The property is fantastic...we enjoyed grapefruit and lemons off trees on the property...eggs from the beautiful chickens on the property and fresh vegetables from Gina's garden. The two dogs was especially special, they are wonderful pets! Gina and Livi make you feel at home!

Beautiful "pool house" in quiet neighborhood, with all the amenities. The owners are on site and even brought us a dozen eggs from their chickens.

We had a very relaxing time. A evening soak in the hot tub was very relaxing. The pool house was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had fun with the main house’s two dogs and cats It was nice to hear chickens clicking around and their eggs were delicious! Citrus trees everywhere. The house is about a 2mile walk to Peoria Sports Complex.
Gina & Livvie, the hosts, were very attentive and helpful.
We would stay here again!

This pool house was on a beautiful, large property. The space was clean and well-equipped with everything one needs. King bed was super comfy. Home owners are pleasant and friendly. I was thrilled that I had this home to come back to after long days out rather than a drab hotel room.

This was our first ever VRBO...and now we will use it as our standard by which future VRBO's will be judged. This is a shared space with the property owners, as they are in the main house while the VRBO is the "pool house", which is the largest "pool house" I have ever seen. 2 suite bedrooms with full baths, a fullsize laundry room, enormous kitchen....STOCKED of most things you would ever need...if you need something just ask Gina or Livi. We had great communication before we even got there, and once we arrived we met one of the owners in person and he showed us EVERYTHING and introduced us to Pixie & Pogo the dogs, and Rhone and Gypsy the cats (there is a 3rd cat, that we didn't meet). There are also about a dozen beautiful chickens roaming free. It was a paradise. We settled in very easily and the bed was wonderful. We used the pool quite a bit the next day, and it was perfect temp, very clean and very relaxing. Gina and her granddaughter joined us and we had a wonderful time. The pool is beautiful and also very large with a deep end. The pool is located between the main house and pool house...and the entire property is completely fenced. We made it to State Farm Stadium from the VRBO in 20 minutes, and there is plenty of grocery/restaurants/etc. nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be inquiring to stay there again the next time we come to Phoenix.

Almost reluctant to tell the world how cool this place is, as it’ll likely make it harder for us to get back. Spacious, well-appointed two-bedroom retreat, overseen by two warm, engaging hosts, augmented by two affectionate, energetic pups, featuring a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, staffed by roughly a dozen exotic hens laying golden eggs that highlight every breakfast. Located in a community where residents raise a menagerie ranging from turkeys to tortoises, nearby wonderful, accessible trails for hiking, and several golf courses. After exercise, we spent hours in the pool and hot-tub, which highlight a courtyard populated by an orchard of edible, juicable fruit trees (how did I live this long without eating a kumquat?). No exaggeration - our best VRBO experience.

*We desired a place close to the NW ball parks and it is a great location
* It feels like a country setting but you’re 5 minutes from everything you might want or need
* The house is newer and well-designed and in pristine condition
* The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious
* Fresh eggs and fruit are provided to you, how cool is that!
* The yard and the pool are beautiful
* The hosts are genuinely gracious, responsive and enjoyable but not intrusive at all

This is our second time staying in the pool house. It is everything you want in a vacation rental. It is a beautiful semi rural setting with fresh eggs for breakfast and farm animals all around. The house and pool are emaculate. The kitchen is well stocked and very functional. The property is close to Peoria and not far from Glendale and Phoenix. And all arrangments with Gena were easy and professional.

Gena and Livie and their sidekicks Pogo and Pixie are great hosts. We loved playing frisbee with the dogs and hanging out in the sun-or covered porch, by the pool. Hot tub under the stars (every night but one) for a month. The pool house is a great size, and feels safe and is very comfortable. THE best sheets and beds for a great night sleep, and make it so cozy. Our kids were welcomed guests and we had friends over for dinner and lunch. I'm glad we have the pool house to look forward to in 2024.

The pool house is spacious and the best equipped rental I have ever used. we were in town for a Cardinal football game and the pool house is very conveniently located. All I can say is, rent this place! you won't be disappointed.

The property was very relaxing, the amenities were top-notch. Having a pool and hot tub right outside our door was a definite plus (although we did not get to use it much, due to weather). The hosts were very nice and responsive to questions or needs. If you want a restaurant recommendation, ask Livi! The fresh eggs and tree-picked grapefruit and pomegranate were a nice addition to an overall great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING property and stay
What a beautiful property. The accommodations were perfect for us! Everything is very clean and furnished with all our needs. Very comfortable beds. Added bonus of fresh fruit trees on property for our morning juice. Very friendly owners were available and very accommodating! We loved our stay and will return. A Great Getaway
I won't echo the great reviews here already, except to say that they are all true (So, I guess I DID echo the great reviews?)
My trip has a few asterisks, but it was awesome just the same. *I arrived at 2AM, and the instructions were so clear that I walked right in, and promptly collapsed in one of the beautifully appointed rooms. The next morning I had tea by the pool, and made my acquaintance with one of the cats. By 9 I had met the whole crew. This is such a welcoming place. *I stayed with my daughter, who has some sensory issues. The animals were part of the reason I chose the Pool House. She wasn't disappointed. From bonding with the cats and dogs, to feeding grapes to the chickens, she loved every minute of her stay. I did also. That isn't to say that if you wanted to lay low, and stay away from animals, you could have that kind of trip also.
The hot tub and pool are sparkling, and the Pool House is in fantastic shape. Attention to detail is obvious here. There's a lot of space. From the well appointed rooms, to the bathrooms in each that give everyone their own space. So many thoughtful measures to this property that I couldn't possible mention them all--and each was just right.
I can't wait to return! Neither can my daughter. I'm sure the cats will miss her!

