Private Waterfront Home on Laguna de Apoyo with Infinity Pool
Situé dans la réserve naturelle nationale de Laguna de Apoyo. Cette magnifique maison au bord du lac est située à seulement 200 mètres du Norome Resort / Villas @ Apoyo (sur une route pavée) et est construite selon les normes américaines. Détendez-vous dans la piscine à débordement tout en profitant de la vue sur le volcan dormant Mambacho ou nagez dans le lac où vous trouverez des thermes chauds à proximité. Si vous préférez plus d'activité, des locations de Hobie Cats and Kayaks sont disponibles dans la station voisine. En option, nous pouvons organiser des massages sur place dans le cadre paisible d'un patio privé extérieur, avec des vagues au bord du lac en arrière-plan. Des cours particuliers d'espagnol sur place peuvent être organisés par un instructeur professionnel local et un ami de la famille. Our party consisted of nine people, including four adults and five children. We stayed for two weeks and had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and respect.
We mostly spend our time at the pool and at night in the kitchen cooking.

The house does need some updates, but nothing that would keep you from having a great time.
The housekeeper was absolutely amazing. She was a big part of our enjoyment of our stay.
Everything was clean daily. At night, security would make his rounds, which, of course, made us feel safe. The current staff that is in place was the key to a great experience. We had several requests, and every single one was met. We made memories that will last us a lifetime. We will definitely be staying here again. Our only mistake was not staying longer!

In the last years, we have rented accommodations in Rivas, Ometepe, SAN Juan del Sur and Montelimar however, none of them come even close to this property, the owners attention to details and the people that take care of the property and the guest.
The cleanest property by far. We also had the good fortune of having Rita cook our meals( extra). Not only was the food delicious but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy our time at “ Casa del Sol” without worrying about the preparation of our meals.
Lastly, we all enjoyed our stay so much that we recommend this place 100%

While the view was stunning and the onsite staff were courteous and helpful, that was the extent of our positive experience at this property. There is a small house on the property next to the pool that is under construction. There was a large crew of workers with construction going on all day long. We were uncomfortable to use the pool and our young children couldn't nap with all the noise. When we asked the owner about it, she acted like it was the house next door when it is clearly on the same property and only steps away from the pool. The main house was infested with termites and ants, the owner also acted like this was to be expected "because it's Nicaragua and in a reserve". We stay in Nicaragua often, and no, it is not expected that you pay to stay in a house where you are sleeping with termites in your bed because you are in a reserve in Nicaragua. This is completely unacceptable for a house we paid for and cannot use the beds. The property owner offered to come fumigate the house with my 3 infants sleeping inside. After a night with termites in the beds, we decided to pack up and leave. Upon trying to leave, because it was before our planned check out date, we were held hostage. The security guard refused to let us leave and held my whole family on the steep inclined driveway saying we couldn't go until the property manager came to look around and make sure we didnt steal anything. I never felt so insulted, unsafe, and unclean in a place where I paid to be a guest

Beautiful w/beautiful view! Not kid or older people friendly, inside &outside stairs mainly. Pool is NOT for children/some adults. The many stairs to the public lake are rocky as the entry into the lake! No beach! Constant workers around the house. The casa directly in view of master bedroom has workers. Guard shack is in view of the master bathroom. We all felt exposed! Kept curtains upstairs closed which defeated, the view! As stated in a 2023 review, the staff definitely watches you! Its not feeling of privacy but monitoring! Also, a dog that poops in the yard.
The owner: very responsive. Gave great suggestions. BUT when character/ethics was to be shown, she was HORRIBLE! My 7y/o wet the bed. Tamera emailed she wouldn't charge me. She understood it was an accident. There were other things (glass, vase, etc) we did break. throughout the 8 days she email me let me know what we broke & the price! No problem! The white couch ($54 charge) I disagreed! Morning of departure, I Zelled her $204 for the agreed damage! She put a dispute into VRBO for over $100 Double the cost of the couch! She wanted the cleaning of the mattress and other damaged items. I showed VRBO AND MY BANK the emails of her saying she would not charge for the mattress AND the 2 different stories she told me(all email) how the damage to the couch was done! Her $100+ was declined! I have a good reputation with VRBO & hosts! Many stays & NEVER this experience! Honesty is not her best policy!!!!!

