We traveled from Indiana for a weekend AAU basketball tournament and needed a place to stay for our family and Carolina friends. The house was perfect. Location on the water was peaceful and allowed us lake access. We rented a pontoon and explored the lake. Great weekend!

We enjoyed the 270 degree lake views from inside and outside from the expanse deck and patio with with fire pit. We had family in the area and it was a great place to gather during the day and enjoy the amenities. Whether it was using the fire pit to make s’mores, fishing from the dock or eating on the deck we all had a wonderful time.

Everything was clean, peaceful and nice . Property management was clear and communicated well I Will recommend you will love the view

We enjoyed our stay and everyone loved the spectacular views. Our only complaint was not enough glasses or coffee mugs.

We live in NY but have quite a few family members in NC. Rented this location and invited everyone to stop by and visit. Perfect location to relax, visit, fish and enjoy the outdoors. Had everything we needed to prepare meals. You felt like you were miles away from everything yet anything you might need last minute were minutes away. Highly recommend. Evening fires in the fire pit were awesome.

This was a last minute booking and the owner was very accommodating. Great location on the lake . Pictures don’t do this place justice . For our family the downside was road construction during our stay which was noise so if you like to sleep in late that is not happening. Additionally it is located across from a nuclear plant for some that might not be a big deal as many people live around it but we were told not to eat fish from the lake.Air conditioning in the master bedroom doesn’t cool the room down but we were lucky to have good weather. Beds were firm

I cannot believe that a lake house so close to Charlotte can be so relaxing and peaceful. The water view is amazing that it feels like you are in a boat house as you can see the water from the windows in the living area. The deck is my favorite spot as you can feel the breeze and see the water, and the sunset. Parth, the home owner, has been a delight to work with. The house has minimal furniture clutter, which I prefer. The newly built fire pit is awesome. To go to the house, try to avoid the route through North Carolina and if possible, go through South Carolina. The NC route is heavy with traffic all the time. To rent a boat, go to Tega Cay South Carolina. Thank you Parth for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

The house was beautiful and right on the lake. Road construction at the time of our stay. It was extremely hot and the air conditioning could not keep the house cool. The deck was great but wish there were some comfortable chairs. We still enjoyed our stay. Swam in the lake I would recommend this property just not in a heat wave

Where do we start? The homeowner is a five star gentleman. Did everything he could to ensure that our trip was a success. The property? Everything promised and more. We are repeat guests and the owner has invested time and money each year to improve this property. He said " I added a small fire pit area" translation a beautiful lake front patio with lighting, electricity, furniture for eight, and a firepit. Each of the bedrooms were perfectly set. New linens and towels. Just fabulous. We will be back again. I wish every owner we encountered were as great as this one.

The house has a well kept rustic cabin look on the outside. The remodel gives it a modern touch on the inside with a panoramic view of lake Wylie. It is a very spacious open floor plan with plenty of room for large groups. The porch is huge and leads down a very nice dock with a floating platform. Overall it’s an excellent place for a lakeside vacation!

Met up with family…house was everything advertised…very clean, very spacious…there were four of us but could accommodate two more….best part was sitting on deck right on the lake…couple things that were a challenge were not being able to get the tv to work without contacting owner…and there is a 24 hr plant (maybe paper mill although no smell) in the far distance beyond the lake which was a low rumble with smoke stacks….not a real issue but wish it hadn’t been there.

I enjoyed the scenery and the peaceful atmosphere. They house is overall stocked with everything you need for your stay!

We had to come to Carolina last minute due to a death in the family and we were able to rent this home. The home has great space the only thing that we had an issue was there was not 3 king beds only 1 king bed other then that the kids loved the yard and you can't see in the pictures but its so safe for kids the fence has like chicken wire on it so my little 2 year old was super safe and mama didn't have to hold his hand while he watched the boats go by! Thank you for having a safe place for us to stay

The home was clean, well maintained and equipped...absolutely beautiful! We were planning our return within a hour of arrival. Absolutely loved every moment of the weekend here.

The location of the property was great with a perfect view of the lake. Loved the nice big deck with enough seating for two families (we ate outside quite a bit). As for the interior, it was fairly clean and nicely updated but floor was a bit warped and ceilings were low. Kitchen could use some new pots and pans. Overall, it was good for a long weekend stay. We had an absolute blast at this home. Water views from just about every room. House was super clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful get away!

Great property for families or couples traveling together! This is a very spacious property giving everyone in our party time to relax - fishing off the dock, reading on the deck, swimming in the lake, or just watching TV in the living room and admiring the views. I especially appreciated that the bedrooms were separated from the main living area, which was great to accommodate early risers/late nighters. The property was equipped with what we needed for a 3 night stay and the beds were very comfortable. Overall it was great value for what we paid and I would stay again.

Perfect location, surrounded by much fancier houses, so would have been hard to get something else at this price point. Owner was so responsive and polite. Nice dock, walls of windows. Sparsely decorated but comfortable with lots of room, and spacious deck. Easy to get to groceries, restaurants, ice cream, putt-putt, and Carowinds.

There was an oder around the vent by thewasher! Could have used dressers in bed rooms! We had a great week, loved the big deck and view of the lake! We would rent again! Definitely would check out the oder in kitchen🌞. Thanks again!

Ignore any review before the renovation, this is a great choice! This property is gorgeous and was perfect for our lake vacation! We were 20 minutes from Carowinds, we didn't even have to get on the interstate. My 68 year old mom was able to get back and forth to the lake easily, not too many steps, no steep inclines, etc. My mom is also a clean freak, and had no complaints upon arrival. (So rare.)We had a 2 year old with us and loved the fact that there is a gate to the lake/dock for an added safety measure. Everything inside is brand new and I slept well, which means the beds are not too firm. We did Carowinds one day and the drive was only 20 minutes, we didn't even have to get on the interstate. Overall we had an amazing vacation and will definitely rent here again! The massive lakefront view was perfection!

Great views from the deck and kitchen. Ideal dock space if you have a boat. Perfect for evening barbecues, and enjoying the lake.

Had an outstanding weekend and the lake and cannot wait to go back! We had a very scary last minute schedule change when my father in law had a mild heart attack the night before we were scheduled to leave. I reached out to the property owner and they were very accommodating and even extended our check out time to make up for our late arrival. The property owner took the time to reach out to me multiple times checking on my father in law and wishing him a speedy recovery which I found to be a very kind gesture. I can’t say enough good about this property and it’s owner. If you are looking for a quiet lakefront home with a dock and one of the best sunsets you’ve ever seen, this is it!

Great view! Quiet location on the lake, perfect for the kids jumping off the dock. 20-30 mins away from dining, groceries, and boat rental. Nicely updated, Comfortable beds, and equipped with basic necessities. Property management communicated promptly and easy check in. Would definitely stay again.

This home is in a great location, the view and access to the lake couldn't have been better. My family & I would definitely stay again.
