Round Lake Family Cottage, near Bonnechere, Foy and Algonquin Provincial Parks
Les réservations de chalet sont du samedi au samedi en juillet et août avec des réservations de 2 jours au printemps et en automne. Cottage est 2 a des chambres avec une salle de bain 3 pièces, 7 couchages. Comprend, sans frais supplémentaires, un canoë de 16 pieds, deux kayaks de mer, un kayak junior, une planche de paddle, des gilets de sauvetage, un hamac, un quai, une ancre d'amarrage pour bateau, 3 vélos, un barbecue et du propane, un feu de camp avec du bois, des chaises, une table de sélection et salle de jeux avec ping-pong et fléchettes, etc.
Une chambre avec un lit double et deuxième dans une grande pièce longue avec deux lits jumeaux et un lit superposé. Le salon a une excellente vue sur le lac avec poêle à bois étanche sur un foyer en pierre, chauffage électrique partout.
La salle de jeux se trouve dans une baie du garage.
Le côté ouest du lac est généralement calme avec des vents d'ouest dominants soufflant au large des côtes, une grande pagaie depuis située dans la baie entre les rivières Bonnechere et Sherwood.
Une chambre avec un lit double et deuxième dans une grande pièce longue avec deux lits jumeaux et un lit superposé. Le salon a une excellente vue sur le lac avec poêle à bois étanche sur un foyer en pierre, chauffage électrique partout.

We had a great time relaxing at Neil's cottage. The property has all main necessary that a family will need to use for a vacation. We enjoyed the amazing Round lake, had fun using all swimming gears provided and played basketball and ping-pong when the weather wasn't good for swimming. We will definitely come back.

Perfect final few days of a trip to Ontario. We loved the game room and the fire pit. The swimming area is perfect. The dock amd screened in porch were also great. Neil was very helpful. The checkin process was effortless. Really a great stay. Thank you, Neil!

This cottage was perfect for our family. The cottage and yard are very tidy with plenty of space and comfortable furnishings. Our boys had a great time swimming in the lake and we all enjoyed the games room in the evening.

After many, many years of renting cottages, I would say that there is nothing more that you could want in a cottage rental. This property ticks all of the boxes - close to the water, fantastic firepit, nice sandy bottom, shallow entry for kids, lots of water toys and games and screened in area. It's also a quick walk into Bonnechere Provincial Park. Such a fantastic week! We'll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Round Lake! The waterfront and lake are beautiful, and the sandy bottom goes out a long way so you can leisurely relax or play a variety of watersports. The screened in porch at the waters edge is a wonderful place to read a book and reflect on those gorgeous morning sun rises over the lake. On any rainy day, the garage games room is great as well (ping pong table, dart board and crocono). Plus there is an extra beer/food fridge in the garage as well. Grocery staples are just a 6 min walk at the local store. Plenty of firewood for the waterfront firepit as well. Great location, and great host.

We spent a week at Silent Pines and everyone really enjoyed it. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and more. The lake was very nice, with soft sand bottom that stays fairly shallow which is great for the kids. No shortage of things to do should you leave the property. Neil is a great host. We're already trying to figure out when we can get back!

The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location is great, with lots to do around the area. The water access is excellent for kids with a nice sandy lake bottom and slow gradual depth increase. Highly recommended.

Had a great time!
Neils cottage was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The property was beautiful and there was many things to do. The water access was perfect for swimming as the beach front was all soft sand. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful canoe ride on the lake. I would definitely recommend and would love to viste again next summer.

Comfortable and relaxing weekend getaway
Neil was very responsive in our communication and since he was out of town the day we arrived, he made sure someone welcomed us and showed us around. He also made sure to meet us briefly before we checked out. The cottage was complete with everything you need for a home, and had lots of things to keep everyone busy. Some things werent on the listing but there was also basketball, darts, corn hole, lots of board games that kept everyone entertained on a rainy day. A general store was just a 3 minute walk, which was very convenient. And the cottage and the location itself was beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful cozy cottage sit right beside the lake🤩🏆
The cottage was amazing. Beyond expectations and the pictures of the cottage don't truly show its beauty. The owner was also amazingly helpful with showing us around the cottage and the surrounding area to help us familiarize ourselves with the community. Would highly recommend waking up early in the morning for the sun rise and staying up for the beautiful star lit sky at night. We had took lots of picture,, when the sunset, sunrise, and starlight came. Everything we needed in terms of activities was provided thanks to Neil the owner of the cottage. 10/10 would highly recommend and come back again. 🏆🏆🏆

Lovely clean cottage packed with amenities, on a beautiful lake.
Neil was there to greet us and talk us through the place. Appointed with good quality fixtures, fittings and pleasant decor. The kitchen was well enough equipped to make meals like at home (I even made fresh pasta and bread). There was plenty of firewood for the campfire pit and the lovely big wood stove in the living room, which kept us toasty on the cool October evenings.
The property is right on the water, with a beautiful sandy beach, which you can view right from the cottage living room, or screened-in porch.
I would definitely recommend the place and would love to stay again.