The place was incredible beautiful! The space to host for my family to come and visit was just perfect !
One thing / advise: when you check in, please count every single cup, utensils, and plates, because if there is one missing @ checkout, they will charge you for it.
They charge you $10 for the additional people coming to stay with you during the day, not sure if that’s a thing or what, but I paid extra.
You need a 4X4 vehicle, so please no matter where you rent, make sure you have your right vehicle!
Other than that, the house is very beautiful! And we all loved it !

We spent the weekend at Tamara's place with a big group consisting of 3 families. There was something for everyone and so many places to hang out and relax. The pictures don't do it justice. Tamara was a very attentive host, and she also had a property manager who was available when we needed. We are looking forward to coming back again. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was a wonderful vacation with all the R&R you will ever need. The people take pride in caring for the house just as they should since it was amazing and a lot of work went into making it so. It has everything you will need. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Let's not forget the Lagoon and the closeness to it was breathtaking. Having it all at our fingertips, including a swimming pool with children's floaties was an added touch. I highly recommend it.

Thank you to Tamara and all the staff for another restful visit at Casa de Sol. Take a look at the photos, that's exactly what you'll see. We were four adults, ages mid 40's to 60's. So many places to be alone or together. Very quiet and peaceful. The house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I don't know when, but we'll be back!

Exceeded our expectations in everything. Beautiful surroundings. The staff was helpful and friendly. Wonderful pool area. We had a lovely kitchen that was very equipped for cooking, but we were also helped when we wanted to order in food. We hope very much to return again.

I've lived in Nicaragua for several years and was lucky enough to get invited to stay here. My family and i we're amazed that the description of the property matched its profile. The house is lovely and spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and have AC, the dining room and kitchen include everything you need to cook. The side patio includes comfortable a sofa, chairs, table, and hammocks. The house overlooks laguna de apoyo, has a great pool area, and hotsprings!! Book this house!

The house and property are kept immaculately clean. Staff are kind and go out of their way to accommodate your needs and requests. The steps down and up from the house and driveway could be an issue for anyone with mobility challenges. For our group of four adults we found the driveway to be an easier walk. And we found it worth every step! Thank you for allowing us to be your guests!

We have stayed at Casa Sol before and think it’s amazing! Pool and lake view is gorgeous and outdoor space so relaxing. Home is spacious and comfortable and more than enough room for our family and friends. Quiet and peaceful but not too far from restaurants and activities. Cannot wait to go back and spend more time!!

This home had everything you can think of views, comfort, style and so much beautiful nature. Staff was there to greet us and where all very nice and kind through out our stay. Beds were super comfortable, pool was amazing and deck / backyard area was so great. Highly recommend this beuatifully situated and maintained home.

Our family of 5 and my brother-in-law’s family of 5 stayed here and had a great time. Children ranged in age from 2 to 15. Mostly, we lived in and by the pool and also enjoyed the lake, swimming as well as using the kayaks. The beds were comfortable. It was hot and the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night was a nice relief. The housekeeper and cook were both very friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

This home is magnificent! It is absolutely Beautiful and extremely well kept. But.... I wasn't told I'd be sharing it with other people. In the evening when the sun went down other people would show up and hang out below the pool. The security guard said it was okay. Then after we turned the pool lights off and went inside for the night, somebody turned those lights back on. We could hear people hanging out around the house through the night. Then at 2:00 in the morning, my children woke me up because they were scared. I went downstairs from our bedrooms to investigate and found a bunch of people sleeping on the ground right outside the entrance doorway. Now I know this is something that can be fixed once the owners find out. This is something that the security guards are letting take place for whatever reason. But, this is a scary situation for tourists from another country who don't speak spanish. This definitely ruined our stay at this spectacular home. ALSO...we had to leave the house unlocked the first night when we went out to dinner. We weren't given a key till the second day.

