The house is exactly as pictured…the beach is absolutely beautiful and we had it completely to ourselves on most days! Bruce was great to communicate prior to our arrival. The property manager’s daughter met us at the airport, drove us to the rental car place, and then had us follow her to the house. She pointed out grocery and other stores along the way. We met locals at the Fort Lauderdale airport who gave us a list of restaurants which was really helpful. Banana Bay is a short 7 minute walk from the house. The Sand Bar is literally built on the sand and has a great conch sandwich. We enjoyed Stone Crab (great lobster), Pier 1 (they feed the local sharks from the pier at 7,8,9 pm), Cappachinos (great Italian), Agave (Mexican). In the Port Lucaya Market, there is a little conch/seafood stand which was awesome. Be sure to find Terry’s Conch stand in Taino beach has the best conch salad. We did a fishing trip with Lilb fishing and a sunset cruise with Brian out of the Ocean Reef resort Marina. Contact the resort for info. Overall, we just had a very laid back two weeks at this lovely place. Freeport is coming back after the last hurricane and two years of covid. The people are warm and friendly and the views are out of this world. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing vacation!

Beautiful home in a private neighborhood directly on the beach! Close to Banana Bay!

This place is perfect if you want to be on the water!! There are 4 groups of coral heads just off the bank in 8ft of water to see all kinds of fish so bring your snorkel and fins!!!! Bring plenty of bug spray for the biting gnats as well. House was perfect. Thanks Bruce and Andrew!!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home, the Bahamian people made us feel like family they always had a kind word on easygoing style. The home was as advertised, dramatic views, gated safety, great amenities, lots of space. We enjoyed our stay very much 😎

Our family loved every minute at this beautiful property! Andrew is awesome! The island is beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling and collecting shells. 5 stars all around!

I almost don’t want to share how amazing this little gem is- so there will be availability for us to come back in the future. But we have to share just how amazing our stay was there! We have been coming to the Bahamas for years now but nothing compared to how amazing this trip was for us. From the booking, ease of communication with Bruce, having our local connection Andrew meeting us at the airport, everything was taken care of. I mean everything! After getting there after two days of travel and seeing the beach as soon as you walk-in the front door- it’s like you step into a whole different time and space of relaxation. The house was amazing- can’t say enough about it. Everything you need is there. It was the perfect place for my 10 and 8 year old (snorkeling from the beach on the property, catching lizards, shell collecting), my 76 year old mother so relax and enjoy reading on the back deck that’s has the most beautiful waters as far as the eye can see, my hubby who stalked bonefish all the way down to Banana bay! Definitely a place for all to enjoy. I highly recommend having Andrew preparing some local dishes for you- he was so much fun and a wealth of knowledge for the kids and all of us! The best food around was made in our own little villas for the week and leftovers that lasted 2 days! We are already looking at dates to come back and hopefully stay even longer. Thank you Bruce and Andrew- for making this one of our best trips ever!

If you are looking for a tranquil setting, steps from the beach/ocean with great accommodations, this is the place. I was tempted to leave a lousy review to scare others away so we could have this to ourselves. Bruce was great to deal with and Andrew (the property manager)was an outstanding host. From meeting us at the airport, to his responsiveness to any questions we had - he was most hospitable. The fully furnished home was our home away from home as we cooked most of our meals on site. The wifi was great for the time that we had to work. A morning walk on the beach, followed by sipping a fresh cup of coffee watching the sunrise over the ocean set the tone for every day. We look forward to booking another stay.

We had a great family vacation! Communication was excellent before & during our trip. The house is very large and very well appointed - plenty of space for 3 adults & two teenagers, comfortable furniture & beds. The beach is so close that when you sit on the covered porch (with fans), you still feel like you're right at the water! Having the drinking water dispenser was a huge plus. The water is gorgeous, but the entrance was a little rocky - we just had to walk a little bit down the beach to have smooth, soft sand! This house is the closest to the beach, which made it feel very private. We never saw anyone else at the pool, but it was close by, very clean, and refreshing. I would highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a relaxing, quiet beach vacation!

