Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement !! Un petit coin de paradis sur la magnifique Mangrove Bight dans le West End de Roatan. Cette suite moderne d'une chambre a été récemment rénovée pour inclure une toute nouvelle cuisine complète, de nouveaux meubles dans le salon, une salle de bains rénovée et un vaste espace extérieur couvert privé directement sur l'eau. Nous fournissons un paddleboard et des kayaks pour les clients, la baie en face de la propriété est parfaite pour le paddleboard et le kayak! La suite est à l'étage inférieur de notre maison Casa Amarilla où nous aimerions vous faire venir et être nos invités! L'emplacement est très calme car il est niché entre les mangroves juste sur la baie, mais il n'est qu'à deux minutes à pied du cœur de la principale zone touristique du West End. Pas besoin d'une voiture de location avec de nombreux restaurants et magasins de plongée de premier ordre, et la belle plage de baignade de Half Moon Bay en bas de la route.
La suite est de 630 pieds carrés comprenant une grande chambre avec lit king size, une grande salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne et un salon avec une nouvelle cuisine complète. Le grand espace extérieur couvert juste au bord de l'eau vient d'être agrandi et complété par de nouveaux carreaux de porcelaine. Vous avez également accès à notre quai privé qui est parfait pour bronzer, observer les étoiles ou regarder le lever du soleil tout en sirotant votre café du matin. La commodité supplémentaire pour les plongeurs est que vous n'avez pas à faire de la randonnée vers et depuis le magasin de plongée car ils offrent un service de ramassage et de dépôt directement à partir de notre quai privé!

Wow!! Deana and Marks place was stunning. We were on a completely private oasis without a care in the world. Our wonderful hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions. This area was so peaceful with the laid back from way back feel. Whole town and atmosphere was that way, people are kind and awesome. You feel a true community vibe and connection. The condo is great with a beautiful view on the patio, and hummingbird visits enjoying the nectar from the flowers. The garden area is quaint and relaxing. Bed was very comfy as well as the entire condo inside and out. Thanks Deanna and Mark for being perfect hosts! And a big thumbs up to the transportation and grocery stop, very accommodating!

From the time we booked and throughout our stay, communication with Deana and Mark was so easy and helpful. We travel a lot and both agree this rental has been one of our favourites, and had everything we needed and more. We absolutely loved the outdoor space and access to the dock and kayaks. Having the convenience of a driver to pick up / drop off at the airport and get groceries was so appreciated. Can’t say enough about this place and their recommendations on things to see/do on the island. The location is so convenient, you have water front views and only minutes away from restaurants and the beach. Already planning our return trip next year! Our stay in September was amazing. It started with Deana setting up a pickup for us from the airport. the driver was waiting and ready. plus he stopped at the grocery store on the way so were set to go. Deana and Mark met us when we arrived and got us set up with the code and answered all of our questions.
The place is beautifully, clean and right on the water. Plus a huge bonus is that they have a UV filter so the water was safe to drink. Huge convenience. The place had all of the things we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. Also the grill was excellent and we used it at least 5 nights.
The snorkeling at the entrance to the bay was excellent, however i recommend that you tie the kayak or paddle board to your ancle to make it easier for the boats to see you.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Amarillo. Our hosts Deanna and Mark were wonderful. The unit was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The view off the back and from the dock was amazing. We enjoyed frequent hummingbird visits and the waves of butterflies flying west at sunset. It is a very easy walk to half moon bay where there are many restaurants and bars, but when you get back it is very calm and quiet until the roosters crow and you can start a new day. Enjoy paddling in the beight. We sure did!

We spent two weeks at Casa Amarilla and loved the property. It was well designed and perfect for two people. The yard was beautiful, well maintained and the view on the bay was very relaxing. Restaurants and the half-moon bay were at a walking distance from the property. Deana and Mark were extremely helpful and very patient with our questions. We really enjoyed our 3 week stay at Casa Amarilla. It was our 2nd trip to Roatan and we wanted to explore more of the island, dive, and relax. While Casa Amarilla is very close to West End, it is far enough away that you don't feel like you are in town. Very quiet serene landscape with areas for sun & shade with a great dock for stargazing. The space is well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts, Mark & Deana, were great with all sorts of recommendations and were very responsive. We are already making plans to come back & stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Amarilla. It's so quiet and peaceful, it's hard to believe the main tourist area is just a few minutes walk down the road, with lots of great restaurants and shops. Cafe de PaIo and Loretta's are fantastic and just steps away. Wave's Art Gallery is worth checking out for great local art. Lots of places to grab a bite and a drink as you watch the sunset over the water. It was always so nice to come back and relax on the dock after being out all day.

Island Paradise
This is absolutely perfect fir a couples get away. Its very sucluded, with a gorgeous view. The gardens are amazing. We saw iguanas, what his, and chickens on the property. An added bonus is that it's just a few minutes walk to the West End area where all the dive shops, restaurants, grocery stores and souvenir shops are. The West End beach in front of Ginger's is great for a short snorkeling experience. Ginger's and Loretta's have great food. Mark and Deanna are always smiling and gracious host. We can't wait to come back next year.

