This home was exactly what we needed for our stay in Oak Harbor. Plenty of comfy seating in the living room and expandable seating at the dining table for 4 adults. It was a very well-equipped kitchen. Geri turned on the electric blanket on the bed before our arrival. We will stay here again the next time we're in town.

Property was great for us. We were there visiting our son who's in the navy. Its Always nice to come back to a place in the evening after being out all day and be able to find a place to have some alone time. Unlike hotel rooms. I would definitely stay here again or see if Geri had another place available.

Cute, clean, comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Using the hot water in the shower takes a little figuring out. Host was extremely responsive. I would suggest a "House Rules" informational sheet detailing the garbage/recycle pick up, the "shoe free" status, the Wi-Fi information, etc. rather than having post it notes around the place. Maybe include info on local diners, suggestions on things to do, emergency information. We weren't aware of the drive in but came across it by chance. It was a hoot going to a drive in again. We almost missed putting out the garbage. Appreciate that check out didn't require a long list of cleaning tasks, as some places require. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the best stocked VRBO properties we’ve stayed. Geri was there to greet us and the house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It’s comfortable and roomy and a great getaway for a few days!

What a wonderful stay. Geri was an incredible host and the house was equipped with anything and everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect, so close to the water. Geri was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in a little early, due to a scheduling conflict. We will be back for another stay!!

The cottage was perfect! At the end of a busy day it felt like home. All the amenities were included and then some. Comfortable beds and high quality furnishings. The location offered beautiful sunsets and it was a short walk to the water. It’s very convenient to NAS Whitbey and off base housing. Our host was awesome in every way. We plan on staying at the cottage during all our visits.

The cottage was perfect! It was exceptionally clean, well stocked with every conceivable item one might need and the location was centrally located to town, navy base and military housing.

Our host was very gracious. When we had one little problem & she bent over backwards to get it fixed. House was very neat & clean. There was plenty of sheets & towels. Everything you could want for cooking. I would highly recommend this house. Very close to Navy base housing. Convenient if visiting loved ones like we did. We would stay there again!

We were in Oak Harbor to visit family that lives in base housing. The location was excellent, just a few blocks away. Oak Cottage is very comfortable and was perfect for our needs. This was our second stay at Oak Cottage.

Geri was the best! Even though I arrived late she was there to provide a warm greeting and left lights on just like Tom Bodette. :) Even offered my friends to stay the night. She was available for questions, etc. Cupboards stocked with lots of tea, seasonings, etc. Shore walk and Marina just down the road. Thank you Geri!

Geri’s place in Oak Harbor is exactly as described in the listing and probably even more. Very clean home, easy to access and incredibly well-stocked. Everything you could possibly need was available in the house. It served as a good home base for a weekend on Whidbey Island - quick drive to Deception Pass, and about 45-50 min from the Clinton-Mukilteo ferry. Thank you Geri for the fantastic stay!

My husband and I stayed at the Oak Harbor Cottage to visit family on the island. We both needed to spend time working remotely from the cottage and inquired if a desk was in the cottage. To our pleasant surprise, the host, Gerry, brought a desk in specifically to accommodate us! The cottage was very well appointed and perfectly comfortable for the two of us. Gerry has thought of everything to ensure the cottage feels like home. We look forward to staying there again.

The cottage is lovely and Geri is an exceptional host. The house and property were as described in the listing, comfortable, clean, and cozy. The location was great as we were visiting our Navy family and the proximity to base house was terrific. Geri is a wonderful host; we flew into Seattle during a rare snow storm, had delays and hazardous road conditions, Geri checked in on us to make sure we were safe and made sure we were well supplied when we arrived after a long day of travels when everything on I5 had closed due to the storm. Very clean and spacious. Decorated nicely. Fantastic beds. Everything you would ever need is there for you. We enjoyed it and got lots of beautiful rocks.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Oak Harbor house and found it just as described: Comfortable, convenient and cozy. We ate in, so the well-stocked kitchen was appreciated, as was the comfy bed, laundry and living room. Geri was great at promptly answering questions and the house had maps and guides for the area. We hiked near Deception Pass and even walked to a play at the neighborhood playhouse. Many thanks.

Geri was wonderful! We had suffered a power outage the night before we got there. Geri made sure lights and heat were on to welcome us and even turned on the heated blankets so we had a nice warm bed to crawl into and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Can't wait to go back!

We very much appreciated Geri’s hospitality and the communication she provided us in advance of arriving at the cottage. It was perfect for our visit with our sailor that is stationed there on the island. Highly recommend those looking for a cozy cottage on the island, this should be one you consider for sure.

The cottage was really comfy for a two day stay. The kitchen is well supplied, including a good selection of coffee and tea, and the host provides half and half, which is really nice for that first morning.

We can't rave enough over what a nice time we had at Geri's place. The house is sparkling clean, comfortable, with ample parking, in a quiet neighborhood, located short 12 minute walk to the main strip of Oak Harbor. Geri is wonderful; she was prompt with all correspondence and for sure went well above what we'd expect from anyone hosting. We'd absolutely stay here again when returning to Oak Harbor!

Property was very very clean. Had everything in the cottage you would need. We stayed 6 nights and loved it! The owner was wonderful and very helpful! Hopefully, we will be back soon. 😀
