We had four teenagers with us traveling for sports tournament so the games were a hit. Pool and spa were also nice. Couches were very comfortable. Good. Neighborhood.

Great house for a family reunion, fun and comfortable.

Had a good time at Lisa's house, she was very responsive to any needs or concerns we had. Beds were comfy and most importantly the AC worked well in the 105 degree weather!

We stayed 4 nights here & it went by entirely too fast. Hopefully we can make time to come back. I think this is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. My 12 year old twins absolutely loved it & were so sad to leave. They have a nice clean pool & hot tub, along with many games… pool table, shuffleboard, darts, ping pong, foosball & many board games. Perfect for quality family time! Lisa is also super friendly & informative. This was our 1st experience with something like this & she made it super easy! Can’t wait to plan another trip back.

Hello, we enjoyed our family vacation at Lisa’s rental. The open floor plan is great for entertaining. The garage and loft game rooms were wonderful. We frequently used the nearby park. The pool and hot tub were clean. The beds were also very comfortable. Lisa was great about fixing any problems that we encountered.

This house was a great place for my family to celebrate my son’s graduation. It had lots of games to play with in the garage. Enjoyed play pool and swimming in a the heated pool. I would recommend this house to anyone who would like to relax and spend time with their family.

Nice home with plenty of space and fun things to do. The pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, and shuffle board table kept us all entertained and busy. Accommodations were comfortable. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and concerns, usually within minutes. It was a great heat away for all of us!

This is a great place to unwind and visit with family and friends. Lisa was very accommodating and communicative making the check-in/check-out process easy! My family had a great time with the pool and all the fun activties there at the house. With limited places to visit this summer we decided to choose a home to stay in that the whole family could enjoy. This definitely met our expectations and immediately felt like a second home. Great place to stay and relax. The heated pool and hot tub were great to have to relax, grill, and have some beverages when we weren't exploring Austin. The activities (pool table, shuffleboard, darts, ping pong, foosball, arcade) were fantastic to have to keep the kids, and adults, occupied and having fun.

Every year, my wife and I try to do a couple's retreat where we get away from normal life to reflect on the past year and plan for the upcoming year. This year, we settled on this place and it was perfect for what we needed. The big lush living room couches made for comfy lounging and talking, and the neighborhood offers relaxing walks and a nearby park. We'd definitely come here again.

The property is spacious and beautiful with a huge backyard, pool, and hot tub! The house was very clean and well kept and truly felt like a home away from home for the night! The host was helpful and answered all of our questions in a prompt and kind manor. Definitely interested in returning again soon!

Our family loved staying at this guesthouse. We had no issues with any neighbors, and everything was well-stocked — beds are comfy, and everything was easy to find and understand. Owners are very nice and communicate quickly; all in all it was a delightful stay. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great night's stay at his property. The house is nice and open with all you need for relaxing and having fun. Even though it was literally freezing outside, the hot tub was perfect for an evening soak under the stars. We look forward to another excuse to retreat in Austin at this property!

The house is nice, but they dont mention there is a sherrif as a neighbor. This neighboorhood is EXTREMELY uptight, there is a camera that faces the pool so it was a very uncomfortable feeling, and if you own a loud vehicle, do not stay here because you will get complained on. In all, i wouldnt recommend if you plan on having a friend gathering or your music on even to its minimum without getting a complaint. I do recommend it if you are as loud as a cricket.

This house was perfect for our needs, super clean and beautifully furnished, with lots of fun things to do, and a relaxing environment in the home in between jaunts into the city. The Van Allens have thought of everything and were extraordinarily helpful and available, and great to work with. I highly recommend this property. There aren't many like it in the Austin area. We didn't really know what to expect when we drove up to the house but once we stepped inside, it completely blew the photos away! The house is great. Lisa had everything prepared for us, including the music system. Plenty of towels, sheets, etc.There were 8 of us girls and we never had a problem with space. Tons of games and activities in and out of the house. If you do not have a car, the house is within walking distance to liquor and convenient stores. The ride to downtown was a bit longer than expected but not horrible. Depending on the time of day/night and how many people you have, expect to pay anywhere between $25-$85 for a Lyft back to the house from downtown. I would absolutely recommend staying in the house!

