We were in the area doing some genealogy research as well as visiting family in the area. The location was perfect, as was the house itself. Linda had a shoofly pie waiting for us when we arrived - what a lovely way to be welcomed. Would book again without a second’s hesitation.

My sisters and I spend the last weekend of September together, trying different houses each year, and this house in Gordonville was one of the best ones yet. It was VERY clean, very accommodating,and welcoming. Linda is fantastic, she got back to me right away with any questions or concerns we had. We probably will be visiting again.

We had 4 adults and 2 children. The house was very roomy, clean and on a beautiful street. It’s a main street, but we loved watching the horse and buggies coming down the street and seeing the Amish children going to school. My granddaughters really enjoyed it. There was a large yard for the kids to run around. We highly recommend this home.

This weekend was the second time we have stayed in this home. We love it! The location is perfect for everything we do in the area (Dutch Wonderland, shop, eat delicious food... haha). The home was clean and had everything we needed. With our two families staying together, we had plenty of room for us to space out when the kids needed a break. Ms. Linda is a sweetheart and made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely stay at this home again.

This property was great. The house was clean and well stocked. The location could not have been better. We really enjoyed the front porch as well as the yard. We were able to go and see everything we wanted to. The best part of our stay was meeting Linda and Jonas. The Shoofly pie was delicious and the soft pretzels were the best thing ever. Thank you so much for having us over. It was definitely the highlight of our stay. I simply love my amish broom we bought. The best broom I have ever used. This property is wonderful! Check in was effortless. The house is very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms are spacious, and the living area is very comfortable. Perfect location, nearby several attractions and things to do and see. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. Linda was wonderful to. She introduced herself right from the beginning told us she was two doors down, if we needed anything. The location was perfect you could sit in family room and watch horse and Buggies go by. It was so good to be back after after not coming back up since my Dad died 3 years ago. He loved coming to Lancaster all the good food and the Markets.

We were only there in the evening it was nice and quiet the owners were very nice and helpful and we came back one evening and had a pie waiting for us. Would have love to have set outside in the evening but it was cold and raining that happens some time. Would stay again.

Lovely home and wonderful hosts! Great location and very peaceful. We love staying in Lancaster and this was our first time staying in this house and it is my new favorite place to stay. The house is spacious and we enjoyed the Amish treat left for us. We also enjoyed having a chance to spend time with Linda and Jonas. Every minute of this trip was a blessing and we can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely LOVED staying here!! My family and I were surrounded by Linda and her family! We loved getting to know them! Our kids enjoyed playing with Linda’s nephews. The house was beautiful and immaculate! We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the buggies go by! The location was perfect, close to everything!!! Heart of Lancaster County
We were in town for a family reunion and wanted a place that would accommodate my immediate family. Linda’s house was perfect! I was so happy to show my children around my hometown and have a lovely, scenic place to stay. The shoofly pie was such a nice treat. Highly recommend this property.

When It Rains
It rained really hard for two days. It was nice to have a warm and relaxing house to just kick back in. We met the property owners and they are very nice people. We enjoyed talking to them. If you’re wondering about “David” at Sight and Sound, it’s a must see.

Amazing place to stay near Kitchen Kettle Village & Surroundings
We planned a girl's weekend and selected this home to stay in. My friends and I couldn't have been more pleased! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! Our hostess allowed us an early check in if needed. The code was programmed into the door and was easy to use so we could access whenever we arrived. Linda even had a yummy shoo fly pie waiting on the counter. The home was very warm and inviting. Beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with basically anything you might need or forgot. I can't say enough about this home. The location was close to Kitchen Kettle Village (and by close...maybe a 2 minute drive!!!) so if you are familiar with that area, this home is very convenient. We had the pleasure of meeting our hostess, Linda and she was quite simply...LOVELY! I'm so glad we were able to meet her face to face since we were messaging up until that point. I can guarantee we will be staying here again and telling all our friends. This is definitely a rare find!

We had a wonderful stay , house was clean and cozy was great for my friends boys who loved the basement area to play and hangout , this house is and in a great central location to all of our favorite Lancaster stops. The owners were kind and checked on us during our stay we hope to rent again in the future :)

The absolute BEST place to stay
The house is in great condition and feels very comfortable. The kitchen has all the tools you need to prepare meals at home but it’s very close to restaurants if you like to take a vacation from cooking. The proximity to grocery stores, farm stands, entrainment, shopping, etc is excellent. There is a wonderful front porch for drinking coffee and watching the buggies pass. We felt at home and Linda is an excellent host! She was quick to respond, very organized and made us feel like old friends, in addition to valued customers.

This is a lovely home with the most welcoming host. There was plenty of room for everyone to come together and yet still have thier own space and privacy. The home is very clean and the neighborhood was peaceful and centrally located to all the area attractions. Highly recommend this property to couples and families alike.

The hostess Linda met us shorty after arriving and was very nice. Answered all my questions and was very welcoming. The house was perfect, neat, clean, and had all the items we needed for a great stay. The house has several bedrooms and are all very cozy. Beautiful home & location
The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The location was perfect! We enjoyed watching the buggies from the front living room and watching the Amish children going to and from school that was located behind the home. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed the homemade shoo fly pie as well as a visit from the homeowner. We traveled with a toddler who enjoyed the toys and story books in the house as well as being only a short walking distance to the park! Thank you for sharing your home. We can’t wait to come back!