A memorable stay!
The activities that were readily available on site were fantastic! The area has so much to offer from, warm fresh butter tarts to hiking, biking and more. Neil and Deb were great to communicate with!

Great family trip
Stunning lake view and perfect morning breakfasts in covered sun room. Rustic cottage experience and kids had a blast swimming and playing in the sand. Made great use of the boats and camp fire and had a great stay! Thank you to our hosts!

Great family location
It was important to one of our children to see the bottom of the lake and it be weed-free And the water was totally clear and sandy bottom without any track of weeds. Kayaks and paddleboard were a big hit all week. We explored up the river, to the south of the cottage and the provincial Park river, to the north. Neil was a great host and walked us through the property. The family room space was very comfortable and a good size. The screened in porch was a favorite place for one of our kids to read. All the firewood was provided for a campfire in the evenings. Kitchen prep space is a bit tight but it worked fine for the week. The only real negative was the mattresses. Not the most comfortable. They need a mattress topper. But everything else was exactly as advertised and we had a really great week that ended way to fast!

Perfect vacation!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our multi-generational vacation at Silent Pines to kick of the summer! Neil was welcoming and close-by, if needed. The cottage was clean and well-equipped.
Regardless of the weather there were plenty of activities available for all ages to enjoy (bikes, kayaks, paddleboard, swim toys, canoe, crokinole, darts, ping pong, board games, puzzles, and LEGO). We had prepared for a week with a rainy forecast and brought indoor games from home, but really didn't need to. Reading in the screened-in porch or sitting by the fire pit at night was relaxing.
It was a perfect vacation for our entire group and we look forward to returning!

Wonderful Location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silent Pines! Beautiful views over the sandy bottom lake and gorgeous pines. The kids loved swimming in the lake and paddling the canoe and the clean and tidy cabin has all the necessities for a relaxing week at the lake. Just bring your swimsuit and favourite beverage! Will definitely be back.

A beautiful stay at Round Lake!
We have had an amazing time at Neil’s place - peaceful, restful and cozy! The cottage has everything you need and is very clean and well kept. Of course, we spent most of our time outdoors by the lake, around the fire pit and hiking. It was fantastic to have access to canoes, kayaks and bikes! Neil and Debbie are great hosts, super responsive and kind. We would love to come back!

Quiet Fall Escape
Great property. Retro charm with all mod cons. Very cosy. Appreciated use of kayaks and bikes. Neil was very helpful and welcoming - and equally not intrusive. Very calm and quiet despite a few neighbouring properties. Everything was in good state and easy.. Local shop and gas station very useful

Beautiful Round lake
Our stay at Neil's cabin in Killaloe was an excellent home away from home for our family. The photos understate the cottage and scenery, it really is a delightful escape destination. Neil was always there to help and easy to get a hold of with any questions,, going above and beyond to help even when I had car trouble. I will recommend his Cabin to family and friends and hope to visit again. Thanks Neil!

Fall get away

Beautiful spot
The cottage is lovely, big enough but still a cozy feel. The games room, giant Jenga, bikes and all the water toys were awesome to have right there anytime we wanted to have some fun. Lovely beach with awesome sunrises.

Fantastic all around
Can’t say enough about our stay here. The cottage was amazing. The lake is beautiful, sand shore for quite a ways out. Lots of water toys to use as well! Neil came over to make sure we had everything we need or had any questions.
It’s great the owners are so accessible in case of issues.

Great spot!
My partner and I had a great few relaxing days at this cottage. Neil is a fantastic host and very responsive! It's located on a very peaceful lake and we loved the fact that the property came with so many boats. The place comes with everything that you need and does have a real cottage feel. Something to take note of if you have any work to do is that the listing lists wi-fi, but unfortunately the wifi was not working during the entirety of our stay. The host did mention that this was something that they were working on so if this is a requirement for you I would just reach out and inquire before your stay.

Beautiful Lake
Very nice location with a lake you can walk right into.Lake has sand bottom and very clear and shallow for the first 100 yards. Cottage has everything you need and lots of space.It is located in tall pine trees so internet and satallite tv are in and out,but we seldom tried to use them.