Once again we were blown away by the beauty and perfection of Casa Sol. Nothing is overlooked at this placed. Every time we come, we enjoy every moment. It is truly one of my favorite places to be on the entire world.

The house is very comfortable for a family of 5 brothers with their partners, like mine, the rooms are large, have comfortable beds and very good air conditioning in them. He sleeps very pleasantly. The pool and the area around it is excellent. The natural landscape is enjoyed everywhere. The only thing I suggest is to put air conditioning on the first floor, since the fans are not enough for the heat of Nicaragua and it is the place where the family gathers to enjoy music, karaoke, dance or other activity together and we were always sweating and very hot there.

My family stayed here while in Nicaragua. The pictures do not do it justice. The property is beautiful and the house has several amenities for a family traveling with children. The staff on property was also very welcoming, accommodating, and eager to help. I cannot day enough wonderful things about our stay. I would recommend this property 1000 percent.

The place is just about the nicest place I've ever rented in Nicaragua and I've rented a lot. Pool area fantastic. Cabana great. Swim in lake or pool. House well decorated. We had a great time. Protesters made rthe trip to airport an adventure as they closed most of the main roads hopefully this portest will end soon.

Really nice place. The infinity pool overlooking the Laguna is pretty neat and refreshing. Went for morning runs along the Laguna perimeter road which were hilly and challenging. Overall great stay.

My husband and I stayed at Casa De Sol with a bunch of his Nicaraguan relatives. This was truly the most beautiful house I have ever visited in Nicaragua. The master bath was exquisite, the fully-equipped kitchen was fantastic and the views were amazing. The kids that were with us had a wonderful time splashing around in the infinity pool and the men spent hours upon end relaxing in the strategically hung hammocks. We created some family memories during our stay that I will cherish forever. The home was in the perfect spot as well, secluded and less than an hour away from Granada and Masaya, two of the most popular tourist locations in the country. The groundskeeper/concierge Alberto was fabulous. He was very friendly and tended to our every need. Thanks to the homeowners for the perfect vacation and for making the rental registration process so easy. I can't wait to go back with my parents one day!

During the month of April my wife and I traveled Central America and spent a week of our trip at Casa de Sol in Laguna de Appoyo. It was definately the highlight of our trip! We found the location to be perfect, only about 45 minutes from the Managua airport and about 15 minutes to Granada. When not enjoying some of the many daytrips that are available ( Granada, Masaya, Rivas, San Juan Del Sur or hiking around the Laguna and up to Catarina), we found ourselves spending hours in the pool just relaxing and doing nothing. At night we enjoyed BBQs which consisted of fresh food from the local markets and the local favorite drink, Flor de Cana Rum! Whether you are traveling with one person or a large group of people, the home can accomodate. It is very spacious and has an excellent staff on hand to accomodate your every need. The on-site property manager, Alberto, is fantastic and we included him in many of our evening dinners and enjoyed listening to his many stories. This home has so much to offer and we definately are looking forward to going back soon.

I WAS AMAZED FROM THE MOMENT I ARRIVED...MY ENTIRE FAMILY ENJOYED THE HOME AND ALL THE AMMENITIES. WE WERE A GROUP OF NINE AND THE HOUSE WAS SPACIOUS WITH ROOM TO SPARE. I HAVE FAMILY THAT LIVES NEAR BY THE LAGOON WHICH MADE IT QUAINT FOR FAMILY BBQ'S AND LATE NIGHTS AROUND THE POOL. PLEASE ENJOY THE SUNSETS AND U MUST SEE THE MOONRISE....ITS AN AMAZING SIGHT....TAKE PLENTY OF PICS AND VIDEO CAUSE U WILL NOT BELIEVE IT. THANKS AGAIN TO THE OWNERS AND STAFF ON HAND THEY TRULEY MADE THE HOUSE FEEL LIKE A HOME !!!! HEY ALBERTO !!! K PASA PALESTINO !!!!
