Very cute house! Pictures don’t do it justice! This home surpassed my expectations. Convenient walk to downtown. Really cool bar/ restaurant called Workers Tavern is just a block away with amazing outdoor seating. I will be renting this property again.

There were 4 women from church in Terrebonne, OR between the ages of 59 &80 staying at your home. We loved the fact that it was so very clean and roomy. Although we were on the main road, we were able to sleep soundly every night. The only thing I can say is there’s a lot of steps going up to the house as well as to the bedrooms. We had an excellent time in Astoria getting away from the hot and smoky Central Oregon weather.

very clean. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable.

This fun apartment reminded me of being at Grandma's house! Beds were comfortable, it was clean, and there was plenty of room to spread out.
It is on the main road in Astoria, but we didn't notice any road noise. There are lots of narrow stairs to get into the apartment - the owner let us know before confirming the reservation, which I greatly appreciated.
We also had a last minute change in plans, and the owners were very accommodating. They were terrific at responding quickly and helping us rearrange a few things.

We did not know what to expect of the area but this is close to the heart of this and right across the street from old canning docks.
The house is more than a hundred years old and necessary updates have been made. There is an expected creakiness to the sturdy wood. Access and parking are great. There are stairs to ascend to get in and keeping a toddler from the inside stairs was easy with a couple of chairs.
The house is almost under a highway access to a bridge which can be seen in most photo sets of Astoria. There is noise from trucks but that was just part of the ambiance for us. It didn't bother the toddler's naps.

We celebrated our young adult sons' birthdays over a holiday weekend. So nice to be close to more activities than we could fit into the three days, with comfortable space to relax between outings. The kitchen got plenty of use. Several of us enjoyed the hike down from the Column. There's plenty left to do when we return someday!

Wonderful place for a short stay. A little noisy because of major road, but host was easy to contact and home was well kept. We enjoyed our very short stay here.

This was a cute property near attractions. Was very easy to walk to the water front and a quick walk/drive to downtown area. The house itself is decorated very cute and was very clean. It is an older home with older home quirks like sticky doors and steep stairs. But overall very enjoyable stay.

Just a quick trip to Astoria. This house was perfect for what we needed. Not far from down town. Clean. Safe. Super cute. So happy we were able to stay here

The property was somewhat tucked under the Astoria bridge. Lots of stairs! We loved the porch looking out towards the water. Quaint old house, wish we could have stayed longer. Very satisfied.

Friends and I booked a house for a friend's work-related event. The property had all of the amenities, clean, well-maintained and was a perfect fit. Being close to the road and town was a good thing and a bad thing, road noise, was constant, but you could not hear it inside the house or the backyard. On the other hand, you could walk across the street for food and to get on the trail that goes thru town. There were no screens in some of the windows; older house, but we did not get in a bugs or flies, so it was a moot issue. A/C would have been nice, but we did not need it. If it was unseasonable warm it would have been uncomfortable, but being close to the ocean that is probably a rare occurrence. Good communication with the owner and we had no issues.

This house is beautiful and very well maintained. After traveling from San Diego on our motorcycles and staying in hotels, it was refreshing to stay in a home. This house has everything you need and off street parking with a great view.

This is house was perfect for our needs and desired location. We were able to sleep comfortably and enjoy the local attractions easily from here. It was very clean and comfortable. Claudine was a lovely host who was very responsive. If we get to spend more time Astoria we would for sure stay here again! The views of the Columbia and bridge were amazing we literally sat in the sun room all evening and enjoyed it.

This is a very old house that has been beautifully decorated. It is close to the Cathedral tree, the Astoria Column and the waterfront of the Columbia river. Nice views and a closed in porch in front.
It is close to a main street, the bridge and heavy traffic. We slept fine without ear plugs. Others might want them. There were many thoughtful touches such as coffee beans and popcorn provided. We had a great stay.

We found this rental to be one of the cleanest we have stayed at in quite a while (thank you for NOT using Vacasa!) The house had many extras we find lacking in other rentals. We rent houses 4-5 time a year and this one was definitely above average. It is in walking distance of downtown and Bridgetown Bistro (across the highway) served an absolutely amazing dinner. All in all, we were pleased with the accommodations. The beds were very comfy. The deer did come and visit this morning also and we had an amazing sunset last night.
The only downside, not the owner's fault at all, is the highway noise, which others have mentioned. It is sort of all around the house and seemed to be at all hours of the day (and night.) Just something to be aware of if you are thinking about a nice quiet getaway in Astoria.

