MARCHEZ TOUT DANS LE VILLAGE DE CE CHALET RÉNOVÉ AVEC DES VUES MAGNIFIQUES! Situé au centre du village, ce chalet rénové est ouvert, confortable et parfait pour des vacances à Woodstock ou une escapade d'un week-end. La commodité est le nom du jeu ici. Aucun véhicule n'est nécessaire. Il se trouve à quelques pas de l'arrêt de bus Trailways, de restaurants, de boutiques, de galeries d'art et de randonnées… et à deux pas de la baignade dans le ruisseau Sawkill. Cette location est dotée d'une vue magnifique sur le ruisseau Sawkill et le ruisseau Tannery.
La cuisine entièrement équipée dispose de tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, comptoirs en granit, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grille-pain et cafetière. La salle à manger a des portes françaises qui donnent sur le patio et Sawkill Creek. Le salon est joliment meublé et dispose d'une télévision à écran plat sur le foyer électrique. This is the kind of rental where you have to pinch yourself to believe it's real. The house itself is beautiful and is fully stocked with everything you need. There is a river with a swimming hole in the backyard. While it feels secluded and private, it is a quick walk into the heart of downtown Woodstock. Every time I texted the hosts with a question, I heard back from them within minutes. This place is a treasure!
To top it off, our first night there, a mother deer and her two young children visited us in the yard at dusk. The next morning when we woke up, we saw that the two baby deers had slept on the back lawn. Every day, first in the morning, then at dusk, they would visit us. I kept asking, "Is this real, or am I imagining this??"
I am grateful this place exists, and that Bob and Roberta are such mindful hosts.

We had a wonderful time. The space is perfect for two couples and extra futon for a child if needed. The hosts provided everything we needed and left wonderful homemade cookies. I highly recommend. Easy walk to downtown.

We were so fortunate to find this adorable and convenient place to spend our reunion weekend in Woodstock. Everything there for us including fresh baked cookies! The property is gorgeous and you felt like you were just walking into your own home.Didn't even need to bring any neccessities as there were little baskets in all bathrooms. I would stay here every time I was in the area. Just the best!

This home is a beautiful example of what an ideal stay is meant to be. Our hosts were thoughtful, gracious and welcoming (delicious homemade cookies awaited us on our arrival!); the smallest of details were paid an exquisite amount of attention.
The home is nestled in the nook of a quiet street in Woodstock, a rustling little stream in the backyard was perfect to wake to in the morning, and the location was ideal for walking right into town for dinner and shopping when we weren't relaxing at home and making dinner there. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything one might need to prepare whatever kind of meal.
The accommodations were quite nice, right down to providing travel amenities, a small bag of coffee to brew each morning, brown towels for makeup removal, and a basket of local travel guides situated next to a binder full of useful local information.
We enjoyed our time here very much and remain grateful for the opportunity to escape into the quiet respite of Woodstock for a much-needed weekend away in this quaint, comfortable, and welcoming home.
We sincerely hope to return soon.

We arrived to our fresh-baked delicious cookies, coffee and creamer. The house was quaint, with luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was safe and about a 5 minute walk to town. This place is THE place to stay when visiting Woodstock NY and the surrounding area! Beautiful cottage right on the creek! Luxury in the mountains! The hosts Bob and Roberta take a lot of pride in this place and it shows! They had everything we needed and only had to bring our clothes. If you needed something, it was there just like home. The creek is steps away with a swimming hole all for us to enjoy. You can walk to Tinker Street easily. Thank you Bob and Roberta for what I consider a first class weekend! Trish

Traveling to Woodstock with family to enjoy the town and surrounding nature. This home was perfect. Plenty of space and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Most amazing was the proximity to merging streams behind the house. One block from the Main Street but secluded enough to feel like you were nowhere near civilization.

My husband and two kids (a teen and a tween) had an amazing time at Bob's creekside home. Both bedrooms are huge and ensuite (plus a third half bath) and there's lots of space to spread out. I worked remotely for a few days and had no internet issues. The house looks even better than the photos and you can easily walk to Woodstock's main shopping area tp places like Bread Alone, Yum Yum Noodle and more. We sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the Sawkill Creek. Everything in the house was spotless and we appreciated the owners' thoughtfulness by stocking things like dish and hand soap, paper towels, toiletries and even coffee, cookies and milk. We hope to return for another stay!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting yet easy walking distance to town. We enjoyed shopping in the unique stores, delicious food, and fun hiking. We had a perfect stay! Relaxing and restorative. We loved the fireplace and stepping onto the patio transports you into a realm of calm. The home is so welcoming and they have truly thought of everything you could need.
Walking into town from the cottage with the view of the mountains is such a great perk ….The close proximity to Pearl Moon, Mud Club and Sylvia’s can’t beat. And it’s so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. It was very clean, it is a short walk to town, and was full of thoughtful amenities to make it comfortable and enjoyable. We also appreciated the informative and personable notes that anticipated our questions and needs. I only wish we could stay longer. We will definitely come back.

The online description of the house is accurate but doesn't truly capture the full tranquility of the place. A very short walk from town but it's nestled under the trees and there is a nice swimming hole in the back yard. The house is charming, comfortable, and well provisioned. There are 2 bed rooms each with a queen but I needed a 3rd bed. The owners were quick to accomodate and set up a bed in the loft. My family, including my 19 and 20 yr olds, were very happy. Would definitely rent again!