Just Plain Lovely
From the moment we exited the airport upon our arrival, to the ride back to the airport for departure home, we knew we had chosen the right place.
Imagine, going to Honduras and relying on people you have never met to pick you up, bring you to the grocery store (with your luggage in their car), and bring you to a home on a the Caribbean? I'm telling you that you are safe and in good hands. Friendly right from the start.
The property is nestled on a bay that will take your breath away every single sunrise. I woke up every morning at sunrise and just sat on the deck and loved being there. We spent a lot of time on the patio, relaxing to the water feature and beautiful landscape.
The actual property is perfect for a couple, no more. The bed is very comfortable. The cable and internet were more reliable than what we have in Wisconsin. We really didn't use the cable all that much, but it worked great when we wanted to settle in for the night. The kitchen is well equipped. Bottled water is plentiful and appreciated on the property.
Note- Cash is King on this island. Since the beginning of the pandemic, many small businesses have opted not to continue their use of credit cards. I was not fully prepared for this. We had enough cash for what we needed, but really could have used more. Our primary reason for the trip was to SCUBA dive, but when we wanted to do other things we had to pass this time. This gives us another reason to return to Roatan.

Mark and Deana were wonderful hosts and their property is amazing. Perfect combination of seclusion and accessibility. When my husband and I would walk back to the house from town, it felt like entering a secret oasis. Lots of outdoor space to relax.
Inside, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of drawer and counter space to unpack and feel at home. The airport pickup and grocery store stop was an added luxury!

The location is great, the house has its private dock to a really peaceful bay. And it’s 5mins walk distance to the center/busy area of west bay, yet, super quite where it’s at.

Couldn't be happier
The property and location is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better host. The grounds are meticulously cared for, with an abundance of well maintained local flowers and trees. You are far enough away from town that you are not disturbed by the nightlife, but close enough to walk there in about 5 minutes. The hosts have a wealth of knowledge about the island, and are eager to share it with you. I can't say enough about the overall experience, except I wish we could have stayed longer. I will be returning as soon as I can, and hopefully, there is a vacancy for me!

Casa Amarilla is a 3 minute walk to Half Moon Bay beach, West End businesses and Seagrape Plantation Dive Shop. The accommodations were secure, private and very comfortable with the comfy king size bed, ceiling fans and AC. We enjoyed the kitchen and its amenities. That is the word that kept coming up during our 2 week stay. The Unit is perfectly equipped to make your stay Comfortable. The location is the perfect blend for West End Walkability vs. Privacy (No Car Needed). The added Bonus of Daena arranging our Pick-Up and Return to and From the Airport (including a Grocery stop at Eldon's) was greatly appreciated. My wife and I are already discussing our return to Roatan for another stay at Casa Amarilla!

When I booked this property, I had not had a vacation for over 2 years. I was looking for somewhere a bit off the beaten path but with good access to town with its many restaurants and beaches. Well, this home provided the quiet and rest I was longing for and yet offered a 5 min walk unto the main street with its shops and dinning experiences.
The hosts were kind, considerate and there if you needed anything. The property is truly lovely and is tremendously peaceful with its flowing water cascade and stunning fauna. If you are looking for the perfect restful and peaceful getaway, this is location and the hosts are highly recommended. Thank you both for your kindness and opening up your home to me.

A Little Slice of Heaven
Anyone would love this property! There are so many positives:
* It really does take only a minute to get to the beach and the "main drag" of West End.
* The outdoor space of the apartment is more than relaxing. It is gorgeous and multifaceted. There is couch seating, lounge seating, table & chair seating, and finally hammock seating (lying down!)
* The water feature provides a constant relaxing sound.
* The lush greenery and shade make even the hottest days bearable outdoors.
* The access to kayaks and paddleboards gives guests various opportunities with water fun beyond beach days.
* We are spoiled to king-sized beds; the BR has a very comfortable one. Sleeping there (with the AC) every night was rejuvenating for the next day's adventures.
* The bathroom is nice and large with very plush towels.
I could go on but will stop here to only say that no one would be disappointed with this space. Deana & Mark are phenomenal hosts who seem happy when guests are happy. What more could one ask for?!

One bedroom perfect for A couple
Great location. Quite yet very close and walkable to town beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor seating area that is covered so you can enjoy even when raining or just want to get out of the sun. Beautiful evenings sitting on the dock with a cocktail. Good quality internet. Thankful for the pick up and grocery run. Deanna was very pleasant and responded quickly to any questions. BBQ in site. Great snorkeling from the beach at half moon beach, west bay beach and sandy bay. The reef if spectacular. There is boat traffic depending on where you are so have something to identify yourself . Great restaurants in the area..... some are very small and require reservations. Really unnecessary to rent a car