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this dream place. Bruce was very helpful in the weeks leading to our trip. The services he offers were extremely appreciated by us. Bruce’s partners wife, Sonja, came to meet us at the airport, and the rental place they recommended- Brads Car rental, had a rep there for us. He took us to get our car, and we followed Sonja. (It was much easier to know how to drive on the left when you are following someone). Soniya took us to buy some essential foods and even more essential liquor:), and then we followed her to the private gated community. She showed us around, there was already wonderful dinner prepared by Andrew waiting for us, as well as the other food items we asked him to prepare for us. There was also water cooler in the house - that is a must here. Once we were in, I could barely wait - didn’t even unpack. Went straight to the beach - which was in our back yard. Our own beach. It was amazing. The back porch of the house is where we lived for the first few days. That is all we did the first night, enjoyed the charcuterie Andrew prepared for us , and some wine and bubbles, while sitting on the beach right behind the house. There were two loungers and chairs for comfort. We stayed out there the whole night. The same for the next day, porch and beach, and beautiful food prepared by Andrew. Not a single bug bothered us. I thought I picked bug spray for no reason.(bugs came on third day) Our local experience- my husband hit the local CrossFit- super friendly people. Janice, from the rentals place, hooked us up with her husband, Les, and we went fishing. Les is good people, we had fantastic time! He was super nice, down to earth, aware and helpful. He made sure we got the barracuda! We got to experience a few other locals places. We went to the marketplace, of course. We had a quick bite in Agave with the best rum drinks ever, and spent the afternoon at Flying Fish, enjoying elevated cousins and extraordinary service. Just up the beach next to the house was Banana Bay- fantastic beach restaurant with elevated food, awesome beach deck, and a sandbar where you can take a chair or lounge and go hang out- in the middle of the ocean:). And that is walking distance to our house:) Overall, while the kitchen had everything- it can use organizing and a deep clean. Decor is somewhat dated, but layout is amazing! It was perfect for us! Waking up to 180 degrees of ocean is incredible. Thank you, Bruce!

If I had been there a bit longer, I would have organized the cupboards and drawers...they are very well supplied, but all over the place when looking for specifics. We had such a wonderful relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The views and beach were surreal. We never even went to see the pool. Even enjoyed sitting on the deck on a stormy day watching a storm roll in and pass over us. The home is inviting and exactly as it is shown. Bruce, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and was always readily available for questions and answered promptly. Andrew, the property manager met us at the gate and brought us to the home also cooks and prepares meals that were simply wonderful. So happy we found this place!!!!

Loved everything. Best location ever

Paradise Villa is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Our family of 5 adults spent a week doing just that. The Villa is very comfortable and well appointed. And the view from the back porch is just spectacular - we spent many hours watching the ocean and listening to the waves from there. Bruce was very communicative and easy going from first inquiry all the way to during our stay. We had a small problem with our stay and Bruce responded very positively to our issue and more than made up for our inconvenience. He showed true commitment to the satisfaction of his guests. Andrew was wonderful as well, and his reputation as a chef is well deserved - we really enjoyed the local cuisine he prepared and served us on - guess where - the back porch. We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Villa and hope to stay again.

This was our second trip to “Paradise”, each time a wonderful experience. The owner Bruce is great to work with, communication was first class. But the location is the best on Grand Bahama Island. I hate to provide any more accolades which will only increase demand for property rental.

Was drawn to this property by consistently strong reviews and it lived up to is billing. Beautiful bungalow in a glorious setting. Andrew(& Sonia) huge assets and very positive contributors to the overall experience. WOud definitely look to repeat

Bruce’s home was complete paradise! It was great to be so close to the beach and Banana Bay. We saw a sting ray swim past- the water is so clear here. The house had everything we needed and Andrew was available whenever we had an issue. We would book again.

From Starting to book this till the moment we left, this was simple and perfect. This place is kept up very well and very clean. The bed is very comfortable as well. The beach is amazing with great waves to get lost in while on the deck and to sleep to as well as perfect calm on other days. It had everything. If you want to relax and enjoy some solitude, this is where you need to be.

We booked for a week but extended our stay as the house was idyllic. Nothing compared with waking to the sea view in the morning,. or the evening and night sky over the ocean. Everything was as promised and we both enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful location and beautiful home. The house is very comfortable and was perfect for my family of four. Right on a beautiful beach with easy access to a small restaurant. House could use a bit of decluttering and AC needs work. Other than these minor issues it is a great find.

The most phenomenal location on Grand Bahama! The house is superb with 2 king suites and a double twin suite on a nearly secluded beautiful beach. We felt extremely safe in the gated community. Close to restaurants of all price ranges, shopping, and attractions. We can’t wait to come back.
