomed us to their rental home in Chanhassen MN with a plate of delicious homemade cookies! Dave plowed us out after a heavy snowfall. The home was clean, well stocked, and exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our extended family to stay at for a long weekend of baby shower, birthdays, and early Christmas celebration.

When I woke up the first morning and had a kitchen to make breakfast in for myself and my family, I knew staying there was the right choice over a hotel. Very clean and well-maintained property inside and out. Perfect place for us to stay during a very busy weekend for a family wedding. Everyone loved it!

This property served our needs in location to community amenities such as, local co-op, butcher shop, hair salon etc…The layout of the house with space and details was amazing! Huge closet with hangers in each bedroom, extra linens and towels, paper products. Each bathroom had a hairdryer. Next the Kitchen and Pantry had everything you could possibly need. The treasurer was the outdoor space with a beautiful fire pit, multiple decks with plenty of lawn furniture, and ample yard. You will so enjoy this property.
