Yosemite Area Ranch - Ahwahnee
DG Ranch offre une occasion fantastique de découvrir les grands espaces à proximité du parc national de Yosemite. DG Ranch se trouve sur 49 acres isolée, à environ 30 minutes de l'entrée du parc national de Yosemite. Vous avez votre propre maison privée à la périphérie de Yosemite. La ville de Oakhurst se trouve à 10 minutes de route de notre ranch avec accès à de nombreux restaurants, des épiceries, des magasins, des banques et des activités. DG Ranch est une résidence familiale unique qui est censé être une retraite pour vous. L'histoire de notre ranch a commencé en 1959 quand il a été acheté pour être une ferme Chinchilla, pur-sang cheval et élevage. Notre famille a été soulevée et a grandi à la DG Ranch depuis 1979. A 18 Décembre 2010, la maison d'origine qui a été construit en 1963, a brûlé. Cependant, nous avons construit une nouvelle maison moderne avec toutes les commodités modernes sur la propriété et en Août 2012, notre nouvelle maison a été achevée.
DG Ranch dispose de quatre chambres, dont une chambre de maître avec un lit Queen et un futon qui peut loger confortablement deux personnes et une salle de bains privative. Les 3 autres chambres ont un lit queen aussi bien, et une salle de bains dans le couloir. Le salon comprend une cheminée à bois ainsi que d'un grand canapé pour répondre à tous les clients. Il n'y a pas de télévision, mais beaucoup de belles fenêtres pour regarder dans la nature. La cuisine est équipée avec des appareils neufs, une cheminée à gaz dans la salle à manger, et une table de salle à manger qui peut accueillir 8 et 10 sièges barstool aux comptoirs dans la cuisine. En outre, dans le domaine de la cuisine, il y a un siège de fenêtre remplie avec de nombreux jeux de société et puzzles pour votre plaisir. Il y a aussi un très grand pont attaché à l'arrière de la maison que vous pouvez vous asseoir à profiter de la vue, et même regarder la crique juste en dessous de la maison. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'un endroit pour faire la fête, ce n'est pas l'endroit pour vous. Au lieu de cela, cet endroit est censé être une retraite reposante et une maison loin de la maison.

This is our second year staying at this property and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of room for our 2 small families and great open floor plan to enjoy each other’s company. It didn’t have a blender, but had EVERYTHING else we needed.

We loved DG ranch!! Such a beautiful property! The house was even better in person-really spacious and clean and they had everything we needed. The kids loved the ping pong and having so much space to enjoy.

The DG Ranch exceeded all expectations. It's a beautiful, secluded location with all the amenities. Our family of 4 adult couples had more than enough room. The house has a great, open space for gathering, a large deck for enjoying the trees and the sound of the creek running below and ping pong in the garage was so fun. Restaurants in town are only 10 minutes away. Our stay coincided with a heat wave and we were very cool and comfortable. I highly recommend staying at the DG Ranch.

The house was spacious and clean and very close to explore Bass Lake and only 10 minutes away from Oakhurst (for gas, groceries and anything else you may have forgotten to bring). It was about 35 minutes to the south entrance of Yosemite, and about 1.5 hours to Yosemite Valley,
The house was in a very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view from the living room with wild turkeys roaming around .
The owner was very responsive — we couldn’t find sheets for the extra futon in the master bedroom and the neighbor brought a set over within 15 minutes!

Family gathering visiting Yosemite. Close enough but far away from the crowds. The house was very clean and comfortable. Definitely worth a repeat if we visit the area again. Nice and quiet and secluded for privacy.

This is such a wonderful place to stay. The house was perfect (even better than pictured) and the property was really nice as it backs up to what feels like a forest. My kids loved hiking down to the creek. The property owner was helpful, quick to reply to any requests, and she was very kind. Overall, this is a great place. I'll be back again soon.

Stay was great! Just as shown. Plenty of room and a great place to relax. Peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again and the kitties were very sweet🤗

Great house. Would highly recommend . Only downside is that there are no TVs and I did not notice that that was specifically mentioned, however, it worked out because the family was able to spend more quality time together at night after the days’ activities. Perfect location to get to Bass Lake and Yosemite. Everything was very clean and all essentials were available.

