2nd time staying at Ocean Song Charming cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our time in the Turtle Beach area as we did most of the upper part of St. Kitts on previous trips. Views from property are unsurpassed. Used kitchen for breakfast every morning and for some supplemental snacks on some days. Rental car helped alot for venturing to hiking, snorkeling, and dining. We enjoyed the peace and relaxation of this place even more than last visit since we know what we are doing!!

We loved Ocean Song Cottage! The cottage itself is beautiful and well appointed with everything you need. The location is gorgeous--off the beaten track with no crowds or traffic. The bedroom view in the morning and the outside stone decks are absolutely amazing! The private beach is just a few minutes walk down the street and was perfect! Franklin answered every questions we had and helped us book a day trip to Nevis. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanted a quiet, beautiful time away!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We hiked, swam, read and completely relaxed. The cottage had everything we needed and Ricky and Penny were the best hosts. A real treat to stay here.

Fabulous view at this lovely property in a great location on St. Kitts! The outdoor spaces are really beautiful and the indoor space well thought out and very comfortable. Very easy to while away the hours reading on the patio and enjoy the visiting monkeys, but you'll want to go down to Turtle Beach to swim and snorkel on this almost deserted stretch of beach. Would strongly recommend and would come back in the future.

This was our second time staying here. First was 2019, then we booked in 2021 but had to cancel because of Covid. (The owners were amazing about cancelling - they kept us updated on the constantly changing regulations.)
So this trip was long overdue and didn’t disappoint. It’s a perfect set-up for a couple. You have the privacy of staying in your own place but all the amenities of staying in a resort - an exclusive “beach club”, views, private patio.
Loved that there is extra closet space / desk space now - a smart upgrade since so many people work remotely now.
Franklyn, their property manager, is amazing. Welcomed us on arrival.

If you're looking for the perfect tropical getaway with the best views ever, this property is that and more. The photos online are amazing, but can't quite capture the full beauty of the views from here. You have so many different perches on the property to choose from. There is so much to see and do on the island, and Ricky and Franklyn are full of suggestions on what to see and do. Franklyn is amazing to assist with setting up things. When we wanted to take our rental car to Nevis via the car ferry, he suggested riding over on the passenger ferry and taking a tour with a guide. It was the best decision ever. We met the most amazing woman in Hilarena who showed off her beautiful homeland of Nevis, which included a delightful stop for lunch and another pit stop to soak in some hot springs. Back on St. Kitts, Reggaes Beach Bar is five minutes away and a place with good food and great drinks. The Friday night lobster/shrimp/ribs/fish buffet -- with a live band -- was a delight. The beach house you have access to is similarly a treasure. Your own private beach with maybe one or two people around, if that. Delightful views of Nevis and the blue-green waters and great options for snorkeling or shellcombing. There's an honor bar where you can enjoy your favorite adult beverages. You can easily walk from the cottage to the beach house down a short road. And you might even spot a monkey or two along the way. Best vacation ever at the best cottage ever. We highly recommend!

Prior reviews really tell the story of the amazing property and are all accurate. 5 stars all the way! This place has all the amenities you need for amazing vacation. We loved the outside shower and soaker tub… We enjoyed our morning coffee while looking out at Nevis. Breathtaking! You also have access to a private entrance to Turtle beach where they have loungers, bathroom and honor bar which is really unique. Beach chairs and a cooler are provided to explore other beaches. We went to Sand bank bay which was on the Atlantic side and had big waves. It was lovely…we were the only 2 people on the beach.
The property location is close to some of the best restaurants on the island but you will need a car(jeep)..we used Bullseye and they were wonderful
as they will meet you at airport and take you to your car. Franklyn(property manager) was easy to get in touch with via What’s app if needed. He also arranged a private tour of Nevis for us. We had a driver for 4 hours to explore and see the hot spots and enjoyed lunch at Golden Rock with a stop at “Sunshine’s” for a killer B. Can’t miss that!
Our favorite restaurant was Orchid Bay(not even close). It’s expensive but an experience and shouldn’t be missed Go for sunset! We had so much food that we had left overs for 2 nights so net net it wasn’t that bad!
Don’t look any further if you want a romantic getaway! Sit back, relax and enjoy the monkey's!