A Touch of Country in the City
Despite being located in the city of Peoria this spot has a country feel to it. The owner provided us with fresh eggs from their chickens. We sampled oranges and grapefruit from the many fruit trees. In addition to chickens there are numerous other animals in the neighborhood, including ponies and turkeys. And the owners pets frequently came by for a visit.
The house has 2 master suites with king beds separated by the kitchen and living room. Everything was clean and attractive. The kitchen was well appointed and functional. As the name implied the property has a large pool with attached hot tub. There is very comfortable patio furniture and ample shade which makes hanging out by the pool a treat. Although it was a little cool when we visited we spent the vast majority of our time out by the pool.
The owners were very friendly, and happy to give advice on restaurants and points of interest.
Given the opportunity I will surely return to the property if I am even in the neighborhood.

Retirement trip.
We really enjoyed staying on this property. Our hosts were great and the property was very comfortable and quiet. Staying on the property made it hard to believe you were in the City. Gena and Levi were fantastic! We appreciated the fresh fruit and eggs and our visits with them.

Beyond my expectations....I did not want to leave!
The photos cannot do justice to the charm, warmth and comfort of this property. The hosts were incredibly accommodating...considerate, friendly and welcoming...... and they allowed me to interact with their sweet pets...AND......the sociable chickens as well! (oh those fresh eggs!) The three weeks flew by and truthfully I was surprisingly sad to return home!

Perfect getaway for two couples.
This property was amazing! It was the perfect accommodations for two couples. There were two huge bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a lovely kitchen , sitting room in between. We also had access to the owner’s pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace and outdoor patios. The owners ( hostess) were in their own home on the grounds and were very hospitable. They were there to give us excellent suggestions on where to go and where to eat. The location was also very convenient in between 17 and 101 in Peoria. Would definitely use this property again when in the area.

A slice of heaven
We’ve stayed across the valley in many homes but none can compare to the pool house. Our hosts were attentive and very wonderful to talk with plus the atmosphere was quiet and very relaxing. I would recommend this place without hesitation because I’m sure you’ll have a 5 star stay!

Delightful retreat- can't wait to return
Simply delightful, peaceful. private and relaxing. The host has the natural touch to make you feel as if at home. The pool and the grounds are great to relax in, the spacious, neat and clean house is supplied with everything you need including laundry soap. Well trained and sweet dog Pogo, greets you once he gets to know you, cats, chicken and horses nearby- oh:)) We so look forward to stay again when in the area. This is a pool/guest house on a large property with well maintained gardens and a pool between the rental and the owner's home. It is just NW of Phoenix in a neighborhood with horse properties. It is a beautifully built and furnished home. The pool can be heated upon request and the hot tub is heated each evening. We went with our 17 year old son and his 19 year old friend. They were so happy to pick fruit, play football in the back yard and swim. We loved the shaded seating and dining around the pool, the mature trees and the animals on the outskirts of the property. Shetland ponies next door, chickens/roosters, horses. There is a sweet dog, Pogo, on the property and a few cats. I was concerned about my cat allergy, but was never bothered by the cats. They mostly stayed on the owners side of the property and the cleanliness of everything helped. Gena is very helpful and all went so smoothly that we came home very relaxed.We spent a few days at Lake Pleasant. Fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and hiking.

More than a home away from home
We love staying at Gena’s! We have stayed so often over this last 10 months that it has become our true home away from home. The house is meticulously clean and bright. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. The bathrooms are oversized with walk in showers. We love the full kitchen that is stocked with everything to make meals. We made freshly squeezed orange juice in the mornings, had fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables. We have found that we pack less because there is a laundry area with all the supplies to wash our clothes. The grounds are beautiful, green and filled with vegetable plants and fruit trees. The courtyard boasts a pool and hot tub duo and hotel style loungers. Waking up in the morning and sitting in the sun is just as nice as sitting by the custom outdoor fireplace in the evenings. Another perk is that parking is off street as the property is fully gated. Gena is a lovely kind person and a great hostess. She has always gone above and beyond. Each time we leave we look forward to going back.

Feels like home
The Pool House has become our family’s home away from home. Gena, Livi & the animals are amazing and we count them as friends. Every time we enter their gate we are reminded of how beautiful the grounds are. We open the door to the clean inviting house and instantly relax. We put our things away and head outside to walk around the vast green property. Pogo the dog is usually our guide as we head toward the chickens, and then onward to check out the fruit trees and the vegetables. We have stayed often and are sad when it’s time to leave. We’ll be back though.