The house was very cute, the owner was nice and accommodating. The home is located next to an adult shop, which I didn’t realize when booking. That was quite a shocker for my grandma, and there were many people coming and going. It is also right under a freeway and next to a busy road. There is a bunch of room in the home though and we had everything we needed for our stay.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME - COZY, WELL EQUIPPED WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS. FUN FEATURES BY CLEANING PERSON-ENJOYED THE ARTISTIC TOWEL ARRANGEMENTS. FUN TO LOOK AT THE BRIDGE, RIVER, AND BUSSLE WHILE SIPPING COFFEE IN THE ENCLOSED PORCH AS IT RAINED OUTSIDE. BONUS ENTERTAINMENT WERE 2 SIBBLING YOUNG DEER NIBBLING ON BACK HILL SIDE AND THEN BEDDING DOWN IN THE BACK YARD. ONE DOWN SIDE- I'M SENSITIVE TO AIR FRESHENERS ( THERE WERE 2 PLUG-IN ONES) AND HAD TO UNPLUG AND OPEN WINDOWS TO AIR OUT. WHEN SCENT GONE, THE HOME WAS JUST FINE WITH NO NEGATIVE SMELLS. YOU MAY WANT TO REQUST NOT TO USE PROIOR TO YOUR STAY. TRULY EASY ACCESS TO DOWNTOWN AND WATERFRONT RESTAURANTS AND SURROUNDINGS. ASTORIA IS A VERY FUN PLACE TO VISIT; ENJOYED THE MARITIME MUSEUM - VERY WELL DONE- FUN EXHIBITS WITH WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE. WATCHING SUNSET FROM THE ASTORIA TOWER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

Loved the charm of the old home right in the middle of all the bustle that is Astoria. The property owner was wonderful, responsive and helped us out with a few kinks with the snap of a finger. The huge dining room room table is also great for games and puzzles. We will definitely be back!

Thank you so much for sharing your charming home with us, Claudine. We are big fans of older houses and yours did not disappoint! The location was great for strolling around the marina and walking into town on the Riverwalk. We enjoyed watching large ships come and go as we sat in the sunroom and even had a cruise ship dock one day as a special treat! We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return! Oh, and lastly, thank you so much for the very quick replacement of the coffee maker. We noticed that it did not work when we arrived, notified you (Claudine), and you had a new one to us within an hour or so.

Have no complaints. Wish people walking by on the sidewalk were a bit more respectfull of my car and the surrounding area but the property itself and the decor were great. It's an older home rather vintage looking that had been restored to its now beautiful condition . Was very comfortable and a pleasure to visit
I would recommend it to anyone.

We liked this place very much. Two of us, however, had difficulty with the stairs (both of them over 70). Just keep it in mind if stairs are a issue.

The two bedroom one bath was just what we needed for our fishing trip. The house was clean and convenient for us. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed our time in Astoria and the home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked. Comfortable beds, on the soft side for hubby, but perfect for me. Claudine supplied excellent coffee beans which I truly appreciated! The location is very convenient, but it is on a main road which is very busy. I highly recommend eating at Bridgewater Bistro, just a quick walk across the street. The downside is the traffic noise which doesn’t really quiet at night. We ran the box fan on high to drown it out, but found we couldn’t sleep with the window open. Overall, this was a very nice stay.

Our stay at this delightful, classic home was wonderful! The location of the home and the comfort and beauty of the residence were superb. And our host for our visit could not have been more accommodating or considerate of our needs. We will definitely try to book here again for our next visit to Astoria.

Overall we really liked this house. It was very clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5. It is listed as having washer/dryer but you must have to pay extra to use them because we did not have access to them which was sort of a bummer. My husband and I loved watching the boats come in and out of the Columbia River each morning while drinking our coffee in the sun room. The kids loved it too! The kitchen seemed to be stocked with most cooking supplies, although we did not cook any meals while we stayed here. The location was great as it was easy to walk to the trolly on the boardwalk, although the trolly was only running on half of the route while we were there due to a building collapse that blocked part of the tracks. We also walked to the downtown shops from the house (probably a 15-20 minute walk). Most of. the main attractions in Astoria are just a short drive away from the house. One thing to note that I didn't realize when booking this house was that there is a KFC right across the street and a tobacco store right next door to the house. The house is also located on a busy road and right under a huge bridge which made some loud traffic noise periodically. Sometimes I woke from the traffic noise in the night but did get used to it after a while. Overall, we had a very lovely stay at this house in Astoria and would more than likely book here again.