I had wanted to stay here for 2 years and I finally had an opportunity to stay in St Kitts for a week at the Ocean song cottage! Wow. I loved every minute of it. It's the sweetest little place and exactly as the pictures show. I enjoyed seeing the gorgeous view of Nevis from the bed in the morning and as the day goes by, how the clouds and sun and weather changes, it is simply a stunning site. The stairs were a small challenge with luggage and groceries, but as the week went on, I got used to them! It was good exercise after eating a yummy breakfast at the nearby Park Hyatt hotel. The cottage living space was the perfect size. At first I didn't think I would like the outdoor shower but it was amazing. I would have liked a small teak bench to help with shaving my legs, but I loved the view while showering. Bed was very comfy too.
The best part was having the solitude of the cottage and then the opportunity to use the beach cottage during the day. It was the perfect combination of mountain side view and right on the beach experience. Perfect perfect perfect! Turtle Bay beach is so beautiful and natural. Nothing better than a whole day lying in the sun, swimming in the water and having a nice area to snack and hang out with a few drinks and relax. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower available too. Penny and Rick thought of everything to make their guests happy in this lovely beachfront cottage and it was a fantastic experience. I need to come back soon!!!!

My husband and I just returned for a spectacular week at the Ocean Song Cottage on Turtle Beach. This was our first time to Saint Kitts and it definitely won’t be our last. Franklin, the property manager, was easy going, flexible and kind. He was always readily available via WhatsApp. The cottage itself looks out over breathtaking views. I loved doing my workouts on the private patio, taking a dip in the soaking tub and lounging on the chairs on the days we decided to not head to the beach. The outdoor shower is amazing and the views of Nevis are incredible! We even enjoyed our little monkey friends who typically visited us in the morning hours. It was extremely quiet and private for a couple to enjoy time together. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to bringing our families here in the near future to hopefully the Ocean Song Villa that is next door!

We just returned from a week's visit to St Kitts. The cottage was exactly as described. It is charming, comfortable, and low-key. The views are the best part! The bed was comfortable, and the hosts are great communicators. The monkeys visited us frequently, which was a morning highlight for us.
We didn't meet the onsite property manager until halfway through our stay, so we communicated more with the owners. We had one hiccup, where we ran out of water. Which they resolved in a couple of hours. Other than that, it was a smooth week.
We enjoyed a day sailing with Capitan Coconut AKA Ben and Nikki. Highly recommend that to anyone visiting the island. We hiked, read books, enjoyed the water, and had a special dinner at Bananas.
Thanks for a wonderful trip! We would recommend this cottage to all!

This cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Except, the view are even BETTER than the pictures. I spent hours on the back terrace. I will never like showering indoors again!!
The lounge was nice and right on the beach. Yellow and Sharon were very kind. Neither island is very cluttered with people.

My wife and I were so pleased with our stay on Turtle Beach and specifically, Richard and Penny's cottage!! What a pleasant, romantic, private, exhilarating location and setting! We really enjoyed the recommendations for hiking, beaches and restaurants that they provided! And, the beach house was awesome! And, on our last day, we had a wonderful visit from a family of monkeys (who were eating some of the beautiful flowers)!!

Richard and Penny's stunning little cottage was one of the most romantic spots we have ever stayed. Loved the cottage and the decor was out of a magazine. VIEWS out of this world, magic to wake up every morning and have the view we did. Words cannot explain!

Ocean Song Cottage is a wondrously curated experience. The view from your balcony is even more dramatic and beautiful than the photos convey. There are a half dozen outdoor spaces - all private and rewarding you with outstanding views. This is a place to relax. The white sand beach and turquoise water are a pleasant 5 minute walk down the hill (complete with monkeys along the way). Here you will find another beautifully decorated space directly on the beach with lounge chairs, extra towels, swim fins and a fully stocked bar. The beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. There is even a kiteboarding school right next to the property. Of note, my daughter greatly enjoyed her kiteboarding lessons with Alex. We also enjoyed a wonderful time with Captain Coconut and his wife for an afternoon sail. Try Bananas Restaurant on Nevis for dinner and you will not be disappointed. This property contains many of the amenities of a full service resort, minus the crowds and noise. Penny and Ricky are charming and gracious hosts, and their property manager, Franklyn, kindly escorted us to the water taxi and arranged our transportation in Nevis. As other reviews have noted, there is a steep, terraced climb from the driveway so it may not be suitable for all. We are grateful for this vacation experience and look forward to returning!

