What an unforgettable view of a dramatic southern Oregon coastal cove, ideal with both a sitting-patio option and an indoor viewing nook with panoramic windows. The place is very clean and the furnishings are quite comfortable. Being a corner-unit, it also feels relatively private. The complex was serene and simple to navigate. Communication with the host was exceptional and our experience went very smoothly. I couldn't have asked for better.

Toby’s crack shack is an invitation into a rental unit that is clearly used and loved by its owners. The view is absolutely stunning and the condo is very well stocked and comfortable. This is one VRBO listing that is as good or better than it appears online. A gem on the Southern Oregon Coast.

Valerie puts the personal human contact into VRBO. She called me twice before my visit with information, which provided easy contact with her when the storms encouraged me to delay my visit two days. Valerie’s responses were quick and helpful.
The condo is perfect in every way! It’s the best location in Rainbow Rock Condos. I appreciated their precious water conservation advice and their concern about fires on the nearby beach leading to wildfires. Recycling is great too!
And, the view is so relaxing and healing!

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is even nicer than the pictures. The view was outstanding! Because of the way the property was situated you get a bit of a sunrise view as well as a sunset. I woke up early most mornings and sat in the chairs facing windows on 3 sides and just soaked in the view. The condo was also super clean and very well equipped. The reclining chairs and all the beds were very comfortable. As well, the manager of the property, Valerie, was excellent (very helpful with prompt communication). We have already recommended the place to others and would love to return.

The property was lovely - beautiful views, excellent supples in the kitchen, comfortable master bed, as well as a comfortable couch in the living room. Unfortunately we left the unit very early, each morning, to go fishing, and didn't have enough time to enjoy the unit and the property. We plan to come again!!!

Tony’s is a great rental on the Oregon coast. The condo is impeccably furnished and the views are perfect. We had a little trouble opening the lockbox for the door key (just a little difficult to grasp and pull out, likely from inexperience), but once inside we were drawn to the expansive windows with the Pacific just outside. My daughter, in her 40’s, and 10-year old grandson walked the paths down to the beach and tide pools several times, but as a nearly 80-year old with not the best balance, I was somewhat daunted with the path all the way down. However, we picked the abundant blackberries partway along the beach path, and I even made a blackberry cobbler with supplies in the kitchen! Perfect finish to a restaurant left-overs dinner while sitting at the dining table with those to-die-for views. Tony’s is very convenient to Hwy. 101 and Brookings. The garage for one car is an added bonus. I’d stay here again!

Beautiful views from this condo on the coast! Although you are unable to get directly on the beach from this location due to logs washed up on the beach, there were several hiking trails accessible and beach access within an easy driving distance. The condo is comfy and cozy and the view is unbeatable! Valerie communicated prior to our trip and was available and very helpful in addressing our needs. Great place!

We loved Tony's Crab Shack. The condo was comfortable and well appointed. The view is to die for, especially at sunset. Because the condo is at the very end of the complex, you are afforded more privacy than other units since your side windows look out onto vegetation and not other buildings. We did hike the trail to the beach and although we loved it, it is not for the faint of heart. If you have mobility issues I would avoid trying it.

This rental is amazing! The unit was comfortable and nicely decorated; well-appointed and stocked with everything needed. The views are breathtaking. Lovely hike down to a quiet & private beach was a nice bonus. Close enough to spend a day at the Redwoods forest with time for an evening stroll at Harris Beach. Perfect location. Also, recommend the Catalyst Restaurant in the harbor for lunch or dinner. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Toby's Crab Shack is a large condo on a bluff overlooking a private beach with incredible views, ocean breezes and access to forest trails from the property. It is very well stocked, modern, clean, and quiet. The property manager (and owner) do a great job of making your stay comfortable. My wife and I stayed for 2 months and did not want to leave - We definitely look forward to staying here again!
From Toby's you can access many beaches, redwoods, quaint towns, river and ocean fishing, and many outdoor activities.
Note: This is a second floor condo and requires about 20 stairs access.

The Perfect Birthday
"Toby's Crab Shack" might suggest low expectations. Not so. This is a splendid accommodation and location. Spectacular ocean views on one side, the Coastal Trail through the Boardman Scenic Corridor right out the back door.
For our purposes, which were quiet, natural surroundings , and a leisurely pace for four days, we couldn't have picked better.
Very responsive management. We plan to return.
