This cottage was located perfectly to get a great view of the sunsets. The dining table and kitchen sink both face the big window so you get to see the lake. The outdoor seating under the porch (with a roof over it ) was so comfortable. The dock, the fire pit, the floating raft, the clothes line were also a great bonus. There are four beds upstairs, each tucked into their own little cubby, so although they are in the same space, they are somewhat separated. The air conditioner upstairs kept that space cool. The living room was quite large, with plenty of seating,. The property sits next to a small hotel, but is separated by trees and bushes so it’s not too intrusive. The location was perfect for getting around to see the surrounding cities and attractions. The owner, Daniel, was very responsive and great to work with, I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll be able to go back again next year.

This was a great trip and a great location. The house had everything we needed. The four beds upstairs were perfect bc we have four kids. We had a great time here.

Had a great time at the cottage. Beautiful views of the lake and a perfect location. Walking distance to downtown Beulah and a short 10 minute drive to Frankfort. Sleepy Bear and Glen Arbor are also very close. Communication with Dan was great. Everything was as described.

You are definitely paying for the view. Cottage was outdated however some renovations were obvious. There seemed to be a mice problem one was seen on our last night in the living room, we did not let the owner know since we felt he knew there was already an issue. There were plugs in the outlets throughout the house to deter them. Overall stay was ok the view is what we enjoyed the most.

Loved the view of the lake from the house.. the nightly sunsets were gorgeous. Swimming in the crystal clear lake was fantastic. The upstairs bedroom was a hit with all the beds to choose from. It was nice on the 2 rainy days to have the room for everyone to sit in a comfy spot. Loved the big swing in the yard.

Easy check in and out, everything you need for an enjoyable trip. Good times!

This property was absolutely perfect for my family. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area. We couldn't have had better views of the lake or enjoyed our time any more!

Nice cabin in a good central location. Cabin was clean, they have a nice beech with water amenities, and it worked great for us. We thought it was a good value considering the location. Unfortunately we went just a couple of weeks too early so a lot of businesses were closed. I only say that so people can plan accordingly.

This quaint cottage is right off Crystal Lake and offers all the water toys you could want (kayaks, raft, etc). Plenty of privacy, and walking distance to lots of food options, including a Filipino food truck down the road, which was comfort food to my family and me. Dan was always accessible and was super helpful with accommodating special WiFi needs, even though he was on vacation himself!

Beautiful location on Crystal lake, great rock hunting on the beach! House had everything short of a can opener, which I felt obligated to donate. The upstairs was perfect for the three kids. Looking forward to coming back when it warms up!

Great property to stay at - excellent location with short drive to ski hills. Property was was clean, comfortable and cosy with lots of space for a family of five. Stores between Beulah and Benzonia are close and had everything we needed.

Cozy cottage had everything we needed. Loved being right on the lake! Was an impromptu trip so we appreciated having grocery nearby. Visited Frankfurt, Arcadia, and Traverse City. Lovely, relaxing getaway!

We were looking for an up-north getaway for a week for simple R&R. This cottage was perfect! Right on the lake. Very spacious and very cozy. Stopped at the convenient grocery on the way in for food and spirits for the week. The kitchen was large and perfect for a week of meals in. Didn't need to go out to eat when we had the best seat in the house at the large dining table next to the picturesque window over-looking Crystal Lake. Easy and nice walking distance to Beulah for morning latte and muffins. Love the Betsy Trail for a bike ride. Lots of fantastic restaurants and shops in the area for that day when we can all get out again. Dan was easy to communicate with and available when needed (the kitchen light is behind the fridge). Highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay here. Great access to the lake, so peaceful hearing the waves. Conveniently located to many other activities as well. House was clean and had enough room for everyone. Especially appreciated that there was room for everyone to sit around the table and in the living room.

The house was exactly as described. Dan, the owner was very informative and easy to contact. Good location. We brought our kayaks and bikes and enjoyed doing both while there. We would defiantly stay there again.

My family came here days before fall started, a little bit cold to have a swim at the lake. But the view was absolutely lovely and peaceful. Almost every necessity was provided at the cottage and was spacious for 7 persons. Will definitely come back during the summer months. Thank you to the property owners for sharing their wonderful place.

Great communication from property owner throughout the process, particularly in light of the pandemic. The house was top notch, well equipped with all the essentials. Access to lake and private dock was tremendous. Highly recommend this property.

This property was perfect for our family of five for a fun ski weekend at Crystal Mountain. The house was clean and very cute! It was very well appointed with everything we needed to relax, cook our own meals and rest up in between ski days. Location was ideal and contact with Dan was easy and quick. Would definitely return!

This cottage is set up for large groups. For two that just wanted a cozy get away, it was too big for us. Lake is beautiful. I would have expected at least one dresser drawer for a week stay. Need blinds that cover whole windows in master bedroom. I could see in the neighbors windows and visa versa . I would have been happy to have paid for some firewood, had to go find some. Good bathroom! I would recommend for a family.

This was our second time staying here and it was perfect both times. We love the view and the cottage is always nice and clean. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our time at the cottage was amazingly relaxing. It is a beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The proximity to the lake and the stunning sunsets were especially great. A large front room was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and family conversations. Comfortable furniture on the front porch was an ideal place for having our morning coffee. Just a wonderful place to spend a week.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Dan's cottage. Location and lake view is amazing and Dan is a responsive and gracious host. Can't wait to return!

Property has great sunsets and is walking distance (15-20 min) to town. Big perk is the AC, help cool the entire house.
