Waveland was absolutely beautiful. We had such a great time learning about the history of the town while also going to the beach (of course). Hardly an hour from NO made it an awesome spot. The town was quite tranquil and very relaxing full of great people. The place we stayed was wonderful. Martin was incredibly kind and helpful and provided more than advertised would definitely come back.

We had a family of 7-my husband and I and our 5 children (ages 13, 10, 9, 7, & 5!) they each had their own beds, our oldest had her own room and bathroom, the others had their own bathroom & we had our own bathroom. SO MUCH SPACE!!! There was no fighting/bickering & the house was well supplied & the owner was fantastic to when with!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

The house and the trip was excellent. The bathtubs in the house were the best. The house location was very close to the beach and central to other locations.

This house is much bigger than the pictures even show. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and had more than enough room for everyone. It was great having a bathroom for each bedroom. The house was clean and Martin was a wonderful host. This is also a really great beach for kids. It wasn't a problem having to drive to the beach because there was no way we could walk anyway with all of our beach stuff. The beach at Waveland is the perfect beach for kids since you can walk out forever and it stays shallow. We also went to the Hurricane Katrina museum in town which is worth going to. Anyway, Martin's house, communication, everything was wonderful. Do not hesitate to stay there. Thank you Martin!

This is a nice place to stay with 3 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms and is great for a larger family visit-we'd stay here again next time we visit. Chirping smoke alarms were a minor problem throughout out visit, including one in locked room that we could not get to in order to replace the battery. Martin offered to come over to fix things which was nice.

This was our second time to stay @ this property. We enjoy the fact that the house is large enough for 3 couples to each have their own bedroom & bath. We enjoyed visiting the local attractions such as the hurricane Katrina museum & the Mardi Gras museum. Everyone was very friendly. Mr Docherty was readily available to answer any concerns we had. We hope to make a return visit! .

We got married on the beach over the weekend and with 3 daughters we needed all of the bathroom space! The house was amazing! Super nice host! Can't wait to stay here again!

This house was *much* bigger than we needed for 4 people. But it was really nice. There was a porch, grill, under-house porch swing.
S&B is the restaurant across the street, friendly people, great food!
The beach was so quiet!
I couldn't get the jet tub tub drain to seal, but the owner was responsive. :)

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay. About one hour from the French Quarter in New Orleans, also easy driving distance to Biloxi, Gulfport and any number of really nice places to eat in the local area. Nice beach, friendly people, we had a really nice week. Don’t forget to visit the space museum you while you are there near Stennis space center. Martin was a great host and we would stay again at this location.

Great vacation house!
The house was just wonderful! So much room. All the bedrooms were huge. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and welcoming. Martin checked in with us a couple of times because bad weather was expecting to hit the area. Luckily it moved north and we Did not have anything but a little rain. The area of Waveland and Bay St. Louis are just wonderful, full of lots of cute shops and restaurants. I could not believe how friendly everyone was. We will definitely make this trip again and if the clover cottage is available we would very much left to stay there another time.

We really enjoyed our time together here. House was just as described, even better actually as kitchen had just been updated with granite counter tops & the deck with cable railings. Looked great & very comfortable.

Great clean home to stay in. Wish house was just a bit closer to the beach. Martin was a great host and communicated promptly with us and went above and beyond communicating about hurricane Ida.

Nice and relaxing
We had a wonderful stay! The house was in a good area and a short drive to the beach. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable! Also, loved that every bedroom had a full bath! Would definitely stay again!

Great quiet spot
Easy to locate, wasn’t too sure at first about the neighborhood but turned out to be a really great location to get to the water, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a low key beach getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was a great jumping off point to the beach, restaurants, and even a day trip to New Orleans. Everyone loved having their own bathroom connected to their bedrooms. The house was well stocked. We would definitely stay again.

Twelve days over the holidays
Cute elevated beach bungalow. Worked great for us as we're traveling and were towing a 28' travel trailer--property has a pull-through driveway and even a 30 amp service hookup! Nice deck, and concrete pad beneath the property to hang out in. Wasn't quite as clean as I'd like to see, particularly given the cost of cleaning fee. Big plus--we had a letter arrive late from the holidays, and Martin was kind enough to forward the mail to us. Thanks Martin!

Just as promised
Property was very clean & bigger than expected. Not right on beach but a short bicycle ride away with the bicycles provided. Short drive into Bay St Louis with some cute little boutiques & good places to eat. If you have time , highly recommend The Shed BBQ in Ocean Springs... about an hour drive from the house but we’ll worth the drive. Nice golf course @ The Hollywood Casino .

Home away from home!
The Owner has thought of everything. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive and there are bicycles, beach chairs, boogie boards, & beach umbrellas. There is tons of space in the house and tons of room outside! We felt at home from the minute we walked in and the Owner goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. There is even a binder with suggestions of places to visit and places to eat along with instructions on how to fix any small thing that may occur. The place is clean and bright and the outside area has shade as well as sun. Can’t say enough about this place. Thanks so much to the Owner’s for sharing “Clover Cottage” with us.

This property was very spacious, amazing, and thought of most everything. There was a couple of things missing that I would’ve liked to seen. I would’ve liked to seen a smart TV or a DVD player the time that we were there was a tropical storm and it rained most of the time. On a positive note there were bikes to ride which the kids loved. Only a street down from the beach. There was fishing poles which was absolutely amazing if you’re into fishing you will love this. Giant master Jacuzzi. This home was a big and spacious enough room for everybody. I feel like the owner did really well!

The property was very nice. We had lots of room and parking. The yard is secluded with lots of shade. Only five minutes from the beach.

Spacious House near beach
Nice open concept house with pretty much everything you need for a beach getaway or just some time with family. Martin is great at responding to any issues or questions and immediately begins to work towards a resolution.

A bunny in the yard
The home is perfect for a good size family with a few friends and only 5 minutes from the beach. If you are here wed. thru sat. 1 of the best places for poboys is at the end of the driveway. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved every part of our stay! The house was very clean and well equipped! Very fast WiFi. An extremely short drive from the beach and lots of restaurants! This is my second time staying here and I'm already planning a third! Thank you again!

Dream House
This beach house has everything you need for a great vacation! We didn't want to leave. It's so roomy and comfortable, it felt like our home instead of a rental. We had so much fun there and made so many memories. Martin and Michelle were great! They responded quickly to all messages, text and phone calls. The ONLY thing about this property I would change would be them getting an wheelchair accessible entrance lime a ramp. We have a 12 hear old in a wheelchair. We were able to get her up and down but it was a workout! You're minutes from the beach. The kids loved biking there and fishing. I wish we could have stayed there for months.