The property was more than we expected. It's more beautiful and utilized than you see on the listing, which is exactly opposite from the usual home bookings.
This is perfect for larger groups if one wants to stay 1 hour away from Yosemite Valley Village. I will surely recommend this property to others.

This place is lovely and specious with amazing view and clean which make it a great place for family and friends gathering and small parties. The house was in a good condition with all the supplies and a ping pong table at the garage with couches and a cooler for your drinks. DG is very responsive and supportive. Will definitely stay here again!

We found the house very clean and more beautiful than the listing. The large open family room plus kitchen and the very large deck were very relaxing and inviting - great places for an extended family and friends to come together. The sound from the Miami creek close to the back deck was very relaxing.We also enjoyed playing table tennis in the garage (bring your own racquets). The pantry was well stuffed and there were lots of dishes and cooking utensils. The beautiful cat was well behaved, stayed outside of the house, and kept watch on us! The house was easy to find via Google map and there were adequate signs for the Deo Gloria (DG) Ranch. Familiarizing the surroundings before travel via satellite image map helped. Yosemite entrance gate was not close but was not far either, For spending family time together while visiting Yosemite a house like this is a better option compared to in-park lodging, specially if you have older folks in the party! We loved the inspirational messages throughout the house.

This is a lovely home, well cared for, with all the beauty of the Yosemite Area right in the back yard. Obviously the owners care very much about their visitors. It was a fantastic place to stay, comfy, spacious, and nicely decorated. I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed this nice, clean home tucked away from everything. The kids enjoyed the ping pong set up in the garage and even put a puzzle together. It’s been a long time since they did that! With no tv there they really unplugged. We all needed that. Short drive to Mariposa, Bass Lake, and Oakhurst. A little farther to Yosemite but still happy with the stay. The host was very response. If you needed anything this home had it! We would definitely stay here again.

DG Ranch was wonderful!
I stayed here with my husband and family for a few days since we wanted a place nearby to travel to Yosemite. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is in a quiet and peaceful ranch. The local country kitties were so adorable and friendly. They didn’t have any TVs but we had plenty to do 😊 will definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful family retreat
Our family (of 10) met and stayed at DG's property, coming from Oregon, Kansas & Minnesota to attend a family wedding at Bass Lake Resort, CA. The place was perfect for us, couldn't have asked for a nicer home for our stay. Would recommend it to any and everyone.

The house was amazing. Very spacious and accommodating. The kids enjoyed being out doors and playing with the games. About 20 mins from Yosemite National Park. Overall great place to stay!

Just as it was described
The place was nice, clean, spacious, and quite. Its great for 2 families. My son loves bird watching and there were plenty of wild birds (turkeys too) on the property. The lack of TV was no issue for us and the kids still had fun hanging out.
The place is hard to find if you are using google maps. I would suggest you navigate to "Rd 621 and High Point court", this will take you to the entrance of High Point court which leads to a cul de sac (there are signs at the end of the cul de sac to navigate to the property).
It is a 30-50 min drive to the entrance of Yosemite (based on traffic) and like others have said it'll take 1 hour 30 minutes to get to the valley.
The kitchen pantry had everything we needed and there was a grill in the garage for grilling as well. All in all a nice and peaceful stay.

Great location and very peaceful
As advertised, this was a great vacation home for the week just outside of Oakhurst. It was our (6 adults) launching point to do daily trips to the south entrance of Yosemite. Although only 14 miles or so from the entrance, it is a full hour and half drive from the DG ranch to the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, plus whatever wait there is to get into the park. But, overall for us it was a great choice, though further than we would have liked. The home itself is very peaceful and spacious, with a great deck to enjoy the property while eating a meal. It is 5-10 min also from a Vonn's which is great to have nearby. If we were to make any suggestions it would be two - that the beds be upgraded to better mattresses, as a good night's sleep is great to count on when hiking every day, and that sharp knives be available. We like to cook all of our meals, and having sharp knives is a nice luxury to have on hand. Other than that, we enjoyed this property, and the owners were very thoughtful to communicate the new regulations for Yosemite to us well ahead of our stay, so we could make sure we had the reservations we needed. Thanks so much for a great week!