This was a perfect place for our family holiday trip. The kids loved the pool and nearby park. We loved the pool table and being able to cook and play games together in the large open area for kitchen/dining/living. I was surprised at how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The decor is surprisingly modern with an Austin theme. No cheesy/ugly hotel decor--they furnished and decorated the place thoughtfully with high quality stuff. It's a quiet suburban neighborhood, but easy to get on the highway and head downtown. I'd love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The kitchen was well equipped and I loved the open floor plan. We enjoyed some special family meals around the large dining room table. The pool table, shuffle board table, arcade game machine, foosball table, hot tub, and pool made it feel especially luxurious and resort-like. There is also a nice park nearby and some great restaurants. The hosts were helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at this property, though it was for a short time. The kitchen is huge and well appointed and the living area is also huge with great seating for many. But as inportant, the owners are great! We stayed at a different property they own for about 7 months during our move transition. They were always responIve to issues, very flexible with us and truly kind. Their property on Metric is also quite comfortable and backs to a great trail! We recommend staying with the Van Allens!

This house was absolutely perfect for a bachelorette girls weekend! The house was even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. I loved the open layout of the downstairs. I hadn't realized that all 3 of the bedrooms were downstairs, which was a nice surprise, as we were all able to be near each other. The upstairs loft served as pretty much a bonus room. It's pretty private, since it's the only thing upstairs, so it could easily be used as another bedroom. The pool was amazing - perfect balance of shade and sunshine! As far as the location, it was actually much closer to everything that I expected. It was probably a 20ish minute drive downtown, which wasn't bad at all. And the neighborhood where the house is located is absolutely beautiful! There's also a lot nearby, as far as grocery stores and restaurants. We ate a great sushi place called Ka-Prow that's about 5 minutes from the house - delicious and nice atmosphere! Overall, I could not have wished for a better house for our girls weekend, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a private, beautiful house to stay in for an Austin trip!

My two young sons and I stayed there while we our house was being put on the market. There is a loft above the living area that has a pool table and that was a huge hit with my boys. It was too cold for the swimming pool (last week of January) but I loved how the pool is accessible to the living area and the master bedroom. It's kind of a focal point of the house from the inside. Even though we weren't staying there while on vacation, the house itself brought lots of fun to the time and ended up being really memorable.

Went to Austin for a golf trip with some buddies and this place had the perfect set up. Spacious and unique layout, great back yard and not too far from downtown. I would recommend it to anyone!

Our whole family enjoyed our 3 week stay at this house. It was very spacious and had beds for lots of people. It was a nice quiet neighborhood location. Close to a park and walking trails. Was very clean and fancy. Nice heated pool and hot tub. Good place for our family stay for the holidays.

I highly recommend this property. It is well cared for and the owners are great to work with. It is very spacious so great for large parties but is also in a quiet neighborhood so great for a quiet retreat. It is nicely furnished with a lot of fun touches. It is in a great location with easy access to either I35 or Mopac. We enjoyed walking on the bike path and attending the Lantern festival at the park as well as eating out at local restaurants.

Could not have stayed in a better house for a girls weekend! Eclectic and totally Austin styled , very up to date . loved the openness of the kitchen and living area. We had 9 girls and there was plenty room for more. The hot tub was wonderful, we did not use the pool but the outdoor furniture made for a great cocktail hour. the beds were very comfortable. owners were easily accessed if needed and left detailed instructions. we had one question about checkout ; we sent a text to the number provided and received a prompt response. the only downside (which is not the house's fault) is the ride to downtown austin with traffic which seemed to always be bad is at least 25 minutes in an Uber , so if you are looking for a quick trip this is not the place but uber was always available within 10 minutes and we even took the metro one day which was a 5 minute car ride away. overall 5 starts around . would definitely stay again!