This was a perfect place for my wife and me. We are very active in our early 50s. The cottage is exactly as described but so much more fun! Best views. Amazing breezes. Multiple outdoor locations to sit and relax (we had a monkey troop visit!) and watch waves and Nevis! Responsive owners with great advice and tips!
Be sure you can handle stairs as the cottage is built into a hill. We found it was no problem at all. The beach front shared space is also as described. Very nice location that can be walked to with great snorkeling. We also did our kite surfing lesson right there! A short drive or long walk to Cockleshell beach with food, drinks and our favorite restaurant, Spice Mill. Also catch the boat ferry to Nevis there! We rented a car and had no problems driving the entire island from here.

The road to the property could use some maintenance, lots of pot holes and even under water for a day or 2 due to a rainstorm. This road is not part of the property however just an inconvenience to get there. The cottage was cute and cozy. A storm took out the tv and internet for a few days but the property owner worked hard to get it back up and running as soon as possible for me. The steps up to the cottage are a bit steep and those with mobility issues (or a lot of luggage) may want to keep this in mind. The outdoor shower was cute but unfortunately it rained during a majority of my stay and showering outdoors while it was raining wasn’t my favorite.

Beautiful, quiet, remote location. Everything you will need is provided. Although remote it is only a couple minutes drive from serveral beach bars. The private beach lounge area is amazing, a beach all to yourself, and snorkling was wonderful. A place we would definitely return to

Where do I begin? THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!
Before the trip, the hosts were quick to respond with any questions I had about the property, the beach, and diving on the island. They gave me suggestions of dive operations to contact, as well as a HUGE list of places to eat, things to do, where to get groceries, etc. I took my 66 year old Mother and was concerned about the steps leading up to the cottage and the walk to the beach. Ricky and Penny were able to answer all my questions about that before booking. Upon arrival, Ricky met us and helped us carry our bags up the stone staircase which was a huge help. The stairs are not bad and my Mother was able to go up and down them multiple times a day. My Mom is in pretty good health though. The stairs might be a challenge for some. After giving us a tour of the cottage and explaining everything, Ricky was heading into town and asked if we needed anything. We had forgot limes. Not only did he pick us up limes, but he got us some local coconut pastries to try. Awesome!!!
The cottage is amazing. Just look at the photos! This place is a gem. An absolute gem of a place to stay in St. Kitts. Unique and antique decorations adorn the inside and outside of the cottage. There is a complete library of ocean books for you to read! The view is OUTSTANDING!!! The shared beach area will blow your mind. It is so beautiful, it looks like you are walking through a House Hunters property of "places you will never see in your lifetime!". Let me tell you, I've traveled to close to 40 countries all over the world, and this was an absolute unforgettable property. There aren't many places I would stay at multiple times, but this is one of them! I am already trying to take my whole family back and go by myself in a couple of months. Its perfect! The beach, the view, the accommodations! AMAZING! The beach feels like your own private beach even though you share it with other guests. There are beautiful shells rolling up on the beach everyday, and pelicans doing their "dive bomb" hunting in the ocean in the evenings for you to watch. The view of Nevis looks like a postcard! And to quote another reviewer... "Pictures do not do this place Justice."
Ricky was so nice and thoughtful and always available when we had questions. We cannot WAIT to return to this lovely property again. Expectations exceeded in all categories!

The Perfect Peaceful Getaway
The Ocean Song Villa was the perfect peaceful getaway! The views from the cottage were absolutely stunning. The owners sent very detailed and helpful information leading up to the trip and Franklin, the property manager was very helpful my entire stay. There is private beach access that is in walking distance from the cottage. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a gorgeous getaway from your everyday hustle and bustle.

Idyllic and peaceful.
The cottage is absolutely charming. I was much more spacious than I had envisioned, and the multiple outdoor areas gave is a choice of places to enjoy a meal outdoors or quietly read a book. Despite it being next to the larger villa it was very private. I think my favourite thing was to lie in bed in the morning with the doors open enjoying the sunshine and the wonderful view of Nevis whilst being cooled by the trade winds!
The guest house with access to all its amenities and the beach was a wonderful bonus.
Penny and Richard provided us lots and lots of invaluable information about the island suggesting restaurants, bars, beaches, hikes, snorkeling locales, transportation, local markets etc..
During our visit they checked up on us to make sure everything was fine, and responded to all of our queries promptly. In fact all of the people on their team we came across whether they be the manager, handymen, or housekeeper, were delightful.
I wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend this property.

Amazing!
Our experience at this property was nothing short of perfect. The cottage couldn't be any cuter. If you are looking for quiet, calm, and relaxing then this is what you need! It is nice to be far enough away from the city, yet close enough to drive in each day if you desire. We had afternoon visits from monkeys, and even a crab at the front door. The FAQ sheet and added assitance from Ricky and Penny was above and beyond. This trip and stay set the bar very high for our future trips! We loved it all!

