The property was great. 10 minutes to convocation center. Mountain View just awesome but takes some climbing curves to get there but that’s just typical for the area. Directions were clear, had all the essentials, easy check out! Good stay! Would stay again if still had a student at App!

We had a wonderful time! The house is so cozy. We loved that we had a stunning view of the mountains, while also being pretty close to stores and the whole purpose of our visit. I would recommend anyone who is interested in staying here, do it.

The property and hosts were both top notch. Clean, well equipped, nicely appointed and the Hosts could not have been more gracious. The problem arose from a picture we saw on the VRBO listing. The living showed a "recliner sofa and recliner chair". We chose this cabin mainly because of the easy access AND those recliners. We are both elderly with back issues etc. and we're use to having recliners at home to use w/heating pads. We were very, very disappointed that when we arrived at this cabin we immediately noticed that the two recliners shown on the VRBO listing were not in the cabin. Instead there was a very soft, cushiony leather sofa and a small side chair. Neither were comfortable for us. We contacted the host and she was very sorry and said there may be a reclining chair on the deck - but there wasn't. We had to spend our 6 days of vacation in uncomfortable dining room table straight chairs when we "relaxed" from our day trips. Again we were very, very disappointed and actually miserable at times!

The home was very pretty, well maintained, and has an amazing view. The hosts were extremely accommodating. Overall it was a great experience!

It was just perfect I enjoyed the deck. Everything we needed was there. The view of course and the peace and quiet.

This was such a comfortable and cozy cabin to stay at with my family for Spring Break!! The views were so beautiful and it had everything we needed for the week! The beds were soft, the shower was hot, the old stove kept the cabin warm on cold days, and it was just a beautiful little cabin near everything that we wanted to see and do in Boone and the surrounding areas. Thank you so much for a wonderful week with my family!!

This was our second visit to this cozy home. Just as perfect as the first visit. Has everything you would need. We will be back.

My wife and I came up to spend some time together, away from our usual routine of work and kids. We loved the peaceful atmosphere at the house, beautiful veiw, and the convenience of being so close to downtown.

This is the second year we have stayed at this awesome place!!! You could watch the ever changing unobstructed views of over seven different mountain ranges for hours and still be in awe of the beauty. The property had everything we could need as a family of three. We saw deer daily walking around. Minutes from Boone, skiing, tubing, Tweetsie, and all other attractions. I’ve already booked for next year and cannot wait for another visit.

The house was the perfect size for me and my boyfriend!!! The view was spectacular and the snow made it even more dreamy !!! The instructions on how to get to the house were clear and easy to understand!! Overall great stay !! Will be recommending my parents and other app student parents to stay !!

We always enjoy our stay here! The host is wonderful and always has the house is great condition! Decorated beautifully as always! The worst part of the trip is always leaving! We consider this our home away from home!

We absolutely loved this property. The pictures of the view do not do it justice. We stayed in November after most of the leaves had dropped. The view alone made this spot memorable, the complimentary candy made it even better :) You can't get much better for a fabulous view while still being so close to town. The mountain can be tricky in rough weather, we had dense fog conditions, but you are practically sitting above Boone. The property was clean, neat, and well maintained. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. 5 out of 5 for sure.

The cabin was the perfect place for us to stay while we visited our son at App State and go to a football game. Communication with Robin was perfect, the place was clean and comfortable. The added bonus was the weather was beautiful and the leaves were in peak color. We will definitely be back!!

Loved this cabin. Clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain Views. Enjoyed the fall decor and The gas stove made for cozy evenings. Perfect base location for exploring the NC blue ridge in the Boone area.

My wife, son and I had another great stay at this property. Robin is always a pleasure to work with. House was clean and the view off the back deck is awesome. We will be back again.

Our stay was brief but we enjoyed it very much. The house was very clean and comfortable with a lovely deck to relax on after long walks. We arrived after dark and the road by the gate is a little tricky to find at night but the neighbors out walking were very helpful and kind.

Perfect location just minutes from king st. and App state campus. Wonderful and relaxing views from the deck. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location. Well equipped. We liked the books of local hikes. The gate code was wrong within the text of the email. Noisy fan in the main bedroom. We would rent here again.

Enjoyed the stay in this cabin with AMAZING view! The home was cozy, well-equipped, with had a very comfortable bed. It was relaxing minus the one night we could not the gate to the community was not working when we arrived late after the Kruger Brothers concert. The owners were as helpful as they could be, but we ended up having to leave our car outside the community and walk up the the house in the dark. The rest of the weekend was great and made up for the hassle of that first night. Would stay here again!

This cabin is just what we needed. We loved getting away from the heat for a few days, and will likely book again next summer.

Let's start with the good stuff. The cabin is clean, inside and out; everything works. The hardwood floors are attractive—the cabin and furnishings are serviceable. The best feature is the view from the deck and the only reason to trek two-plus miles up winding s curves. We could not use the larger primary bedroom with a view of the mountains. The mattress was very high. As older adults having to launch ourselves into bed and catapult out was not appealing. The smaller secondary bedroom was in dire need of storage. It had no drawers, and the closet floor was unusable, with nowhere to put a suitcase or a bag of shoes. We used the primary bedroom to store our things and slept in the secondary bedroom. The chest in the primary had three drawers available, and the rest were cluttered. If we had more than two people staying, it would have been a real problem. The hall closet was cluttered, and the kitchen cupboards left little room for foodstuffs. At nearly $1200 a week, there should be a place to put a suitcase, foodstuffs, and clothing for four people. This could be easily remedied—decluttering, fewer teddy bears and deer statues, and more storage for guests' things.

The property is super clean and cozy, and it has great heating if you're staying in the winter time. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend staying here! Not to mention the views were absolutely breathtaking. You can lay in bed all day and just watch the mountains. INCREDIBLE!
