Scott had wonderful communication before, during and after our stay. The location was perfect for us to get away. A little more remote with not as many places to eat/shop/visit, but with a decent drive we had good day trips to Plymouth, Boston, and Salem. The house was great with amazing views, and equipped with everything we needed during our visit. So great! Thank you for a spectacular stay, Scott!

This house is wonderful. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Each morning, we watched the sunrise over the ocean and counted seals in the bay. This will be a yearly destination.

Our third stay in Scott's lovely home did not disappoint! We normally don't rent the same house twice as there are so many beautiful places out there but we can't help ourselves with this property! We feel like we're "home" when we pull into the driveway! We love walking in the surrounding neighborhood, dining in our favorite restaurants and just hanging at the house watching our boy Saul (I named a seal that I see everyday!). This home is so well maintained that we know there will be no surprises upon arrival! Scott, thank you for keeping the outdoor shower open! It was an added bonus to an already fantastic week! Already thinking about a return visit next year!

The location of this home is superb, close enough to walk to town for shops and restaurants. The views from this home can’t be beat. The sunrises are beautiful. The seals are always frolicking out front. The balcony is a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the crashing surf. A little bit of heaven on earth.

Wonderful view, a gorgeous house with beautiful hardwood floors, tastefully decorated with a fireplace, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was peaceful and relaxing with the sound of the waves. There were multiple restaurants with fresh, delicious seafood, some within walking distance. We found this house a wonderful place to stay, whether stormy or sunny. A charming and welcoming community. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would love to stay here again. Mary Lou & Tom

This was a wonderful stay at a beautiful property with amazing views. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves was lovely. Scott was communicative and helpful. Only wish I could have stayed longer. We hope to stay here again.

Everything about this place was perfect for us! Sat & drank coffee while watching the ocean, went to sleep to the sound of the waves & saw the seals sunning on the rocks. Be sure to take binoculars. Super quaint little town away from all the hustle & bustle but close enough to drive anywhere you want to go. Visited Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Plymouth, Boston & Salem, ate way too much seafood & made some priceless family memories. Scott was fantastic & super responsive any time we had questions. Stayed here with my husband and son. The views were amazing!! Close enough to everything that we wanted to do. This was the first vacation in a while that I wasn’t ready to go home. Definitely can’t wait to come back!!!

Loved this house. ..First, I'd like to say it was extremely clean. Very impressed. The town of Brant Rock is a little isolated, but I love that. Several restaurants are nearby (didn't try them, loved cooking in), and stores for food are not far. I love that there are interesting things to do within a 30 minute drive, and Boston is about an hour away. Excellent walks! Everything is comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Super nice appliances. Really enjoyed the fireplace, and just hanging out and enjoying the view, which is incredible. Saw a yellow moon. . .!!! And the last day there were 3 seals just hanging out sunning on the rocks at low tide. Bring binoculars. The stars were the most amazing I've seen anywhere. The only thing to know is that the bedrooms are small and there is a shared bathroom on the second floor. The other full bath is on the main floor. I definitely hope to visit this amazing home again. We spent a cold winter week in this cozy home. The fireplace came in very handy as storm blasted us with high winds and 14 degree temperatures. The sun rises over the ocean in the morning was absolutely amazing. The location on this South Shore home is perfectly placed for day trips to Boston and all the historic country side of Plymouth County. All the appliances are new and worked perfectly. The newly renovated home sits just feet away from the shore line where the kids spent hours of exploring the rocky ocean floor in low tide looking for treasures. Scott was pleasure and always available for anything. We would definitely recommend staying here. The Donahue Family