This is property is perfect for big families. 30 mins away from Yosemite Mariposa Grove. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Yosemite again.

Family Trip
The property was very nice for my family. Out in the country with many things to do within a 40-minute drive. The only negative which was noted on the site was there was no TV. Could have used a few more drinking glasses but there were many coffee cups. Had a great time with the ping-pong table in the garage and the back porch was great to sit on at night as it was too hot during the day. Over-all great house for the price.

Perfect for 2 Families traveling together
The communication with owner was clear and all questions were answered promptly. The home is beautiful, clean , and SECLUDED! There were plenty of supplies provided and kitchen was well stocked for food preparation. 40 min from the gate at Yosemite. Loved our stay!

Yosemite Trip
Had an amazing time visiting Yosemite and Bass Lake, had an issue with the AC but it was resolved fairly quickly. The house was secluded and lovely. A little hard to find but we managed to find it.

Home is cozy & spacious
We love the inside of the house; spacious, homey & clean. The only negative part is its location, which is way far from the main road. Other than that, we had fun staying in the house.

House is very clean, plenty of extra towels and toiletries. Kitchen is fully equipped and stacked with necessities. Excellent instructions booklet for property rules and management. Our family enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Great for large families
We enjoyed our stay at DG Ranch. Tucked away, we had plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed playing games, splashing in the nearby creek and finding constellations in the starry sky!

Awesome getaway home
We have enjoyed our family trip in this house. Short drive to stores, Bass lake, hikes and close to Yosemite south entrance for a day trip. The house is spacious and there's plenty of outside space for play and far from neighbors. Great view!

Lovely Home
We enjoyed the warm decorations all around the house. The house is clean and situated in a quiet area. We loved the small river down behind the house. There are two ways to get to the house according to Apple Maps, however one way was blocked by a fallen tree on the private dirt road, so we used the alternate route (Road 621) instead of Sunrise Drive. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Great space for family stay
DG Ranch was an amazing place to stay at! My family loved it! Being surrounded by nature, made the experience much more enjoyable. The running stream, the birds at all hours of the day, the flying turkeys, and sunrises were the cherry on top!Will come back again when the opportunity presents itself. Definitely recommend!

Great place for family
We spent the New Years holiday at this lovely house. The place is spacious and very clean and the kids had a great time playing ping pong. One of the days, we went for a hike in Yosemite National Park. Other than that, we just relaxed, cooked a bunch, and walked around the beautiful property. It was a great getaway and we felt recharged.

Peaceful
We took a group of friends/family to spend 2 days together. And this house was perfect. Nice huge kitchen to break bread together, garage with ping pong table, open backyard to go hike and best of all no TVs! The house Was super clean and had everything we needed to cook and bathrooms had great amenities as well! We got a little lost getting to the home since it was super dark and we had to have someone drive down to meet us and take us up to the house but we loved that it was away from everything and secluded.

Beautiful peaceful ranch
Perfect ranch for a vacation
For all ages. The house has everything you need to make good memories. We were greeted by wild turkeys! Very peaceful and quiet. My family notice a lot of biblical scriptures very beautiful. I'm hoping one day my son will read the bible and notice the peace of a home that praises God. Everything was perfect and this was my first time reserving a vacation home I had no idea what to bring so I brought my own towels, paper plates, forks, spoons, cooking pots and pans but this home had everything.
Nice little hike to the creek below was a very nice walk. Saw 3 deers🦌 around the property. When your inside sleeping you can't hear anything from outside good dual pane windows. The home was not cold at night. Thank you DG Ranch for a beautiful 3 night stay.

Had an excellent stay. The property is just as listed. Plenty of space and room for everyone. Love the location with no neighbors around. House is very nice and comfortable. Pictures are accurate. The deck and view out back is amazing. Would definately stay again.
