Loved the location of the property, it's really not that rural and it's really close to Beavers Bend and resteraunts. It was very peaceful and quiet.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was clean and well stocked for a great stay! It was just as advertised on the site. We really enjoyed the seclusion being tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Everything was very close. We enjoyed the Lake and the River. The Friends Trail Loop hike was nice too! Oh, we really enjoyed Abendigo’s restaurant. The food was great! You gotta try the ribeye, the Louisiana pasta, and the catfish!! Thanks for a great Anniversary! W

We stayed at this cabin 3 nights. Accommodations were great and accurate with description given in VRBO listing. It was extra exciting to realize that my parents who owned a cabinet door business had built the cabinet doors in this particular cabin. Communication was excellent with the host. Definitely recommend if your a couple looking for a cabin or a couple with one other family member who doesn’t mind sleeping on the pull out couch. King size bed was very comfy and hot tub was very relaxing. Close to most things that you would want to do.

This is our second time to stay at Bear Bottom and we plan on returning! The cabin is easy to find, great location, clean, and a great outdoor space! We love staying here, relaxing in the hot tub and having a fire in the fire pit. I like having a patio table which is great for playing games. The inside has all you need to cook with in the kitchen, a washer/dryer, king size bed, and a nice bathroom. Truly enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is small, but was just right for me, my husband, and our 11 year old grandson. We made good use of the hot tub and firepit. The petting zoo just up the street was lots of fun and we even did a bit of fishing. this spot is conveniently located for quick access to nearby attractions, yet quiet enough to feel secluded. Will definitely keep it in mind for future trips to the neighborhood.

Great cabin, loved that the bedroom is separate from living area. Outside is private with neighbors far from sight, when leaves on the trees i wouldn't even know they are there. Owner had great communication and answered any questions promptly.

My family stayed here, myself, my boyfriend and my two kids ages 6 and 9. This was a perfect little get away from the hustle and bustle of DFW. Loved how secluded it was from the other cabins and truly felt like you were out in nature. The proximity to the lake and trails was also a major plus. Would definitely stay here again

We booked the weekend as Christmas present to each other instead of gifts. We have never been to Hochatown before. But the cabin was perfect. Nice clean hot tub, great spot for the fire pit, hammock was wonderful in the mornings, and the grill was just the little extra for the outside. Inside was clean had your basic needs that you would expect from a rental. We will book again for another trip next year.

Cabin was the perfect size for 2 and a pup. It was clean and in a great location. Neighbors were not too close, off the main road so was able to walk the dog but yet we were close enough to drive to the grocery store, restaurants/bars, and hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

It was reasonably priced and perfect for a couple. The bed was comfortable but, we didn't like the pillows. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

This cabin was great. Close to everything but still secluded. Perfect location and size for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the patio. The only thing that would have made it better, was a little more cleanliness. There were dust bunnies on the walls and AC vents. The dryer lint trap was over flowing and the dryer vent outside has a thick layer of lint caked on. The cabin definitely needs a seasonal deep clean. Other than that, we recommend this cabin!

What a perfect little cabin for my husband and I. It provided all the modern amenities with a nice touch of rustic ambience. We absolutely loved the secludedness, yet being so close to everything.