Hi Scott, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering your house in Brant Rock at what a lovely home you've made there for your guests. The house was spotlessly clean, nicely appointed and offered all the comforts of home . . . plus++++. Your location right on the ocean front didn't disappoint. I just happened to visit during a storm coming in from the North with super high tides (full moon), howling winds and rough pounding seas. It was a thrill. Once the storm passed, the surf and wind continued to be whipped up on the wild side. It was rugged stunning beauty at the dawning of each day with atmosphere, colors and reflections on the surf changing by the moment. I'm an artist and couldn't have asked for more. The fact that, at this time of year, there is no water/beach access directly in front of your house was not a detraction for me at all. But for anyone coming to stay here with kids, it might be. However, there are plenty of beaches nearby if one is interested in beach walking. Duxbury Beach Park (open to the public) is a beautiful and safe beach that kids will love even in the winter. Marshfield Town Beaches are all open during the winter and accessible. Maybe there are temporary beach stickers available for town beaches during the summer for vacationers. (?) Something to check out. Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues. You'll have to be able to navigate 15 steps up to get into the house. The Brant Rock Market is a short drive away. I liked the neighborhood vibe and the fact that they offer some locally crafted goods and have a deli where you can get sandwiches and the stuff to take out. Within walking distance from the house is the Fairview Restaurant and just a bit further down the road are other "local" restaurants to check out. Brant Rock has some interesting history to its name too, including The Brant Rock Tower and the The First Transatlantic Telephonic Transmission. I'd recommend this place to friends in an instant. Thanks Scott an aside: Scott, there was one thing that bothered me though. There was an industrial smell of some sort in the kitchen. I have a feeling it might be the polish/solvent used to clean the stainless steel appliances. Not sure though but it didn't diminish over the time of my visit. I lit some candles to try to cover it up. It's a minor point but it was notable.

We had such a great time in Brant Rock. I didn't realize that it was a little sea side town when I booked the house so that was a nice surprise. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The views of the ocean were amazing. We had breakfast a couple of times at the Brant Rock Hop which was delicious and their service was great. Communicating with Scott was easy and he was very helpful when I needed to contact him. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Scott !

This was our third stay, and the property was just as nice as the first time. The house is well stocked and super clean, the neighborhood is quiet and full of nice folks, and you can't beat watching seals playing, bottling, and sunning themselves right outside your windows. We love this place.

Our second week at the Dixon cottage was even more relaxing than the first! We love everything about this property....location, updates, cleanliness, charm, amenities, location, communication with owner, location, etc. Looking forward to rented again next year!

We had a very enjoyable visit! The house is fully stocked with kitchen items, towels, and bed linens. The eastern view of the ocean is amazing and it's relaxing to watch the tide come in and out over the rocks from the deck and large windows. Walk just two blocks to the lovely Fairview Inn restaurant - the clam chowder is excellent. The owner is friendly and very responsive.

The house is very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the view is beautiful, the sound of the ocean soothing and we even had the treat of seeing seals in the water and sunning on nearby rocks. We were looking for a place to take a break and catch our breath before the holidays and this was the perfect place to do it.

This property became our home for a week. It wasn't a place to stay. For our first trip out after the Covid year, it was a great and welcoming experience. Kitchen and living space were where we spent our time as a family; that's nice with teenagers who at home hide in their rooms. And we loved walking the neighborhood and spending time with the seals. Thanks for letting us stay!

Perfect spot for a much needed get away. The home had everything we needed. We met the neighbors and they were very friendly. Definitely recommend this home!

If you are on the fence in regards to booking this property, do it. You won't be disappointed. We were quite pleased with the quaint charm this beach house has to offer. It's located in a quiet, beautiful community right on the ocean. The views were stunning on our morning walks. Scott was excellent to deal with. His instructions for our arrival/departure were very clearly communicated and he was expeditious in his responses. There were so many things on our itinerary that we were not able to do because of time constraints, but we'll be back. When we do, we'll be staying here again. Thank you Scott for an excellent experience.

The Dixon property in Brant Rock is exactly what we needed! Our son had surgery at Boston's Childrens Hospital and we had to stay in the area for a week for his post-op appointment. The scenery is incredible and the community is we qaint. There are several resturants in walking distance. We had a wonderful time walking, playing games, and just getting some quality family time. I would recomment this property to anyone! The owner is extremely kind and very accomodating.

What a wonderful cottage right on the water. It was just wonderful to hear the waves crashing at night. Thanks Scott for sharing this beautiful home. We will definitively stay here again.

The house is updated, clean and cozy. The view is unparalleled ! So perfect!

Cozy and comfortable house that has been recently remodeled. They took advantage of the incredible views with windows all around the main living space and sliders from bedrooms to the outdoor deck. Kitchen was smallish but very well designed with newer appliances. Fun to cook while taking in the view. Walking distance to some wonderful restaurants. We had a terrific time in this clean and comfortable home and hope to return someday.