Outstanding Stay
Pictures don’t do justice of the unspoiled beauty of the location. Initially, I was apprehensive to travel to St. Kitts alone but I had no need to worry. Penny, Ricky and Franklin took care of everything before I thought to ask. The interior was spacious and welcoming. They thoughtfully arranged food to start me off on my vacation. Franklin showed me where everything was inside and outside. The beach was beautiful and most days had it all to myself. As soon as I got use to going up and down the stairs at the cottage it was time for my to return home. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic hosts fantastic location
We spent one week in the cottage and it was wonderful. Ricky and Penny were so gracious and helpful at every turn. We did not rent a car initially so they even drove us to a restaurant our first night and picked us back up! Having a private beach club on the beautiful turtle beach was amazing. I would for sure recommend renting a car as it’s a bit remote but being remote was a plus. Also bring earplugs if you sleep light as the tree frogs are pretty noisy!

Perfect getaway
The property and experience with Ricky and Penny far exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly communicative and helpful before & during our stay, and it’s clear that they really care about their guests.
Everything about the cottage was absolutely wonderful! It was the perfect escape and we can’t wait to go back!

Amazing hosts and probably the best location on the island
In our opinion, all of the best beaches are on this end of St Kitts, some within walking distance of the cottage. Having visited, I don't know that there is a better place on the island to stay. You are you high enough to have amazing views with cooling breezes and still close enough to be about 5 minute walk down to the beach bar/Beach house included with the property. Great organic farm close by (walkable) with a wonderful juice bar/sandwich spot we would recommend you check out.
We have stayed in a lot of VRBO places and never had better hosts. Extremely responsive before and during the stay. We had to quarantine (Island rules) for 24 hours and the hosts had some food and liquor already in the fridge for us to get by, in addition to helping us pre-order delivery.
10/10, would stay again.

Our sunny sanctuary
We have enjoyed a fabulous three weeks at Ocean Song Cottage. Penny and Ricky were wonderful on this, our first trip since COVID….helping us navigate all of the entry documents, and giving us advice and help at every turn.
The cottage was beautiful! Fully equipped with all your needs and so wonderfully private and quiet! We loved both the outdoor shower and bath, and having coffee in the morning on the patio. The sound of the ocean is always heard!
The cottage itself is full of treasures and quirks from St Kitts and the sea….as well as lots of books featuring the history of the islands. We were so happy to have this little place to come home to after exploring the beach and island!
Any small issues that we had ( the cottage had been closed up for almost two years, after all) were promptly looked after by Ricky and Franklyn.
There is quite a steep climb to the cottage from the driveway, and that may be a consideration for some….for us it was good exercise. The peace and beauty when you get there was well worth it!
We also made good use of the beach house while we there.
Again, completely private and well fitted out with an honour bar and all the beach amenities. There is a beautiful coral reef for snorkeling right in front of the beach house.
We loved St. Kitts! The people are so amazingly friendly and helpful! We felt right at home, and we are going to miss our time here.

Quiet, relaxing, beautiful experience
We had a wonderful time. The view from the property looking over toward Nevis was spectacular! The directions that we were given were accurate which really helps when traveling in a foreign country while driving on the “wrong” side of the the road. :-) The house had everything we needed and Ricky was very helpful in getting us set up when we first got there. The beach club and beach access were wonderful. We felt like we had our own private beach for most of the time. Ricky and Penny’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. We will definitely be back!

Paradise
This property truly is paradise, and Ricky and Penny are the most helpful, welcoming hosts we have encountered. The view of Turtle Beach and Nevis is spectacular and was wonderful to wake up to and look at over a cup of morning coffee, and was equally beautiful in the evening as the sun set. The ocean breeze was perfect and made for extremely comfortable evenings... we never had to use the air conditioning. The grounds are immaculate and are their own caribbean botanical garden, and the decor (both inside and out) was perfectly matched. It was fun to look at all of the unique finds and treasures Ricky and Penny have put in place. This is truly a wonderful place to experience if you want to get away from it all, but be within a short drive from amazing restaurants, bars, and beaches. Not to mention the beach cottage that they share access to.... we spent several days in peaceful solitude, finding sea shells, reading a good book, watching the birds, and swimming and snorkeling. Ricky and Penny made sure we had everything we needed and were wonderful hosts.
